Bought in here a couple of days ago after watching for a little while. Adding variety to my portfolio. Looks consolidated at this low point in my view. Am looking for it to gear on Cocoa price rising later this year - seems to track closely historically to me when you eliminate the one-off company specific events which have impacted the share price.
although there was a recovery of sorts intraday. Fairly well funded after the placing and bond even if the coupon of 7% is a bit steep. Nice convert price of 222p in 2019. Might be worth watching as Cote d'ivoire Ghana and Indonesia contract and United Cacao becomes the largest corporate cacao estate. Looks fully funded through to late 2018 so this may well be the low.
This sp is in a freefall on very low volume and no news.Whats happening then, somebody out there must have some news!
Why is this falling? There needs to be more reasons than the overall global markets falling!

Just put this on my watch list, agree about short supply will keep looking and try and get in cheaper. Good luck.
This share has now hit a new low on no news.Any reasons or any opinions anybody outhere. At this level i think its worth accumulating as cocoa is one of the few commodities in very short supply .

I agree ,at this level its worth buying although i fear it may drop even more at around 150 mark.Long term however the demand for cocoa will only go up.The main significant risk is the weather which could cause havoc with the cop production!
Surely a good time to top up?
It is disappointing that the shares drop 10% this morning with only 13,000 shares traded ( at the time of writing ) that is AIM for you .
Been looking at this investment for some time and felt now is the time to dip my toe in... The future looks bright for this share.
Hi all. Please find below a TV Interview with Dennis Melka highlighting progress since listing www.fmp-tv.co.uk/company/united-cacao-investor-video/
This is now looking like a bargain, knowing that cocoa demand will greatly outstrip supply .Unless if there is a problem we dont know about..What worries me is that these companies that produce products like cocoa are so depending on weather conditions. But at this price its very tempting !
everything on schedule. 3000 acres planted. Ethical business. Chocolate. what's not to like.
