Guessing 3 fronts.
US shale would be a game changer for Grafysorber, especially as regulation tightens up on decommissioning fields. Directa could license out the equipment, have setcar set up do training etc. Better than having loads of folk on the books for ‘straightforward’ jobs or sub contract the work, charge premium for setcar etc, Lots of options.
I notice your emoji (wink) I was told 3 weeks for the masks, but they said in interims finals due mid May. The nomad may have advised against any significant ops news during the close period that could better be clarified after the finals....
“Why Companies Tend to Stop Making Statements During a Close Period
Companies typically refrain from releasing price-sensitive statements or news during the close period. This differs from a quiet period where companies must embargo any public promotions before an initial public offering is made. Companies may choose to withhold making statements during the close period to prevent the company’s shares from being affected ahead of the release of the expected financial results.
If possible, a trading statement or other news might be issued prior to the start of the close period. Companies can host discussions with investors and analysts before the close period commences. It is also possible that statements and news relevant to the financial results would be released as part of the filings or shortly after.
For instance, the company might wait until the financial results are published before revealing the test results for a new product or plans for a new initiative to expand operations. There can be cases wherein a company must report news or statements during the close period even if it might influence share prices. Accidents and calamities that affect the company’s operations may need to be publicly acknowledged. A disaster at a company’s major production facility could not be ignored regardless of a close period. The sudden or unexpected departure of members of executive management likewise can call for public statements by the company that cannot wait...”
So we may get updates next week. 2+2=6

"Ambienthesis is regarded as a leading expert in remediation projects of contaminated sites including Sites of National Interest. The activity extends from the remediation of contaminated sites and polluted areas from illegal waste deposits to the safety of old landfills, through the rehabilitation of groundwater, to decommissioning (demolition and redevelopment) and to the enhancement of abandoned industrial areas"
"Ambienthesis Middle East DMCC is the company located in Dubai, 100% owned by Ambienthesis S.p.A. Trek , hahaha, just got to wait for the news to be 'absorbed'.
Nice one. Someone got bored and sold just as news is about to drop. Directa replied to a post of mine with "Watch this space" and a wave emoji like Hokusai tsunami wave.
Trek , I think the Setcar deal is just the beginning of the oil news. The US shale industry has some major clean ups.
News from the US will put a rocket under the sp. Romanian companies operating in the Black Sea not so much teehee. That is just the test site and now as Trek says is a revenue stream for 7 years.
Next ....
PS just a hunch. We may yet see another £30-40,000 buy come in based on this huge spread ? A hunch nothing more.
Given that northern Italy (Milan) was locked down at the start of this year, the trebling of revenues is pretty impressive. I understand the reluctance to give guidance yet but at least that is encouraging and he has intimated any gap could be far outweighed by the PPE project. I am disappointed that we have not had more info on ppe yet. Sounds like they are mixing the G+ with some bacteria to enhance the antibacterial static properties hence a delay, may be a new breakthrough?
If there was a hit I expected (as posted earlier) Setcar to have a set back but they signed another deal worth 700k recurring for 7 years, a decent vote of confidence. I do think though that they are missing a trick by not using setcar resources for deep clean of Covid 19. But hey! Being greedy!
All in all a decent set of numbers, no surprises and a muted market response thus far. In this environment no surprises is a good result! Need to wait for the market to absorb the numbers.
Just wish we had more liquidity here, SP spikes regularly 8p, it’s all over the place. Atb.

Directa Plus lands innovation award for graphene-based water decontamination technology
“We now provide a full decontamination service in the very large oil and gas sector," the group's chief executive Giulio Cesareo noted
Directa Plus PLC’s (LON:DCTA) revealed that its graphene-based water treatment technology, Grafysorber, has won a notable industry award.
Grafysorber received a Technology Innovation Award 2020 from global consultants Frost & Sullivan.
Frost & Sullivan, in an accompanying report, described Grafysorber as a “remarkable step toward attaining sustainable and cost-effective environmental remediation.”

The product treats water and sludges that are contaminated with hydrocarbons. It is sustainably produced, non-flammable and reusable and, notably, the adsorbed hydrocarbons can be recoverable afterwards.
"Frost & Sullivan research indicates that Directa Plus's Grafysorber is an environmentally friendly solution that addresses issues related to contaminants and organic pollutants and provides a quality answer for onshore and offshore emergency situations,” the consultant said in a statement.
“In addition, Grafysorber's technological features, such as reusability and recyclability of the adsorbed oil, will make it a viable and sustainable solution for mass adoption in the next years."
Directa Plus, meanwhile, pointed out that the technology can be applied in a wide range of industrial processes, from mechanical industry to condensate water produced from air compressors to the treatment water used for storage tank cleaning both onshore and offshore.
Through its subsidiary Setcar SA, the company is presently providing the Grafysorber decontamination service to a number of European based oil and gas companies.
Directa Plus chief executive and founder Giulio Cesareo said: “Following on from the grant of an EU patent for Grafysorber, this award from a worldwide organisation is another welcome endorsement of the significant potential of our G+ technology.
“We now provide a full decontamination service in the very large oil and gas sector through our acquisition last year of a majority interest in Setcar S.A.
“This offer, together with the potential to license the technology, means we are generating more and more traction for our environmental remediation services."

pep = PPE
it's most certainly a very slow mover Trek. This could 10 bag within 18 months , it's gonna be big without a doubt. The only thing that could hold it back is airport runways as no traffic. Roads are huge at the mo with Gvment spending on ifnfrastsruture , masks and pep a bonus for sure. I'll take a 5x but with such low shares in issue i think more is possible.
I don’t get the 10% spread . I have been running dummy trades on ii and it’s been 86 to buy 80 to sell for ages. The google finance price is academic. I thought for a moment we had some liquidity from a seller but that looks to no longer be the case.
