You forget all competition have the same rising cost and would go to the wall way before Wetherspoon. His pubs are full and are well located for volume customers

Wetherspoon in my opinion after visiting the ones in the centre of Newcastle and a few on the outskirts are full of customers all day and every day spending money . Honestly.

The 4 Wetherspoon pubs in Newcastle are chocka block all day every day The five Swans is the biggest and there’s a good mix of old and young . In my opinion if we can get a break with the covid, up up should go the SP All the best

I have done my research and after last Monday morning I have sold my full stock in six companies two still in the red and the other 4 in the black . Will hope to get back in if and when this all settled down

Wetherspoon in Newcastle are doing very well. I socialise 4 days a week in them and I would say they’re about back to normal The wage rise will in my opinion effect the up market pubs more . Wetherspoon have a massive buying power .Myself will be buying small lots in 5% to 10% drops.

I agree , hard to understand . A lot of investors sell just before ex dividend date and buy back after with sometimes a 5% to 10% gain. We will see.

Some of the comments on the BB have been very helpful to me . I sold my lloy holding after the dividend and was intending to jump into Mng for the dividend at 6p . But a couple of posted were spot on with the sp drop and so I decided to buy after . Now hoping for 200 entry .A big thanks
