DH Has spent well over a decade, working with YLB, the government and the locals getting to where we are today, he knows YLB, how they work and how they operate, he,s been to the EU/companies to sort finance, and a patented DLE system, hes done everything possible, to make sure hes got it right, hes certainly not going to fall at the last hurdle
Fair point eagle eye and you are correct .
However just to play devils advocate DH has 15 years plus experience of working in Iraq, building strong connections with people in the Iraqi ministry, local populations etc. he has had many many trips there, worked on technical proposals, actually had a senior Iraqi on the board at petrel and was ‘guaranteed to be awarded an Iraqi license’ last week.
What happened? Nothing. Petrel were awarded nothing at all and so looks like 25 years of a complete waste to time in Iraq.
Hopefully this will be different and just to be clear there will not be a significant SP change with phase 3 or 4. Clon MUST be awarded the contract for all 7 locations in order for this to be game changing.
If not then it’s another failure they can add to their collection.
Blimy pauly, why all 7 locations? 1 will be a gamechanger, 7 will be megaverse and very nice indeed, although our system may well be have to used in all 7.
As for PET, which yes I am a holder, did you really expect DH to bid on a contract that wasn't viable ? Its not all over for PET but your right it maybe a while yet,
Sorry just to say , is PET being confused with CLON? They are different outfits in different territories. I too am very happy to draw comparisons with other companies that have succeeded, if only to draw an entirely pointless parallel.
To be clear pauly what I'm saying is that you know Fck all presenting as though you do. You don't know how the SP will react at Phase 3, 4 or 40. No one does.
Eagleyez - excuse my typos. I was meant to say that CLON must be awarded more than 1 contract for it to be game changing. I hear your point about 1 being potentially game changing but if we want the sp to really rise and for long term investors to be rewarded where some bought in at 1 pence, two contracts would help make that possible.
With regards to your point about viability - DH has often talked about having a great relationship with the Iraqi ministry and recently they received feedback and advice regrading their proposals and were
Going to make the necessary adjustments . After 25 years of working with the Iraqi’s i am sure they would have realised many many years ago about the viability of proposals instead of waiting now. My point is that DH has some serious flaws and not a successful track record.
Francky - your name appears familiar. I think you may have posted some time back and am pretty sure your annoyed some other posters who made negative comments and you then you disappeared until now.
I am not here for petty arguments and provoking people so will not give you that opportunity. However PET and CLON are not two completely different companies. Both run out of Clontarf and have DH at the helm. The point I am making is that DH has not had a successful career to date. He may have visited many countries, attended some senior meetings and boasts about excellent relationships with governments like Iraq and Bolivia and Ghana. So far it ‘appears’ that may be correct for Bolivia (we will truly know the answer on August 2nd) but so far it has meant diddly squat in Iraq and Ghana .
Never assume anything with DH. When he has nothing to hide he emails responses to shareholders quickly. When he is hiding something he refuses to answer at all
I think I've only annoyed you Pauly in fairness and I don't post on whether the stock rises or falls like a doom circle commentator reporting on the general vibe the days trading brings. I just think everything you say is so niaive and kid like that you don't seem able to self-edit the nonsense you spout. I m sure its annoying having that played back.
Paul..I appreciate where you’re coming from and agree investors should look at passed performance of the management/CEO though I like to add Iraq currently is one of the most corrupt officials and government since 2003 so it’s not quite the same as Bolivia.
Let’s hope this time Clon is successful and so far so good and not long to wait for further news..
