That would be equivalent to £2,500,000 at 25p per ordinary shares bought. Should be positive for the sp come Tuesday I'd have thought. Also interested party circling the company.
Taken from Proactive yesterday.
Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd (LON:CGH) informed that the board has exercised its discretion to waive the requirement for a mandatory offer for the company by Labro Investments Limited upon the acquisition of up to 10,000,000 ordinary shares in the company.
Thoughts anyone?

Seems better than you would have thought from recent price action.

How is it that the holding numbers do not increase by the numbers of trades even going back many weeks?
By heck, Mr. A is filling his boots! Confidence in the business. A great podcast with the CFO. 50p here we come.
That’s City Brokers for you!
Still, sentiment has definitely improved here of late.
Podcast interview...
With a market cap of around £200m, four City Brokers have an average target price that would double that of Chaarat Gold...

I do not post normally, but I attended the Zoom meeting earlier today. It was a shame that not many people attended, but I can report that this is a cracking share with a no-nonsense board who will steer this ship through the canal into profitable open waters.
A positive new interview with the CFO on the Chaarat website. Things moving forward.
The recent funding ($52M total) should prove to be great business.
We are now set up nicely for the bank funding of Tulkubash to be approved and once investors realise our production growth is becoming a reality there will be many more wanting in than out.
The long term future is looking very bright and I think this stock might start to make some % gains on stocks that have out performed us in the last year.
In reality I am not concerned about the short term movements of the SP. What is important to me is where it is going to be in 2-3 years or more.
GLA DYOR Sharegar.
Labro again proving very supportive and converting their $22m loan to stop the interest building up at$2.1m per year is great news.
‘the funds received ...... represent the remainder of the upfront equity portion to fund the Tulkubash project in the Kyrgyz Republic and fulfils one of the key criteria in order to draw on any debt project finance facility that is arranged.’
Plenty of funds also for the foreseeable to further develop Kapan and work on Kyzyltash.
As long as the politics play out in these two countries, Chaarat will deliver, Mr Anderson has said so
I think the exploration in Armenia or the mega mine in Kyrgystan needs to come through. It's possible, of course. And of course wish I'd bought at 20p :)
Certainly expensive if you are focusing on where it is now. But the growth story is becoming more credible.
this is one I follow but I always find it quite expensive compared to other things, personally. I wish you well with the investment though.
Perhaps the market is only interested in the short term consequences of this news (and the gold price has of course taken a knock of late). I certainly feel a lot better about my position here than I did yesterday. Hopefully the market will come round in time.
Not much traffic on here. I am encouraged by today’s developments but the market seems indifferent. What am I missing?
shakhtar
I'm genuinely puzzled why you would want to loiter about here, on this board? I will be your friend if that is what it is.
Maybe you would be more productive going where the money is, or are you a modern day Mother Theresa type figure that is trying to help out us poor souls?
Truly confused, considering there is hardly ever anyone here to hear your advice.
GLA Sharegar.
I never owned this Sharegar, so don't you worry about me. I looked at it carefully about a year and a half ago and decided against it. Certainly wouldn't touch it with a barge pole now with all the problems in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan and covid etc making this even less likely to ever be funder by any further debt.
You see, I don't trade short term, I invest where there are strong fundamentals. This one is overvalued by a mile. This is not to say that one could not time entry and exit perfectly (if they are lucky) and make a profit here. In fact, you can just follow Mr Andersson's buying spells to prop up share price and trade around it, if that's what you are after, and I wish you luck with that strategy. Just don't sit in this share long-term like some losers on advfn, make sure you jump ship on time before it sinks. In the meantime, I'm happy I make you laugh. GLA
Now out and available from research-tree.com.
shakhtar,
"This company is a joke" is what you said. It was not very thoughtful to the loyal shareholders of this company.
You could not have had better comical timing. Price when you said it 21.5p on 5 Jan, a mere 20 days later it is almost 50% higher and with the trajectory of a Helium balloon going into the blue sky above.
Keep the jokes coming fella, I love a guy with a sense of humour. (for the PC I mean he/she when I refer to someone's sex, but I'm a fan of the French language, so use the male as my default).
It is a pity you have sold at the wrong time. At least your comical timing is precise, like a Swiss watch.
Maybe you are more clever than I give you credit though. Possibly trying to buy more bargain basement shares.
GLA Sharegar.

I’m hanging on in here but I have seen better balance sheets...
