Hey San, your average is great and one you will probably be best off to let run, im sure you will be rewarded big style after ratification and a partner is disclosed.. Hang on to this one imo... it can move like a beast when the time is right.
I can now but I'm not paying 0.6997!!!
LOL - yeah I just did a small 30k to test... maybe we should stop artificially inflating the SP to prove the point :-)
Me too...just bought 100k shares just to test. Went through no problem
I use share.com and it's been going to 'order not placed' every time - I started with £2000 then dropped to £1000 then £500 and couldn't get a quote?
Hes is telling the truth I managed to top up as well without any issues.
Well I can't even buy £100 worth at the moment!
Amers, even on a faceless bulletin board, I would never pick an argument with a poster who has the moniker 'MassiveRay'!
Just saying.
Tex
MassiveRay - I am sorry for doubting your buy, it must be the issue with IG that, I couldn't buy. Never mind I have manage to get just over 185K shares. Once again sorry
*amers
Amersham I see a buy just over £2.5k I suspect that to be Massiverays he is genuine and as he posted that the buy came through!
MassiveRay - took £2.5k final top up
Please Please try and be honest when you post. I have been trying all morning to top up in batches of £500 worth, without any luck. Only God knows, if you are telly the TRUTH, that is if you know what truth is...
Risendshine, I know exactly what you mean and I feel the party is just getting started here and worry if I sell I’ll be paying more than what I sell at and doubt unless ratification doesn’t come we’ll see the 0.42p level again I could be wrong if everyone is buying for 10-20% profit it’s a hard one to call but if what freeshare says about the meetings is genuine then now is really not the time to be selling anything, I lost big time on EUA and don’t fancy missing out here as well! This is a hard one to trade with the spread being anywhere from 7-14%
That's a great question Sam and one I am wrestling with myself. I have in the past been top slicing then working my average back down as the SP fell but now I am thinking that the next anticipation is going to rise till its short term conclusion and therefore I have fallen into doubt in regard to being able to regain a low average after top slicing...what to do??? It's a tough one which I find difficult to call. If it goes above 1.5 without news I might take a couple of k out just to make me feel good :) otherwise I'm in till conclusion of ratification. It's a tinderbox though and wont take much of a spark to light the fuse on a spike ... GL to U though ;)
Risendshine at what point do you think it’s worth taking profit if no news comes to buy in again lower or am I better off just holding onto all my shares now I managed to get a good average?
Last time anticipation took this to 1.9p and that was just the passing of the insolvency bill which had regard to restoration of the lost acreage. Is anticipation now building towards ratification and where will just that anticipation take us, let alone the big one!! :)
took £2.5k final top up
Probably a fair amount of PI that are aware of the story here as its taken so long to get to this position pending ratification - soon more could be investing as all aspects are in place for PA approval, with the original NPP govt back in power who granted the CLON Licence and with a drive for production and transparency.
Insolvency act passing will assist the CLON position substantially during the forthcoming discussions, as this cant be used as an excuse now for delay on PA approval by Ghana officials.
The most encouraging aspect is agreement with GNPC on approach and then CLON pulling legal challenge, if GNPC were difficult and not prepared to do a deal , then it would not get past them, they were the first and largest domino in the series.
After that, is just bureaucracy, each official in the process asking the one below, are you happy with this PA application and its detail? if answer yes then they normally approve and move it onto the higher authority to process:
RNS Sep 20th 2019
"Two official bodies are reviewing dormant and pending petroleum agreements in Ghana: the Ministry of Energy and the National Petroleum Commission. " So Ministry approves, then NPC and then ultimately the president signs.
Perhaps CLON talks planned are with some energy ministry officials or that stage passed and they have moved onto the politicians on the National Petroleum Commission in parliament.
Either way, its moving forward , pivotal news could be within weeks.
Now my average of 0.425p doesn’t looks too bad!!
Ratification is NOT priced in no - go back to last Dec when it appeared to be getting close...we zoomed to 1.95 in anticipation of ratification taking well clear to 4-5 SP and a multi-bag option given the ramifications of ratification.....
So the rocket is priming.....when it goes, it will be back to +2 in about 30 minutes I suspect....if not quicker than you can make a cuppa....so this is an excellent BUY in advance of ratification - which has been passed, but not yet signed off at Presidential level - but will be
There are a couple of plays here and at £4m I don't see massive downside IMO, it might just take longer than hoped on the Ghana play.
Lithium isn't a bad backup to have! Especially given the high grade potential and high purity level which should make it applicable for lithium iron batteries for electric cars etc. 3 years exploration work for £1m and then China JV ???
Tex
Worst case ratification doesn’t get achieved I don’t see us falling that much as it’s not priced in atm imo or is it?
Few punts coming in.
£4m market cap shows a market assumption is that ratification won't be achieved. Huge upside from here if we can get ratification through... exciting times. Great video Bridges posted https://youtu.be/Cm1mDihuEXQ
Tex
Make that 2 x 1m buys
Lovely 1m buy just showed up at 0.545. I just tried to get a LP with dummy trades but couldn’t get one for £2000, £1000 then £500. Another order being filled perhaps?
