Better day today, at least a bit of Green.
Interesting that only 28% of shares are owned by the public.
We basically for things to simply stay as they are and medium and long term all will be wel.
Love the quiet RNS yesterday about debt reduction.
And if some banks are willing to risk lending CCL a few billion, that will do for me.
2026 cruises out this week with some decent deals…..Come on down….

Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh! My secret is out. Last time I tell you anything K!😎

Topo, The Saga vessels are just 900 pax.
No good for our gamblers, no casino.
Horlicks served from 7pm, just up your street Bhants😉
Topo, you should give Iona or Arvia a try. Like you and K we preferred Arcadia or Aurora or Oceana when she was around. But we have done two trips on Iona. She is a completely different experience. We realised that rather than being transport from one port to the next, she is a destination in herself with loads to do on board. Children (our biggest anxiety) were so well taken care of.
Agree with K that you just need to avoid cabins on Deck 8 as this is the prom deck - unless you’re some kind of exhibitionist, of course - but no need to broadcast that.
B
Now then Ken !! That will be sad when / if they get ride of the smaller ships !! I much prefer the smaller ships myself, haven't done the larger ones yet so cant give comment but I no you said you quite like the larger ones.
YR, I understand Saga are looking for someone to operate their ocean vessels or even buy them. They are nice ships, a perfect fit to replace P&O's ageing Aurora and Arcadia.
I mentioned last week that my mate in Finland ( a ships officer) had said Viking were talking to Saga. K
Saga buoyed by strong demand for ocean and river cruises

I have a neighbour who works as a debt trader for one of the big US banks. This time last year they were buying CCL debt at 60 cents on the Dollar. Just now , she can't trade it as there is no margin as the debt is hardly discounted.
More positives in these gloomy days. K
Glad it's currently going up.
Typical, of course, that I sold right at the bottom. A 20p variance to where I sold currently, £12k "missed".
So, it's ok, we're all doomed anyway.
There's a Black Hole Lurking CLOSE to Earth.........................
oh, it's 2,000 Light Years Away........."Close"

Might Actually be a Green Day Today.!
...................................
While on edge for any further escalation, trading floors are relatively calm Wednesday, with oil prices edging down despite the crises in the Middle East, Ukraine and OPEC output cuts.
"Our base case is one where tensions remain contained (in the Middle East), avoiding a wider conflict that disrupts oil supply,"
We closed at $13.92
The US Closed after hours at $13.93
So, basically even.
Its been a bloody horrible few days and we keep going down and down but we still have the fundamentals on our side.
Record bookings, Record revenue, Record Capacity and another host of records.
And today I was really surprised that no one mentions we plan to pay off 100s of millions of Dollars and apparently we are so risky that some fools will also lend us a few Billion dollars at lower interest rates...Complete Madmen...Or perhaps not....
Sad to see some sold today and if these numpties in mideast misbehave things could get worse...but if things calm down...Well who knows.....
Bot , I believe everything will take bigger hit soon. So they might do tonight . At list Iran warned them before but they won’t warn Iran so all lining up for the war now .

We've all been there. And you wont be the last.
LOL
I love the disclaimer.
Well, as per usual, today, I sold at the perfect bottom, it hasn't gone lower than where I sold.
This happened the last time, so hopefully I have single handedly triggered a recovery.!
True but I think the fundamentals are in place. Not as sexy a ride as CCL. But f@gs, booze and bombs never go out of favour for long.
Disclaimer: I am not offering financial advice. DYOR.
Risky.
The issue is that on Friday it will drop by 2% and then I'll be stuck again.!
30p
18.5p representing a yield of 1.4% based on todays closing price of £13.25
Divs are recorded twice a year April and Oct. Total for this year is 30%
Not as high as Natwest etc but would keep BotBot in fillet !!! 🤣🤣🤣
Risky ,
What is payment per share ?
BotBot and all.
BAE goes ex div on 18/04/2024. So if you want the divi you'll need to be on the books tomoz.
IWH.
I sold a lot, but I don't think it was quite that much.!
33% of the trades today was a huge amount.
Bot I don't blame you , this is most definitely a single player game , and protecting your investment while trying to earn on it are equally important.
33%? Now we know who has been driving the price down. 😃
