Is it now too late to join the class action group?
TIA
TC
Angus. If you’ve not signed up as M Cotters client then you won’t get the settlement.
Or you can join up to another group court case that absolutely nobody Inc hnw people has heard of but my dads, mates, cousins drinking partner knows of.
Cheers Rodney great that this is now coming together and many thanks to all involved for sorting this out, it’s very much appreciated by me, I’m planning to watch the zoom call Thursday when I get chance but by the comments today all looks good
Angusscott.
MC stated, in the answer to that question, that very few cases went to court when the evidence against them was so strong. He had no guarantees but the aim is to make a case so strong that we are successful at the class action phase. So fingers crossed.
Many thanks Ryan,
Your interpretation of my opinion reads well to me. Of course, none of us know what will happen - we really don't. But we have done so much research - perhaps hundreds or even thousands of hours between us over the last few months. And just like getting fit, we are starting to see results. We must continue to work hard and together. We have done this so far which is why we now have options. For those of you who attended, who could not be impressed with the performance of Michael Cotter? Sincere, humble and talented. For those of you who did not attend, please accept Mr Cotter's invitation to further presentations later this week. We have to remember that we are going into the Class Action phase now so please be careful with your words and actions - look after your fellow COPL shareholder as well as yourselves. All the best Ryan.
Any chance of this settling before this gets to court because I don’t really have the extra cash to pay more I have just under 3 million shares
To a degree this BB and thread is largely obsolete now so who gives a fcuk what people are and who they are trying to convince RBM.
MC is moving this forward and that’s all I need to know and be a part of.
The rest is just banter and bollex to be honest.
It’ll get interesting on here as certain people see that it’s now started, it’s real.
But also amusing.
Why, whats your point
Well thanks letting us know that your gaffers mate told him there is another court case, so there's no point joining this one.
yes bodly why is that so amazing ?
i read it but have never joined, was a complete novice at this game, got involved during covid, did quite well with various big companies like bp, shell, rolls royce etc but sold every single one to pool all my money into this cess pit, dont be suspicious of everyone who only post now, as mentioned i am a novice and know jack **** about all this, so have learnt a lot from reading these boards
You have been reading this board everyday for two years but only decided to create an account and post today?
Summit will not give anything to anybody unless they have to. That's not how big business works. Hopefully they are one of the many targets.
Hopefully Arthur will be down the line so he won’t even get to see the fruits of his hard earned lying, thieving, scheming scull duggering.
The only other question i have would be is there other court cases going on ?
Reason i say this my gaffer (who was the one who told me about COPL a couple of years ago) has a stake similar to me 30k + but he is never on this chat room, where i think i have read it every night before bed bar about 2 days since i bought (sad i know), and therefore was not aware off the CAG untill i told him, now he has some pretty wealthy mates who i know one of has a big stake in COPL, but when i told him to sign up to this his mate told him there was already a court case on going so no need to get involved in this.
i'm pretty sure i want to get involved but just airing what he told me, does it make any sense ?
I think what Rodney has said previously in his opinion is that Summit have taken this route out of necessity not greed to get Anavio out of the picture. What they then do with those assets is up to them but if they’re worth what we think then it will not be a good look for them if they sell them and pocket all the cash. Therefore we have some hope that summit may look after the small pi who have been shafted in all this. Either way we crack on with the class action which gives us two chances, anything else will be a bonus. Plus if Arthur still owns stock would he not want something from all this, as it stands I don’t see how he benefits ? Anavio may own stock but summit have the discretion to potentially cut them out ? Correct me if I’m not reading this right rodney.
Worth the while in its entirety - I think MC really fancies a crack at this. I get that impression anyway.
Yes, I timed it at 45 minutes but there was as Finwittrader says, some initial delay while he ensured everyone had their cameras switched off.
Muchos gracius Lloydy
Stoned. 30 mins ish.
It ran over today as poor MC had to spend ten minutes asking people to turn off their cameras for data protection reasons as the call was being recorded. It was a proper cat herding session….
About an hour I’d say.
"Not sure people are trying to create confusion, think it’s just people being naturally cautious after being put through the wringer the last several years!"
Everyone involved that put all this together and got Michael on board really can't thank enough. It's been going on into the years but the last six months especially has been hell. Today has given me a big lift mentally, all the shenanigans that's gone before us and the pace it's all happened it's been hammer blow after blow. Just having someone in your corner and getting on that road like i say has given me a big boost. I really hope these crooks get whats coming to them! I'd sooner do everything i could and go down fighting else what is the alternative?
Can I just ask how long the zoom call lasts, just trying to work out if I can skive off working it's only half hour long or try and get home for tea final one on Thu
Thanks in advance

MC made it clear they are going after individuals or certain groups (anavio). Correct me if I’m wrong but to me, that indicates he is going after losses only, plus the fact that Summit have been awarded the assets in court with their credit bid so the assets are gone. If all that can be undone then happy days and that would be a cherry on the cake but not sure that’s even possible, maybe MC can clarify in his next zoom..
It is a binding Order of the Court with no right of Appeal. This does not stop other charges and Court procedures of course.
