@ICB888 Just out of curiosity what were the brokers figures for chariot this time last year?
The ignorant goon says he doesn’t know the timeframe for the 45p target. He should know that analyst targets are always 12 month targets. Just to refresh his memory of analyst targets , which he no doubt thinks are produced by fantasists, this is from the IC:
“ The 4 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Chariot Ltd have a median target of 55.38, with a high estimate of 64.21 and a low estimate of 40.13. The median estimate represents a 238.10% increase from the last price of 16.38.”
Goon, don’t fret about the SP this week or next. What matters are the GSAs, any farmout or partnership terms and conditions and the numbers in the FID. If the SP remains at 16 after that, you may have a dicky fit with my blessing, but I don’t think it will. I know waiting for Christmas is torture, especially when the date is pushed back but, rest assured, Santa is on his way.
As a LTH I find it too funny that I can take too seriously the guesstimates of “recommended” posters or random Twitter posters or otherwise of what the the SP should/will be.
The truth is right in front of our very eyes. Only 16p today and we have the prize?!
The likes of the ICB poster fantasist and his followers like the Whimax (whose only contribution is to criticise an observation of some posters true valuation of where we are whilst holding 14 losers of her own) lady really should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Monday looms with anticipation of the next big news or just another slip back into the 15’s.
Another target of 45p but it doesn’t say which year/decade?
🥱
Note that we can now use emojis 😀🕺🏽
Seen the tweet, but can't find the article how and when they have come up with this price?
Anybody?

Yeh I had pretty much thought the same myself m8 but in all honesty its been probably one of the most roller coaster stocks that I have ever owned. I wouldnt want an RNS on a Friday as IMO loses momentum come the following week, just my personal thoughts. We need something soon before we retrace further. I never saw what surfit posted, what was that in regards to if you dont mind explaining? Assuming by your comments its not a positive post then?
@smyth I know the feeling, but I do have quite a big gap in the middle as I had wrote them of.
So long as AP has the ordinary shareholders best interests in mind we'll be fine but I'm not sure what to make of the interesting info surfit has posted up though.
Come on AP give us the signed GSA and FID ;-)) and make this a Friday like no other!
@KB am sure av been saying that its not far away for about 14 + years lol..Oh well looks another bleak friday :-(
Maybe Westward Investments Limited (Not the UK registered company (dormant accounts) but the oneof these entities in the British Virgin Island, or Cayman or Gib) know more?

Rather hard to find any data on the overseas ones, unless you want to pay.
This is not bad from Yahoo finance, detailing investment info:

@smyth I'm still trying to remain positive here and hoping news will drop any day soon, don't think an update from Malcy will cut it though ;-)) 5 months have now passed since we were told the GSA had been agreed in principle so can't be far away.
I sincerely hope not KB but this cant sustain at these levels much longer without something that the market likes. Oh wait am sure we will hear a broker update soon, one day eh they can be right, surely, possibly, hopefully :-/
Are we about to see the 15's again? :-(
Interesting. Could be worth a 10k punt on a T20
The volume today as you say was incredibly low. Going back 12 months the volumes are predominantly in millions. The lowest other than today was 432000 on 19th December 2022. Just for interest the volume on 10th May 2022 was 13.8 million. When the next major news drops, which could be any day now, I think we will see some very large volume days again.
Does anyone know the last day volume was as low as it was today? Or yesterday for that matter. Great that no one is selling but no one seems interested in buying either. Is the market waiting for FID?
X
You can compare them in the sense that they’re both O&G companies who’s share price is influenced by the price of the underlying commodity they have to sell.
It goes without saying that, due to its size, scale & cash balance, BP has less downside risk than Chariot (unless another of its well caps were to blow), it also has less upside potential too.
It would take BP two decades to double its O&G reserves. Chariot could easily quadruple or 7x its reserves within 2 years.
You pays yer money you takes yer chance.
I hold both companies.
Not sure you can compare BP to Chariot lol..
BDC. I think every positive RNS company results/news I have seen lately SP has gone into reverse.
It is not CHAR Specific.
End of April BP was at £5.35. It closed today at £4.92 (-8%)
End of April CHAR was at 17.80p. It closed today at 16.40p (-8%)
Did I see someone “mention rerate in May”?
We been on rerate alert for the past 18 months.
I do believe that we will get it all over the line some time this year but with an underwhelming affection by the market as thus far.
Or even a "All aboard, the train is now leaving the station choo-choo" (if only the driver's weren't striking, or maybe the 'chariot' driver is on sick leave?) ;-))
