I'm not getting into banter tonyj, we've done all that. UK is the biggest running contract, by a very long way, and I can assure you it will go nowhere near predicted numbers. CC are saying nothing, for very good reason. 25/30% Notspots are total fiction. 2% is highly optimistic, and Connode appear to have the bat on that.
Remember, this is a huge contract that Cyan 'bought'. The revenue numbers were huge against cost of Connode. Nothing ever made sense, unless you were blinkered, and the end game on this one is now coming at investors.
To cover the delicate, all in my opinion, and opinion of others far closer to the flame than I am.
I haven't been wrong yet, see what CC have to say.
Well Colour at least you are not dead and back with full moaning vigour.
India is a most important market for CC and it's INDORE success could well be the market leader for speed, price, 99%etc competence rate. With the new OPEX financing there could a surge in installs especially from Intellismart.
How are Wirepas progressing, do they make all of their meters in India, they are foreign.
Regarding UK we were told some time ago that Utilities were fitting the easy meters first so CC would be on the end. So the more that get fitted the nearer it comes to CC's tiding up.
The other possibility of course is the market are waking up to the fact CC's largest 'order' to date is producing nothing. The UK Southern contract is rolling fast, CC tech is non existent, and Connode still have 500,000 units to play with. With the very low % installs needing any boost, that 500,000 may well be more than the contract will require anyway. New next gen tech is coming up, CC are saying nothing in any update, and it's all looking very familiar to other failed contracts.
Good morning jake,
We are of a similar opinion, at least as far as foreign holidays are concerned. But you did ask for " ..... Any ideas ....," so I provided some options, that are different to the ones you provided.
But there are others.
LTI.
Guess time will tell LTI. As far as holidays other than the UK goes I have written off next year as well. There is no way I could do an 8 to 12 hour flight wearing a mask! Watching and waiting on more than one front lol.
13 trades is correct Colour. However they are not just Ordinary trades.
Look carefully, to me manipulation.
Will probably shoot up to 17p+ upon good news.
DYOR
That's derived from 13 trades.
Good evening all,
In reply to your 15:57 post today jake, there are some investors that are probably happy to cash in their share-holding and to take the opportunity to have a holiday on their profits, now that they can have a holiday. Or even to put down a deposite for next years holiday. Or even to start shopping early for Christmas.
There are many reasons why investors sell. And many reasons why investors buy.
LTI.
Hello Colour/jake.. Nice to see Colour back, I thought he had been locked up, LOL.
jake I don't think there is too much to worry about, these were not straight forward 'O' deals, is this engineering.
LTI's last Post covered general position of CC. There are probably many deals going on behind the scenes.
I think CC is about to takeoff and will no doubt hear shortly.
After this short break in transmission Colour, doom and gloom reinstated, enjoy the moment.
DYOR
Hi Colour. Looks like my 16p share price forecast for Xmas is way out lol.
It worries me when what appeared on the face of it seemed a reasonably positive trading update sees the share price drop.
I've always taken trading updates with a little pinch of salt as they are usually retrospective and the price built in. Orders I think are the only thing that will move the SP now.
Have a good weekend, at least there's the footie to keep us entertained
Think it's a simple case of realisation jake. This was, and still is in my view, well over valued. I've been giving time recently to CEO's heading real businesses. Landing what they say they will, and in most cases far far more. Joke is, most of them earn less than yours truly. Sad but true.
Good weekend all, next week it's all going to happen !!
Around 25% drop in share price despite the perceived upbeat trading update? Any ideas? Manipulation or a nasty surprise on the way?
