Now that the share awards have issued, we can expect good news before the Agm.

Growler,
You may be correct that they awarded themselves options after the duster at Nimrod. I don't recall, and beimg frank I don't much care. Nimrod was a wildcat exploration well (as was Tapir). Other than not finding oil they did a great job. I don't underestimate the impact of not making a discovery ( I too suffered) but too many people on this board have no idea what is really invoved in opening up a new basin.
In the doldrums of 2 + years ago my holding was deep underwater. I am now ahead. If I had been braver and averaged down at 2p, or 7p I would be laughing now. As it stands a 5 bagger from here sets me up for a very comfy retirement. 10X would be a dream come true.
If Char leaders achive 5 or 10X from here I don't care how much they profit. They will have my eternal gratitude.
mmmmmm.
Let’s bury bad news on a Friday afternoon. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!!!
So much for char loving Friday's :-(
Well Ap certainly will with just shy of a million pounds worth of shares at today's price.....
Hmmm, Deja Vu anyone?
But what's a little more dilution for us measly shareholders, we are well used to it after all, aren't we?
Agilimon, so what about the numerous share awards after each duster. Nimrod for example. They’ll award themselves regardless of what they have achieved. Kick in the teeth
Friday afternoon - good point
"even if we just x5 from here"
Sorry that is ambitious but AP did state x10 from 10pish and x2 has already been achieved...
Onwards and upwards in whatever timeframe suits me sir!
"Let's hope the board delivers to shareholder expectations and if they do it will be on their terms 're. timescales!"
Hopefully nobody here is naive enough to believe anything otherwise but even if we just x5 from here (and remember some here are invested from low single digits, so they have already been rewarded), who give a fk ! We have stalled but we have come a long way! Imagine someone who had last seen the SP in the 1's a few year ago then revisited here today for the first time since!
They had similar "rewards" last year too, the first tranche of which became exercisable at the end of June this year.

The job of the Char leadership team is to deliver FID and then production from Anchois.
They are on course to do that and deliver me a very signifiant 6 figure financial gain. I do not begrudge them theirs.
Agree with Graham, should assume with any AIM company that the directors won't hesitate to stick their nose in the trough whether it's the right thing for SHs or not.. that said, releasing this on a Friday afternoon is all the evidence you need that they know they should be feeling a little sheepish here
Just accept it that shareholders are nothing but cash cows and directors will always ensure their own pockets are lined first. Shareholders will get their scraps as and when further progress is made in whatever timeframe it takes.
Some will say a lot has already been achieved and bod rewards have been earned. Maybe.
The enthusiasm and expectations are on this board and not coming from the Co. as yet. Let's hope the board delivers to shareholder expectations and if they do it will be on their terms 're. timescales.
Like NK says .... if our SP does a x1O without the nasty bits then happy happy all around !
Let's just hope they prove they are worth it !
The board loves a Friday
Very large indeed! Now we know why CFO bought so little shares!
Slightly worrying is the vesting period. Reduces chance i guess for a Quick sale or cash return

No getting away from it, these are MASSIVE, massive FREEBIES, that I would of liked to have seen after a meaningful gain in our SP.
No issue for me though if they manage to x10 our SP without further dilution or consolidation it has to be said.
aimo & dyor
Seems to me their annual ‘Freebies’ awarded for each and every successful fund raise…… implementing their own pay rise
