Indeed we don't hence why our shares are currently valued at 5p-6p a share. However what we do know is:
- that we have deferred rent for the period March-June
- have/are benefitting from business rates relief
- have furloughed a majority of staff
- that our directors have taken 'significant' pay cuts
- that we have a very strong balance sheet
- and that our Directors are seemingly very confident about our prospects
Given the above, I'm prepared to speculate that our cash balance remains comparatively healthy and that there is a significant upside to our current share price.
Good luck and as always DYOR
We don’t know the financial impact of the closer period and agreements regarding lease costs or cash burn. Great company but remember the the lost revenues albeit with takeaway at some places.
All looking great for a run to 10p at least here. Low free float so very hard to buy anything so grab the chances when they pop up!
Hey MM - I just have Level 2 on here (LSE) which shows you live trades and bid/ask of the various market makers.
Mandoo how do u know about MM buys? Do u have access to advfn. I would like to get hold of this info myself for future trading. Regards
All about the market cap here. Should by nearer £20m (and arguably higher) upon reopening. That's 16p a share. Suspect we'll see the big rise just prior to 4th July when the reopening RNS lands.
Up 30%+ again today so far, at this rate won't be long before we get to the Directors buy in of 10p. Would be nice to see this before re-opening, then onwards to pass the previous high of 16p in May last year.
Double figures still be cheap. Directors in at 10p just before covid . So expect value
This should go much higher today. Only one MM left on 5.5p ask the other 4 now on 6p or 6.25p respectively.
Currently valued at cash or thereabouts and the 'brand' alone must be worth £20m-£30m. Expecting an RNS confirming 'reopening' imminently.
Good luck and as always DYOR.
Looking at the current SP and where it was 3 months ago this is a real bargain. The fact Directors we’re buying 10p+ just a few months says it all. Tiny free float too means it will fly when stock gets less available. Filled my boots this morning. Watch this climb substantially over the next few weeks.
66.5% of shares held by directors and a further 18.6% by significant shareholders so free float is potentially circa 14.9% which equates to only 18.3m shares., hence why it moves very quickly with any buying pressure.
Boris has just given the green light for restaurants to open from 4th July! This could 10 bag from here and still be dirt cheap.
Yep. Really well run business and I'd imagine they still have £3m-£4m still in cash (was £5.1m at year end). Directors buying at 10p pre-covid, so would imagine we'll be trading in the 10p-15p range again soon.
up 33% I mean.
As I look now over 30% up so far today.
Seems the news of re-opening has put some life into this. I took a chance on this a few weeks ago as they had enough cash to see the crisis out, I did the same with RTN, and am very happy that both will be at least double the current SP in a few months (or less hopefully)
Volume well up, many more buys than sells, massively undervalued, this will re-rate very soon.
Is it because restaurants are closed? I know they have been doing takeaways so hopefully got some profit from that. Hoping this will go up soon but I have been saying that for a while now
Who’s selling now

The sp of Comtoir has rising sharply in the last 10 days, mainly because Chaker Hanna recently purchased nearly £5 million worth of shares.
The recent accounts were reasonably solid.
Has any body got views on Comtoir - is this a long term hold.
Look forward to hear from fellow investors
Totally agree the restaurants are at site with a heavy footfall. Comtior is certainly a more than reasonable investment
ATB
Seem OK. They seem to be choosing locations that are less affected than the general high street apocalypse zones.
Good morning TR Smyth,
I have just seen your postings, however last week I telephoned the CFO of Comtoirand asked when the accounts would be filed --- the answer was 9th April, so a five day cycle.
Here's hoping
