Anyone notice the short positions held by a couple of funds... seem rather high vs other companies ... anyone feel nervous about this?
With the Fed’s actions in America. I expect more money to go into buying recovery stocks like Cineworld and out of tech stocks again.
yep I feel nervous for them !
The last year has shown us one thing about these shorters... they are clueless... it’s obvious cinemas are going to reopen and win! When these shorts close at a massive loss it’s win win! The share price will rise and they lose money! Excellent!
has anyone found out how the opening in New York went ?
forget shorters they are just an itch now ! JWD222 getting ahead of yourself aint you ?
They won’t pay dividends too high in debt and don’t rule out another lockdown in winter boys.
Jwd. I'll be in the Bahamas in the winter with Cine profited. But thank you.
Z. Morning. These posters aren't even a nuisance at this stage. They are irrelevant and their duty is one of two things:
1.influence experts (lol) from Motley Idiots to write about general sentiment.
2. Keep SP down. PI's aren't shorting. Trader X is shorting at £2 per point circa.
Who knows why these chaps post.
Every adult in the UK will be offered a vaccine by the end of June, the country is opening up not locking down numb nuts so yes I think I will rule it out.
Jwdd:
It’s not all about dividends.... there is something called capital growth !
What at bell!
Z. They get paid a flat fee for a period.
Either to help shorters or keep SP down.
SP down has benefits for big buyers. Just like us, it's all about when their £££ is available.
Here's how we/some benefitted. I saw IDW etc working on behalf of Jangho and not a shorting firm. Even after they left..we had 6.1% on shorts but Jangho had increased. My bigger lump sum went in at mid 40's whereas my initial entry was at 35p. Not skill but gut instincts.
Z. Posts by IDW were written by intelligent people BTW. The name of poster was irrelevant but context did its job. It did create some doubt. We can't stop them. The posts today are from chaps with over weight wives. They've had to wake up early.
You’d think if they’re seriously attempting to scare people/bring prices down they’ll at least try and discuss something relevant rather than randomly state there’s not going to be dividends for a while (like most other stocks currently!).
I wrote an email to motley thanking them for all the good advice over the past last year. I pointed out i have made over 6 figures by doing the complete opposite to what they advised. I am so happy with their service. lol
They actually state in the small print that the army of opinion pieces we get to read don't constitute investment advice and to get their real advice we need to pay a subscription lol scam if I've ever seen one.
I will swap a 5% annual dividend every single time for a 100 - 300% growth in share price every single time I can find myself faced with that decision thanks :-)
IDW did not make any grammatical errors on his posts, if I remember correctly.
The guys I've met at that level in business, do not post here. Why would they? Only time that IDW slipped was when he had to reply sharply. Rest were copy and pastes from an email.
Shamus (correct name?) was different and low end. Used 2 different accounts as he replied to himself by mistake but hadn't switched accounts. Numpty.
Z: On a brighter note and hopefully a cheeky rise to 118p soon..no room sharing for our party.
On a serious note..please can we make an effort. No Asda George jeans in bright blue for £6 please Sammy.
@Robin
I can’t remember the exact incident but you’re absolutely bang on there. I remember there was one time (at bank camp) he responded quickly to me after I was trying to get him to break and I thought there and then that he ballsed up as it wasn’t his usual grammatical style and there was a ‘personality’ behind the user for the first time. It was like it was a completely different person posting. But there was never any swear filter evasion, no argumentation or anything to put him at risk of getting banned until we finally got him on trolling with the repetitive copy and pasted posts.
I’ll be first to admit he was a tough one to crack. Incredibly calculated, he must have definitely been one the top earners of his paymasters, at least 3p a post I reckon...
