@HNS_77 you can use this link to only display the photos showing Barbara:

Sounds like corruption to me, thanks HNS, Mountainous great investigation skills.
Let's hope people sit up and listen to this as it could get court settlement thrown out and hopefully Barbara struck off. Would love to read this in the newspapers.
@HNS OH MY GOD I cant believe what you have written here. Some of these comments Begger Belief. FFS.
@HNS, you may also wish to copy in Scott Brooker (Company Secretary). He has a direct way of getting things to Mooky, so I think we can be sure that it will be directed to the right person.
Scott.brooker@cineworld.co.uk
Ashley Steel also was very receptive at the AGM, perhaps that could be an option too. Don’t know her email, but judging by the format seen previously it may be Ashley.steel@cineworld.co.uk
There is also Mooky.greidinger@cineworld.co.uk , no clue if it would actually reach him, perhaps he has his email set to only allow internal emails. But I think Scott is a good entry point for us.
Thank you @RS, @HNS has done the vast majority of the investigative work here.
@forest and @lpd, I think if she did claim conflict of interest, then any fair court with common sense would not allow her to rule on that case. So either she didn’t claim it (corruption) or she did claim it and the court decided to allow it to happen with vast conflict of interest present (also corruption).
All in my opinion, but looks like there is a big case to make of it either way.
I think HNS_77 that if all you are saying is correct then you need to making contact with IR and for this to be brought to the attention of The Board of Directors. That and or probably getting in touch with an investigative journalist at one of the quality newspapers. Times / Telegraph. If you watched the trial there was also a very cosy Queensway deal worked out with the meeting held in either Sonshine or Ellis's apartment. These because of their very nature you are meant to pay particular attention to. Probably skipped over in the judgement.
Well done HNS , great find , I’m sure once the conflict of interest ( mixing in the circles ) of the claimants comes out , she is fooked , & the decision will be thrown out :-)
This is great investigative work, HNS/Mountainous.
Thank you for compiling this and sharing it with the CINE legal team/investor relations.
As others have stated, I am hopeful that CINEs legal team have done their due diligence and are aware of these findings but nothing can be taken for granted following the absurd judgement awarded in favour of loss synergies for Cineplex that would never exist.
Great stuff @HNS, thank you for that. This could be big potentially.
Ok final nail in the coffin coming up and it’s a bloody big one
Remember this all started with Phyills Yaffe
The article below details a private “pre gala meeting” hosted by Phyllis’s (chair of cineplex board) attended by David Mirvish
This took place at her home before the big gala event
So there we have it - A man with direct links to top Cineplex board who is married to the sister of Richard Conway who acts as a spokesperson in his affairs and is married to Judge Barbara Conway
Thanks mountainous - so between you and bb covering off the communications with Cine I will contact the Cine lawyers with our dossier of information - if this is already know and she made a declaration of conflict that was accepted then so be it but at least we have done our bit to highlight what looks very inappropriate to say the least
@Alex, precisely that as well. The entire thing looks extremely cosy, this could be big.
Either we forward this to Scott or we could also kick up a fuss about it in the media ‘UK’s largest cinema chain targeted by biased judge’ (as our media enjoys sensationalist headlines). That alone could push Cineplex/Cineworld or the court to take action if it goes into mainstream.
With this such closeness of circles, (which surely can't be down to coincidence), surely K2 has to fit in there somewhere also. You know, that Canadian firm, based in Toronto, with a really well timed short like the day before the judgment release?
Fishy.
Ok I think I have now established the link
[deep breath]
The link below shows an obituary for a David Hilliard Conway. He was survived by Audrey Conway ( who became Mirvish) and Richard Conway ( who married Barbara and she took his name)
So now we have established the clear family link between a powerful media and entertainment mogul and lobbyist with social links with Cineplex execs and a judge who was responsible for the judgement against Cineworld

@HNS, huge well done to you for doing all of the digging to find this. In my opinion, CINE could have a very solid case for potential conflict of interest with all of that, there are at least 3 connections in there. We also now know that Barbara was indirectly connected up to the CEO through the connections.
And HNS, I would follow @lpd’s advice and screenshot if you can before it all goes ‘missing’…
@sammy Thanks for confirming that he is indeed her husband - doesn’t pass the sniff test does it
i wonder if any newspapers/journalists would be interested in digging into this story
https://www.sibliquidation.com/homepage/ontario-court-dismisses-sibs-claim-against-td-bank/
@blue Buxton , the things about her obvious conflict of interest I posted just now should go in
That article truth is water I think muddies the waters as it could be dismissed as a disgruntled person on the losing side of a case
What cannot be denied is a clear family link between Barbara and those with social and possibly even business ties with Cineplex executives
https://financialpost.com/news/dare-heiress-put-her-own-interests-ahead-of-those-of-the-corporation-judge-says-dismissing-lawsuit
Old babs is a scream eh
Wow, remarkable corruption and hubris it seems. How is this allowed in Canada? This stuff you expect happens in countries like Russia but Canada? Crikey. I hope Cine lawyers are onto this.
Any such links you would expect would have had to be declared and another totally independent judge should have been appointed.
I'd make sure you screen shot and save all you have on this before forwarding just in case it disappears.
HNS, I were digging on him last night, early hours .
Partner in Binnington lawyers .
Yes, Richard A Conway is the hubby of our babs con away .
And here it is folks the crowning glory
Our good friend Salah bachir mentioned in this 2022 article in which none other the ELLIS JACOB CEO OF CINEPLEX was thanked for 16 years service
So let’s put this together a high profile Exec for Cineplex who is close friends with David Mirvish and who’s brother in law is none other then Richard Conway the husband of Barbara Conway
https://piano.playbackonline.ca/2022/01/13/salah-bachir-leaves-cineplex-media/
It gets even better
Barbara is pictured here with Richard Conway - I am assuming they are married with the same name?
https://www.patrickmcmullan.com/events/5b3ef4dd9f92906676444a8b/
Richard Conway is mentioned in this article as lawyer and Brother in law to the aforementioned David Mirvis - yes that’s same theatre production moguls who has direct social links with past members of the Cineplex subsidiary
