Good old Malcy...... That's just what we need to move things along here is another one of his videos linked in by one of the faithful...... ;-)) Mmh maybe not :-0
Good to see you're still about Nordell it's been a while since you last popped in! ;-))
JMW is starting to morph into a Malcy look-a-likey
You could be right Gooner. If it was delayed he could have said there may be a slight delay to let us know. If it looked like end June he could have said - well we are on schedule for June. If it was a few days off it is more likely he would say nothing?
Could very well be. Lets hope so Gooner. I am probably just being a glass half empty kind of person when it comes to Char!
On the other hand FID could too close to comment ?
n1, Are you a clairvoyant? What are your kitten's entrails saying about the rest of the week?
Good spot Speculiar. Where are they going to get all the gas from to feed it?
Ianfer you are right that FID was hoped to be in H1 i.e. by the end of June. I think this came from the presentation and interview given on 12th December 2022. My gut is this might have slipped a little bit and it more likely to come in Q3 (of the calendar year). This is only me speculating though and if that is the case Char should be updating SH on the slippage sooner rather than later.
Good interview with Julian but he was asked how long will it take to F.I.D. he didn't comment on that ? I understand it should be by end June this year?
Nice to hear Soc Gen are advanced in securing a debt consortium. All set for a rally here it would seem.
Anchois npv in excess of $1bn net to chariot.
Partnering discussion advancing for anchois development as part of basin opening strategy.
Jimmy
Whimax,
The partnership is with a midstream/downstream operator, so in theory, anyone connected or within close proximity to the maghreb pipeline could be a potential customer.
I think this partnership particularly helps ONEE too, as I suspect they would like to secure more gas than they currently need (as they have plans to replace their coal power stations with gas in the near future), but the problem for them would be; what would they do with the over-capacity of gas that they've paid for on a take or pay contract that they don't currently have a need for? The partnership with Vivo would negate this issue as any excess gas from the ONEE take or pay contract could be sold back into the commercial market.
Also, regardless of whether ONEE has excess capacity to sell into this downstream market or not, Chariot can use this same distribution channel to sell its gas directly from Anchois.
I also think it's part of their larger commitment to ONHYM & The Kingdom of Morocco in general, in that, before Chariot starts thinking about selling this gas to European customers, they will provide Morocco with the opportunity to acquire all that it needs first.
Jimmy, remind me what each $1/mcf adds to the pot. Our current models are based on $8, are they not?
I take your point 888
Could anybody that has the full cenkos article post it?
12$ for domestic...
Stardrops you highlight a very important development but I don’t think cart before the horse is necessarily the correct terminology. The company who is going to partner to get the gas out of the ground will want to know it can be distributed when they do so. These agreements are all interdependent and so we will probably get a number of announcements in quick succession. A very positive start to the new month.
BDC, funnily enough, that’s the paragraph that stands out for me.
Do you have a ‘take’ on that particular paragraph?
Horse b4 the cart situation,we’ve announced today a distribution partner once the gas is out of the ground
But no announcement on who will be partnering to get it out of the ground
They must be very confident of getting a partner with todays news
A large buy trade of 743500 shares at 17.2p suggests that someone liked today’s RNS. Currently Up 4.2% on volume of 1.43 million.
Yes, looks like a major RNS problem across the board today. InvestEgate not working and no RNSs showing on LSE. Search facility on IG down too.
How’s your luck!!
"This agreement confirms the priority given by Chariot to the Moroccan energy market, expands upon our other existing sales negotiations around future offtakes..."
@ICB888 Don't get me wrong I hope I am wrong. I suppose the market will decide and time will tell.
I see there's a big trade just gone through, you not posting it up ; ))
It may not be the RNS we would most like to see but it is showing good progress towards the big RNS by ticking off another box. LSE have not shown todays RNS so here is some more detail:
“ The objectives of the partnership will be to:
-- implement a gas-to-industry business in Morocco through the development of marketing and commercialisation of natural gas to industrial customers;
-- establish a jointly owned special purpose vehicle for the purchase, transportation and distribution of natural gas to end-users; and
-- put in place a long-term gas sales agreement for a portion of the future gas production from the Anchois development project ("Anchois") .”
