Thank you for that Fun Investor. Had taken you off Filter last night to look at your posting history and had added a few others instead.
Just about to book it myself to make sure I get to see it on it's first weekend. I think (probably know) that it will sell out quick.
Hitman's Wifes Bodyguard tomorrow night for me with family and 5 tickets.
Should be an exceptional next month at the Box Office for ticket sales and popcorn and concession sales and we are at near 99% capacity of our cinemas having reopened reopened.
Went to Cineworld last night at O2 centre Greenwich to see Kong vs Godzilla. The whole cinema was empty at the screen we were max 20 people. I still hold some Cine but I was shocked. Hopefully by the end of year everybody will return to the cinema
Glasgow superscreen booked for the Sunday after release :-)
AllKap 20 to 30 people was often the number for a screening at my local cineworld pre pandemic to be honest so don’t think that’s a specific worry linked to the current climate. Obviously for peak times and bigger films those numbers need to be higher though.
AllKap for a 2 month old film now still getting 20 people is actually pretty strong.
Attendances are HEAVILY weighted to opening night/weekend/week/2 weeks pretty much in that ascending order.
Allkap, maybe it was due to the football? England were playing, I know the pubs were packed as I was working and could hear the cheers and singing haha. Just a thought.
lsesb reckon this will look awesome on the super screen.
I may even treat myself to a day out if I can get chance and watch it a second time so I can experience that screen.
LPD,
HWB the cheesy fun we would expect, some good laughs for audience when I went.
FF9 certainly a movie best enjoyed on the big screen so hopefully get some good numbers especially in USA our absolutely dominant market.
Civil debate and expression of differing views on some matters always my preferred route.
Everyone entitled to filter whomever they want, should they wish though.
