£10.55 is a very clear support / resistance level. If this breaks then £9.97 ish is the next level.
Agreed - I think the war is priced in. Although there may be a dip tomorrow.
The only way the war will impact CCL is through increase in oil prices. However, mid to long term, this is destined to increase in SP.
That's the tit for tat over now back to 11.00 tomorrow.
Risky ,
I don’t care share price now anymore . Single digit numbers will here tomorrow I guess. All I’m care now , Israel or Iran to take a good lesson.Us needs stop been world police .let other countries deal with their own problems.
If us was that care about anything , well go sanction china or have war with them directly and ask them where Covid and how it came from???
As long as they can sell weapons and machines they are happy .
W@ BetterLife
Watch CCL share price look like a missile down a mineshaft on Monday.
Yep the 3rd world war has just began now .
@Botty Please don't show this to Betterlife, it will cause more grumpyness. Not good for travel stocks either. That 2nd vid could have been terrorists boarding a cruise ship packed with American tourists.
@Betterlife BAE goes ex div on the 18th April. You might want to load up a few the 17th.
Looks like it's not getting any better then.!

Thanks Bhants.
No, like you I wasn't expecting it to drop that amount overnight- more over the next few weeks. Luckily I spend more time analysing chart data rather than reading news.
Risky ,
I have been following Bae since £9 ish lol 😂 but been stupid never bought any !! I always looked 2019 price and I was thinking that it might drop ,which I was wrong . But than they got into AKUS and defence stock for more and more gdp spending and you can see it is doing really well.
Carnival was looking cheap to buy when you compere to 2019 but of course they got lot more shares on market now.
Carnival isn’t doing what it suppose to do so that is making me angry.
That is why I will sell and move on at £11.45 .I think your Bae will get £20 before we even see £15 .
Good weekend all. Time to have a few and watch the war over the weekend 🥳🥳🥳🥳
@ Betterlife
I don't do AIM roulette, sorry. Never mind an AIM company that only has one product line. Like putting all chips on black.
Best to stick with BAe that has £65bn of back orders. You know it makes sense. Any they pay a reasonable divi.
Have a good weekend and I hope this post has cheered you up, a bit. 😊😊😊
And the US Closed at $14.38
So 0c change.!
Now that's a first
Also, we were the best performing Cruise stock, with NCL and Royal losing more than CCL.
Good weekend all.
Let the fun and games start again next week.
£25 - End of 2025
Risky 😂
And Avon protection will also fly I guess .
@betterlife Buy some BAe shares then. They should make you less grumpy.
The logic behind the Sp didn’t make sense after results .
Carnival have not stop tanking after results. Ok we are middle of nasty humans in Middle East but at list have some positive news. What I was expecting after result when I saw the dip that will pick up like Iag but to be honest both of them are same rubbish.carnival will back on single digit %100 . I am just fed up when you think there is light end of the tunnel and suddenly we get pulled in Middle East 💩.
This message can be politic or logical I do absolutely have enough of Israel and Gaza war. I am also fed up with my tax money sent to Israel and Ukraine war.
.
The thing that does annoy me is the aspect of the SP, or value of the company, being reduced because of the sentiment, but then the expectations of the results do not change.
So, just taking CCL for example. The argument for the drops earlier was that Interest rate are not going to come down quickly....and Inflation is staying higher.........
You would therefore assume that the SP would drop because the theory is that people would not be cruising because they cannot now afford it......but..... the expectations of the results haven't changed.....which means that the expectations which assumed bumper months revenue and profit is still assumed, which then mutes the points about the SP drop.....
That is what truly annoys me about stocks.......and I'm not just talking about CCL.
Look at RR today, they are a defence company as well.! and the service contracts on the engines are payable whether they are flying or not.... but RR still drops, where as BAE has gone up.....
Rant over. :-)
Agree bot
In my past life I used to have calls from the public that lost everything as they saw stocks at 1p and put their savings in as they were 'cheap'.
Although I'm active here, I never rely on comments on bulletin boards. Most people posted things to try to sway other investors to do things that assisted the poster.
At work I could literally see the postings correlating with the trade reports. Posters would then be very surprised when I obtained their details and got a phone call from me 😉
YR.
Yep.
If you need the money within a few years, you should never invest in individual stocks though.
IAG got to 180 on Wednesday and is now 18.5p cheaper.
Easyjet has dropped 12% in two days.
But, every single one of my funds has gone up.!
The answer, sit, wait and watch....... End 2025 = £25
I get there is a lot of tension in the room about the impact of oil prices on their portfolios, but if people hold stocks so highly correlated to oil fluctuations you could always take a bit of a hedge with a something like a Wisdomtree long oil etf to ease the pressure? Not recommending the 3x leverage (up 44% in the past month), but just something to de-risk the portfolio a bit?

Well
Just check the oil price now. Up and up it goes. We have to sit down just like sheep and watch this Middle East war Ukraine war ??? Absolutely nonsense.
Watch the inflation to rocket 🚀
That’s your call mate. Was just saying that I don’t do war chat.
Cw ,
War chat??? Well entire stock for travel has stuck for this idiots . What else do you expect me to write ?
We do welcome everyone’s opinion .
