Lloyd, most of us got in and the SP dropped
...to 16 bl00dy pence....
Thank you for your response Robin.. So your saying I shouldn't matter about the price I enter at as I believe I'm going to make a profit either way? That makes a lot more sense - knowing my luck I'll get in tomorrow and the SP will drop.. Just brought Zom today with half the profit I made from Cine
Lloyd, I can't understand how you would turn almost certain profit down to be in another share. This is not going sub £1 from here when so close to opening.
Lloyd. Sorry you didn't get a reply last night. But trying to get in 4p cheaper doesn't make sense. Surely you pay the current SP but sell correctly?? Make the 4p up???
I left at 100 - Bad decision but I said to myself I had an exit point of £1. Am I jealous sure am; but nice to see the Cineboard doing so well..
I wanna jump back in but it will only be for 0.20 - 0.40 profit per share if I jumped in but like I said to re-enter would like to get in under a £1.
I won't be leaving before 200!
Gordo,
This is the Hotel California of shares. You can check out but you can never leave.
Well done all for ignoring the lowlifes and sticking with Cine.
I remember the news breaking over the weekend before our record drop, really scary times and thinking to myself a profit is a profit, I should have bailed. In the same breathe when you believe logically there is more road to recovery still to travel, it’s hard to end the journey early before arriving at the destination you deserve. Plus when I attempt to trade I get burned therefore I remain in until we reach paradise!!
Agree pinkeye. I learnt that. Especially on a long term recovery play. I'll try get close to a peak well above my average.
I'm not exiting until I get a handsome 5 figure gain. Even then I might top slice and let it run.
The problem with retail investors is many panic more about losing gained profit than they do about sitting on a loss.
They get so used to being down on a share that when it’s on profit they want to take it quickly.
They then start the cycle again with another stock.
If a share has the potential to grow, which this one could easily do by 80% this year, then why sell early after holding through the crap.
And with this we are not even taking about growth really, just recovery to pre Covid.
All depends on when you need the funds, we have a good idea the SP will rise to near 190p which gives £104m and then 380p equals to £208m to the exe directors.
At this stage all things look positive with us and around the world, end of year (2021) results would be promising, thus linear progression.
Mine was around £1.40 to 1.50 but think I will just run the course for the moment..
I do get the heebie jeebies when it rises and then falls .. little devil on my shoulder goes cash out cash out , but I have big plans so .. staying the course. Still learning a lot .. got myself a stocks and shares isa ... got the basics of how it works but still learning ...
we all had a change of heart and decided to hold on now
I know a lot of us have been in this share for almost the best part of a year now and maybe considering leaving. I was wondering what everyone's target exit prices. Initially, mine was £1.00 then I moved the goal post to £1.20-£1.30. However, now I'm considering waiting till that reopening RNS before riding off into the sunset haha.
Also on a side note does anyone else get the jitters on the big rises to remind me of back when we would rise and a significant drop would follow it, I hope those days have long passed!
