Salvation tony....
Bless you my son, your saved from flames' where your strong buy was sending you, reprieve FOR now -:)
IF 15p totally cleansed, but those in at consolidation high, will dam you...
Hello ITT, 15p could well be an attraction to those long in the tooth who have averaged and see salvation.
However newbies, Johns-Powell, Funds etc who suddenly see CC rising after years would probably be looking at the upside and only hesitate if CC was seen to be running out of new contracts.
Looking at map, not towns, JVVNL is not being put off by the competition, they want RF, probably because it is fast, efficient and early returns. There is a vast opportunity in India coupled with all the surrounding countries and the likes of Bangladesh have visited Indore, so got their interest.. The leading outsider at present is Thailand, we know MEA who has the 2 current contracts has a base of 4m customers and Thailand probably has about 20m. If a couple of other nearby countries are interested then there is always the possibilities of aiming for the £200m Mcap. That is what AIM is about. DYOR
Hi tonyj
As you know, I think that a takeover is the most likely outcome here. Anything above 15p (company value of £27.5M) and Johns-Powell will be in the black, if my calculations are correct.
I would be extremely happy with a takeover well below that price.
That's a bit ironic Fulcrum I thought that was Seawolf and been slanting my comments that way. I remember a Sub putting in money between trips and thinking immune under North Pole just popping for the shocks if they allow comms at sea. Hope you got a chance to bring down average under those circumstances.
Anyway I think anybody who managed to ave 30p. or less should come out ok. If everything takes off now with much reduced monthly costs outlay I think that 50p+ will be in sight.
I had dealings with Comms Officers when in the fire brigade and saw them get excited when a bit of kit, especially underground railway, worked well but they then had to sell it to the Chief.

Very few postings from me tonyj as I have been stuck underwater on a Sub ( & if I'm being honest, I had written off the tens of thousands that I had put in here). Hopefully the patience of the very long suffering Shareholders will be rewarded as you and others have had to put up with quite a few barbs for your belief in this share.
Someone is busy off of our exchange.
Hello fulcrum.. Have not read you for sometime. I waver between takeover/not takeover. I think our larger shareholders are in this in the same spirit as us. They would look for a much higher average and when CC got to that would think there is much more to go and so would be looking for a dramatic offer.
I am not sure how much Itron paid for Silversprings but I should imagine it was substantial.
Future battles will be between GPRS and RF. Costs will be a main factor but equally I would think speed and efficiency. Thailand, on the doorstep of India, has gone for RF and using CC, Bangladesh will probably do likewise. Indore is fully into CC so some states will do likewise. There is enough scope for CC in India I should think, we will know sooner rather than later.
DYOR, not you Fulcrum, LOL
Good afternoon fulcrum,
12.75p is a little closer than it was, with other potential opportunities hopefully available during the year and into 2021. Good luck with your investment and keep taking the " Secret Sauce."
LTI.
I'm 1 of those Long Term CC Shareholders having been invested for 11 years now & bought shares in 14 different tranches (Definitely a case of trying to catch a falling knife!). My biggest fear was that CC would go into administration (or something to that effect) has been greatly reduced over the last 24 hrs. I need a breakeven price of 12.75p which is still a heck of a long way off but I'm more hopeful now of this company coming Good & my realising a profit. The tech obviously works, is gaining increasing traction in India & may very well be on the radar of a major Tech player. I could be hopelessly wrong but I believe that there is a far greater chance that CC would get taken over before it got close to being worth £100m let alone £200m. JC talked some time ago of the Tech being the 'Secret Sauce', I guess we'll see if others view the Tech as being that compelling / worth buying outright which in turn would test the metal of the Board in that how much do they think it is worth? They do have 'Skin in the Game' after all so it depends on how much they feel their efforts are worth. Breaking even would be good enough for me honestly at this stage. I did have multi-bagger dreams many years ago. Now, break even would be a Win!
JC has achieved this product offer through shareholder funding, it's now time to show them a return.
There is a private Co. operating in India, with an incredibly robust AMI tech offer that is poised to land something big I feel. I stand by my thoughts that India will still go large scale volume with GPRS.
Hi LTI
OK. Fair enough.
Hello Inthetin,
The " ..... recognition, acknowledgement or credit ....... " is for the developing of the range of products and solutions, that the Company has now developed. As I think I mentioned in my 11:17 post, which has taken time to develop.
The senior management are also fully aware and recognize the disappointment we all feel, both as management and share-holders, with the share-price performance over the last few years. But the Company and its products/solutions, seems to be progressing to its now potentially more viable position.
LTI
Well ITT, I have mainly invested in main companies like oil and gas and banking in the past. They have had their ups and down.
I was fascinated by Cyan and surprised they had changed over from semi conductors. My other AIM was a company called, I think Ceress, initiated by a University, that this starting to be successful now after about 500 years.
Anyway as Cyan progressed to Cyanconnode one obstacle after another presented itself, big financial question marks because of its Capital size but I am glad I hung in and now, I assume break-even is here and we are up and away.
DYOR
Almost all information I work with is a very long way from this BB. As for BoD being given credit, that will come if they ever deliver on the promise ie £200 Million valuation. Posters that have blindly congratulated, during the years of meltdown, have done no real shareholder any favours whatsoever.
Hi LTI
To be honest, when a company's SP gets decimated by 95% over a number of years, I doubt that management are expecting to receive a lot credit. If they do, then they must be off their rocker.
I'm very happy with my investment in Cyan and confident that I will make a good return. That's all that I'm interested in.
Good morning Inthetin and all.
CyanConnode has kept shareholders and non-shareholders informed on the progress that has been made, with contracts and product development, over the years. So it would be a good idea if new/prospective shareholders, as you say, revisited CyanConnodes RNS's and also their website. As I am sure prospective shareholders will do anyway.
In the 31st March, 2020, Interim Report, CyanConnode give a list of the New Range of Omnimesh Products, along with an Operational Review and Financial Highlights, as well as other Company Specific information.
But there hasn't been much recognition, acknowledgment or credit given by some, to the management of the Company, for developing this better offering/product over the years, that the Company has been building and developing the products/solutions. In my opinion, of course.
But there is plenty of relevant information available, for those who want to read it.
