Harworth Estates has performed strongly in its first year of trading as an independent property development company. Net assets increased to GBP235m (2012: GBP222m) on a property portfolio value of GBP278m (2012: GBP260m). A return of GBP33m was delivered on the opening property portfolio of GBP260m, with GBP24.5m from increases in valuation at year end, GBP8.3m by way of profit on its GBP19m of asset sales in the year, and GBP1.4m from operating activities.
NAV 9.1p and only going to get better as we develop plots ;-)

The new airport link road from the motorway network to the south of Doncaster will unlock a range of projects which will drive inward investment, create thousands of jobs and boost the regional economy. The Doncaster Council-led project will support expansion plans at Robin Hood Airport and the new Enterprise Zone. It will also see Harworth Estates build 1,200 homes on the former Rossington Colliery Site and allow the Rossington iPort – a strategic rail freight interchange – to get up and running. Doncaster mayor Ros Jones said: “This important regeneration project is progressing well and the start of the tie-in works to existing motorway network is a major construction milestone. This new link road is instrumental to my economic growth plans for the borough and those of the wider Sheffield City Region.”

As former coal mines, many of sites have existing connections to the National Grid, making solar power relatively simple to install. In collaboration with development partner Re-Fin Solar and Juwi, Harworth Estates is working on four ground-mounted solar projects at former collieries which will collectively deliver more than 35MW once installed: Welbeck – 12MW (Planning Consented); Bilsthorpe – 10MW (Pending Planning Decision); Gedling – 5MW (Pending Planning Decision); and Askern – 5MW (Planning application being worked up). We have also identified a further tranche of projects able to deliver 50MW and are in discussions with several prospective development partners to take the projects forward

We taking the sites through the planning and environmental permitting stages with the view to bringing the sites to fruition between 2012 and 2016. The joint venture partnership helps drive waste up the waste framework directive and reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. yeah Like I said we all go to sleep zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and forget the detail. food for though, typical former colliery goes for £6-£10 Mill we have an amazing number of fully developed sites & tie ups with Peel no way Harworth can be worth less than £200 Mill gotta be 2-400 its a big player now.... Yikes only a week..... Ps come on Frontera, bloody hell now theres a Stock that will me us fall asleep Can you believe we are both still in at CRES & FRR..... must have Rhino Skin

It apeareth that I hath made myself look stupid , The annual results are indeed due for release at the end March 2014 , apologies for being incorrect .. however getting a tiny bit excited for a up serge in SP on release , still predicting 8p but like your estimate of 20p better ,, here's hoping Skeggy tomorrow yipeeee cant control the emotions !!!!!!

final reminder Coalfield Resources is pleased to issue its Interim Management Statement for the period 30 June to 12 November 2013. During the period the Company successfully completed a rights issue raising £6m from the issue of 299,298,160 new shares. 86.69% of the new shares were taken up under the terms of the rights issue by eligible existing shareholders; pursuant to the rump placing, a further 12.48% were acquired by existing shareholders and 0.83% were acquired by new shareholders. This meant that existing shareholders acquired 99.17% of the available new shares. We wish to thank all our shareholders for their continued support of the Company. Following the rights issue the Company has repaid its short term loan facility from Lloyds and is now debt free.
