It is a good point. Perhaps, and this is a guess, it may be out og CEY's control because gold has to be refined and sold.
Not reallt sure.
New high of the day and bouncing!
Good point!
Slight Dip in line with this being ex divi today, standard move . gold price still rising so i expect this to rise back up again tomorrow or next week. Still lagging behind the rise on gold by a distance.
Have a close look at ETH if you haven’t already. I am not a tech expert so a lot of it is over my head, but the potential of the programmable properties is similar to a new internet. I am still in big profit on my position despite the drop (over 4x in under a year) but can see an even bigger upside. There is risk but that is something one must accept with high potential return, DYOR & good luck.
Cheers

Have added News24 to my routine list.
Sotolo et al probably treat it from habit.
Would like to get better grasp on the region.
Would like to think CAPD are very busy there.
Hi Mr Tibbles, I certainly did refer to Joe in those terms and his handout just confirms that. Madness. You tickle me Mr Tiibbles lol with your little digs.
Can any of the ex mining operators on this board tell me if there is any legal requirement that the company should hold its monetary assets as fiat rather than as gold inventory. I was just wondering how much the US$330m would be worth today if it had been held as gold rather than a depresiating asset of $ in a bank, I put it at over US$500m but currently US$330 with a decreasing purchasing value of US$250m. It does not show faith in the companies own product to hold fiat in its place.
Gold is about to fly!!!
That should read 'make believe' assets, I believe.
I've got square eyes today!
Mullard
Oh dear. We have arrived today.
Hi RedSparrow,
Interesting and fair comment!
Hi any one tell me when CEY goes x div Thanks
An article from MoneyWeek (Dominic Frisby) - I know all regular readers here have probably already seen this - about yesterday's Bitcoin crash. It also discusses the shift from 'make belief' assets to hard assets - so lots on my favourite metal to read and not so 'off topic' as you may think.

Crypto's are modern digital pyramid schemes nothing more nothing less. Some get rich some get skinned. Whatever the future holds around money with the exception of Central Bank Digital money, all other crypto will die on the vine. I can;t prove that and nobody can prove they won't pick your horse and that's it. The future will at some point arrive and history will look back at crypto like we look at chain mail letters today is my view. Gold and other PM's will be what they always were again.
Heck I've even seen crypto giys arguing that gold will be tossed in the bin....my view is all crypto (outside of CB currency) will be in the dustbin of history !
Looking at the bitcoin chart $10,000 looks like a very likely future stopping point BWTFDIK
These 'currencies' need far more price stability to be taken seriously as a medium for exchange, perhaps the value could be pegged to something more stable like Gold ?
On my "spot" charts Gold is now up to USD1871 oz as many on here say we should respond and rise up soon - fingers crossed!
Certainly many bit coin traders may decide to prefer to buy in to the miners for a divi, rather than stay where they are!
Tch,Tch, Mr Zambianminer, posting off topic, politics and crypto in the same post, I don't know , what shall become of you?
US politics (President Biden) I seem to recall you referred to him in various derogatory terms , yet now you are accepting his handout for the needy, still to be fair if you feel awkward about Joe's kind gesture, or you don't need the money you may decide to donate it to a deserving charity.
You may already be aware that there are lot's of other forums where you can discuss American politics rather than take up space on the dedicated Centamin forum.
After all 30 seconds reading a non Centamin post could be all the difference in making a huge profit or loss on Bitwasher.
Still must go now because I am off topic!
I think we are going to see POG break $1900 today, could see us close at 120+
Good info Cowichan,
From rumour's going around you may have hit more nails on the head than realised with some hard facts !
Looking forward to the promised other resources and projects updates!
Might even give the flip flops a polish!
Cowichan,
All this was reported a long time ago. I am still holding my breath for a new insight, and it must be close, and we could hear insights on the other prospects in west africa

Mr Zambianminer,
Remember this is the Centamin forum, you might distract some serious traders from making a million posting off topic.
After all there are lot's of forums for talking bitcoin who may like to learn from your experience and crypto trading success, you may be able to help them to also make a profit.
Tee hee !
Tibbles
Well there is a bit there that grabs the eye! We are so busy in Australia increasing our personal , state and federal government debt levels hardly time to sleep? All with the premise that
1. inflation will not increase (it has and is continuing to do so), and
2. that governments can effectively invest and increase a countries productivity (otherwise wages are going the same way as they have for the last few years, which is dead flat, in fact effectively decreasing) - there has never been any historical evidence to support this notion
3. Interest rates will not go up....they will
good luck punters, stay with gold, and in this regard CEY is a great bet!

May well be...but I'm wondering if the monkey hammer is coming out lunchtime today...gold has been running amok in the paddock threatening to break free ....more paper gold coming ? As far as the fed tightening ...yeah right like turkeys vote for xmas...the fed voting to increase payments on their debt...nah never gonna happen...thats why they have been talking about transitory inflation so they can do nothing and sit on their hands...they need yields low but they's like gold low they can;t have both....but they will try...so will gold get a good kicking which it then laughs off as the kicker then capitulates ?
Great Opportunity to add...
