I'll put £1000 in tomorrow I think ..
Would be nice to see a drop of 20% collect some shares and it regain back to the starting.. if only the share market was as simple
50% I mean .. it's the morning lol
Second batch ** autocorrect
If it hits 90p I'll buy 33% of more shares.
Got 2000 shares avg - 109p
If I can grab another 1100 shares @ 90p
I'll exit @ 140p
Make 600 on the first shareholding then I'll make 550 on the send one batch..
Let's see if I can get my target already doubled my money as I've been in since 48p but sold @ 100 to buy lower just to buy higher @ 109..
Life of the share market it's a tough one
& for the record I sold at 100p when I had an AVG of .48
Good things will come to those who wait even though I would like to make quick trade here and there
I'm currently @ 1950 shares at 109.99 AVG
Would love to trade the share , but seems to me that every time I try to trade it the share goes up.
Zeus14,
If you have sold out just because what Fergo said, you need to get a backbone.
I'll rephrase what he said - I think Cineworld will open in May are you going to reinvest?
Make your own decision when it comes to the stock market, or one day you will get bitten by someone who is trying to play you.
Hi,
I'm hoping it doesn't get brought down too much - I brought back in as I thought there is so many pros out there then cons.. (relaxing of restrictions for cinemas chains, movie dates)
Also, let me say this I have a friend in the scaffolding business and he's doing the film set for Batman & now Aquaman so in that retrospect things are moving forwards (even if COVID is trying to bring things back)
I'm 20% back into my profit but still got 80% give the share time and you will reap what you sow. This has plenty of scope to get to £1.50 - You may believe cinemas will die but the amount of competition for people to pay an on-going subscription is rising. (Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, Disney, NowTv) These companies want you to stay in and watch TV when individuals want to go out and enjoy a piece of freedom that has been taken away from you.
Keep your shares, don't panic and enjoy the rewards.
Ash,
Quick question. Not trying to sound brash how does Kids going back to school help the cause?
Is it just because normality is starting to kick in?
An account shortcine, on the side of the longs.. surely it can't be.
Just brought back in 2000 shares @ 109.99 - HL filled my
Previous order that it rejected in the morning when I was ready to get in a bit lower. They've done it again , only
Pennies but was planning on trying to trade the share a tiny bit
I had a fill or kill order @ 110p on HL - Apparently they couldn't fill it.. ****ed off to say the least.
& last thing, I know we can't look into the future but I wondered if a bad set of results has been priced in or we might potentially see a dip again.
Robin , Sammy & Ash..
It's nice to get some advice from people who have been in the business a lot longer than I am - even when we make profit we always think what if/what could. I got very invested with the stock and when you get emotionally invested you make bad calls - however at the same time cinemas are going to be around for a long time, i think the plan is tomorrow to do what Robin said throw 50% back in and let's jump back on the Cine rollercoaster.. I gotta hit the hay as I'm on the 9 till 5 but I appreciate you all taking the time to help me out.
When the SP hit 16p that was a heavy hitter I was there for that also, been in the stock since late august.
Ackers, I'm kicking myself in the foot at the same time.. I just had an exit point and I didn't want to be too greedy.. first big share I've messed around with so I'm just trying to learn from my mistakes - Hindsight is a great thing but the smarter move was to hold.
Thank you for your response Robin.. So your saying I shouldn't matter about the price I enter at as I believe I'm going to make a profit either way? That makes a lot more sense - knowing my luck I'll get in tomorrow and the SP will drop.. Just brought Zom today with half the profit I made from Cine
I left at 100 - Bad decision but I said to myself I had an exit point of £1. Am I jealous sure am; but nice to see the Cineboard doing so well..
I wanna jump back in but it will only be for 0.20 - 0.40 profit per share if I jumped in but like I said to re-enter would like to get in under a £1.
Well done to all Cine holders-
I sold out at 100p - I'm trying to get back in but I'm hoping to get back in under 100p maybe the results will bring it down.. but I don't think we will be seeing under 100 for a long while now
Even if Cinemas were doing poor before Covid - the mentality in the consumer has now shifted and people want to get out.. don't rely on consumer mentality previous to Covid to explain the future after Covid.
You are not mystic Meg anyway
@Nofear
Thank you for the advice.. why would you suggest getting in at around 88-92p what has made you come to this conclusion?
I'm going to look into other stocks in the weekend - Using bollinger bands and moving averages.
Yet again thanks for CPI tip.. seems to me the ball has started to roll.
