Bond is already doing marketing
Max Los Angeles reopening would be good but if it mirrors Californian states the maximum capacity will be 25%.
Even with openings what you need to do is get people back into the cinemas. Even films that were expected to gross large amounts, like Tenet, are not pulling in the crowds. If what the Mail is saying is correct regarding the weekends viewing figures then your lesser films are showing to virtually empty cinemas.
I don't think it will be too long before we get news of further postponement and think the James Bond film will delay to next year.
Hopefully those preserving capital banked on the rise back up to 44p.
It is hard to see where the next good news is coming from
"that will never happen as country cannot afford it !!"
Couldn't afford the first one either. Couldn't afford to pay people to eat out. Still happened though. The lunatics are running the asylum and you have to base your decisions around that.
Max
I agree. No worries here for me.
Market is pricing in a 2nd lockdown - that will never happen as country cannot afford it !!
The figures regarding Covid cases in Los Angeles County are looking very good and it is expected that they will be moving to the second tier (which means indoor cinemas can open!) October is just two weeks away. That coupled with the fact that the large counties Orange County and San Diego County can already open their indoor cinemas is a very good sign for Cineworld.
Besides that expectations are very high that New York Governor Cuomo will be allowing the opening of all New York state movie theatres very soon He legally cannot hold off the opening any longer. Its a matter of a few weeks but maybe even days before the very essential New York state opens cinemas.
All in all things are look much beter for Cineworld now than they were during the second quarter (april may etc.) There is therefore absolutely no factual basis for this share to fall in price now. Its just the general negative market mood and of course panic sellers and the market manipulating of this particular share at the moment.
Let the shorting crooks and Wolf of Wall street type Morgan Stanley dikheds have their crooked gamble and then lets see what the share price does between the 24th of september and Christmas 2020.
I will be very very curious as to what the share price is then but considering all the positive facts going on now (Largest markets in USA opening VERY SOON!, Only local lockdowns and never complete lockdowns!, Allways present takeover possibility by large Movie studio and an international space race like attempt to get to the Covid vaccine (moon!) plus the financial failure of the Disney direct to VOD for Mulan all point to a very good climate for the Cineworld share price rise to happen in the last quarter of 2020.
Good times for the hangers on and faithfull
I wanted to wait before coming back to the BB but I just could not resist posting something based on actual facts and not all the crapp that is being spread here by the lousy lowdown derampers (idiots and gamblers like Shamus12 and his twat friends!)
I would love to see their scroungy little kid faces around Christmas time 2020 when the share price is back to 2 pounds a share!
