Will soon be down to the 28p open offer , or less !!!!!!
52 week low is 28.5p just saying..
here is your chance.....................
Another hurdle to the implementation of its company voluntary arrangement has been cleared after the challenge period ended with none made. Carpetright began a share placing earlier in May, looking to raise 60.0 million, and the full implementation of the CVA is now solely conditional on this being completed. The general meeting to approve the placing and open offer is to be held on Wednesday next week. Carpetright in mid-April said it would shut 92 stores as part of its CVA, and also announced at that time a plan to raise approximately the new equity. Later that month it avoided administration as creditors approved the CVA.
Look at mothercare. Got 1 star on trustpilot and is still up nearly 100% over the last few weeks thanks to their restructuring. Carpetright actually got a a suprisingly good Trustpilot score despite the rumors of bad customer service on other review sites.
who will be taking up their option of the sub share placing
God this forum is full of morons. Good luck all!
yes a good day,the haters on here are getting a bit boring
A good day thus far. Best of All
Plenty of upside at carpetright . Now funding is in place ,can profit be just around the corner . In about two years , maybe. Best of All
CPR offers an attractive upside for investors if CVA and RI are executed. CPR's international and core UK operations are profit making with possible earnings at a very low PE ratio compared to present market cap. Meditor as main shareholder apparently shares a more optimistic outlook and has raised its stake considerably over the last months.
Qualifying Shareholders who are not eligible to or do not take up any of their entitlements in respect of the Open Offer will experience a dilution of approximately 76.5 per cent. of their interests in the Company as a result of the Placing and Open Offer.
Wow, Placing and Open Offer of 232,463,221 New Ordinary Shares at 28p when we currently have 71m shares on issue. We all know that means the normal sp price will drop to about 28p I guess this is the only way forward, but we all know what's going to happen next. There will be a consolidation of shares x 10 and hoping to push up the sp to 2.80 ish but that will never happen and the sp will drop to maybe 1.70 - 2.30. So I will wait before buying in .

priced above market price - that's how stupid these people are arranging these deals
CPRT were in a strong position with Mediator as a 30% shareholder plus the 12m loan and should have called their bluff for a more generous deal .They have a lot to lose They seem to have forgotten customer's 's confidence is shattered. My local store looks deserted
Goodness, talk about being over a barrel yes 18% interest plus costs plus the y need 60m that's twice the MC . This company is going to be in debt for the next 10+ years, is it really worth saving. Surely someone should buy it out now for 5 and cover the debt.
Someone call amigo loans!!!!
Lender of last resort. Cheap finance!!! 18% pa. 15% arrangement fee !
Still to come !
Wow the epic code for this retailer really is ironic....get it to re-sus...blue lights!!
Is he working for expenses or still taking that 800k+ salary? Silly question, I guess.
For carpet fitters . Best of All
Carpets will always be with us as long as people want to stay warm and fraught free. Carpets are one of the greatest sound insulators and sound deafeners. I like many others prefer the carpet to the cold noisy draughty home. I do not hold shares in any carpet stock for information. Just so as not to be classed as a ramper, just a simple realist.
Easter trading period must have been better than expected.
