Surprised buys aren't flooding in.
They no getting away from it. CIHL will receive this money. Look at the interest rate aswell. The longer it goes on the better
I've emailed CIHL for comment on the article that I posted earlier - I'll update the board with any response
doubled my holding.
Value against sentiment ..... everyone will be back on the next RNS and back to 30p. Always intriguing to watch though as the value of this settlement is way beyond the MCAP
Wait.... $97m payments in respect of the case...?? Does this mean they've already set aside the £35m Sounds to me like once this is all in the bank there will be a special dividend paid. 80% owned by one guy he'd be stupid not to!
bargain price. fill your pockets
Not many shares on the open market. Creates big swings either way. I rekon we will test 25p today.
And another 35 million possible on it way
Taken from the Belize budget speech 2016/2017 " included in these numbers is the extraordinary payment of just over $97 million dollars in respect of the settlement of the International Arbitration Award related to the British Caribbean Bank Loan to Belize Telemedia Ltd." Paid, no problem, ours is much smaller. They won't defy the US courts, end of. Rise part 2 today!
trying to make this difficult http://7newsbelize.com/sstory.php?nid=38975
There were some weak attempts at derampering today. I read with interest looking for any weaknesses in this dream of a share. No solid points were made, so it looks like a standard consolidation, profit taking, a 17% fall after a 100%+ rise shows the market has faith, just taking a moment to take events in. All in my opinion, and I'm holding here so obviously bias! DYOR, GLA.
If Belize bank is one of CIHL companies then the assets they own is worth far more than our total mcap or have i got it totally wrong..
BUY AND HOLD
Ok, it's a retrace, but it WILL find true value, 35+, I'm hanging in here, people seeing their 100% gain eaten into might be taking profit, but don't give these golden tickets away! Imho.
Lots more info to come out yet ..... I'm staying out at this price. Did top out at 30p yesterday and bought back in lower as it shot up to quick yesterday on the swarm buys. Now the smart money will be researching the actual value and once the payment RNS lands ... we should hopefully see 30-40p pop very quickly
That is $109m for a total of three companies, of which one is CIHL. Also consider the big recent payouts to the "Ashcroft alliance" over BTL.
Worth holding out for the payment + interest. The figure could be very very substancial and way over the MCAP. The SP has a solid new base so it's derisked the current price. GLA
I don't think we will see further rises until payment has been made. This is AIM remember. Promises of payments are made constantly. However this should be a relatively safe investment, providing everything pays off. Powerful shareholders, little freefloat of shares, and a payment worth 100% the company's current value. As I said, I've only put a few hundred quid in, but would top up more if it drops and I can get a lower. I'm not going to invest higher than £1,000 though, because overall I don't want to risk losing more if it doesn''t work out. GLA.
Lord Ashcroft might buy up the free float lol ..... he'd make a fortune back
couldnt risk it dropping more... looks like interest gone until next rns... moved some intto AXM.
THIS should be at least 30p + & really should be in the region 40p 27.5 million is a huge amount & this is very undervalued
the company have been awarded $27million but the market cap is only 19 million. This is a common sense buy and a bargain price
Should see another 10p on the SP .... GLA
Can any of you accountants out there make sense of the "Government of Belize Securities $34m" on the balance sheet of the recent half-year report (29 December 2016)? It's a recent addition to the balance sheet. Is this our $35m in the form of, for example, a government bond which has lost value from $35m to $34m?
