Bet you don’t 😉
Yes and Carnival still choose to stay in red.
Seriously can’t wait to dump when I get back to £11.45 .
Are well up across the pond….
.
Ccl is not a market making stock. Its on the STMM Platform. Yes, market makers post quotes, but it's order driven. The price formation is down to the orders that you and I post, they are only liquidity providers. Assuming good liquidity in a stock (ie not small cap) it's very hard for brokers to influence. Especially when there is a joint listing as arbitrage kicks in.
The price may be influenced by other market players, but I doubt the market makers are doing it to any great extent.
Part II
We know well enough what rules in the marketplace, sentiment. Plus, perhaps, a bit of whether or not the “MM’s” porridge was cold.
This share will not go south of £10 - at least not until tomororrw………
Welcome RobertM to the CCL “we haven’t got a clue what’s going on or why” board.

The “market” doesn’t agree or disagree with the fundamentals of this or any other business for two reasons:
1. It doesn’t actually know what they are, and
2. It doesn’t give a damn because it’s only interested in itself.
Nearly 90% of CCL debt is now on fixed rates of around 7% so inflation and base rates have a nil effect.
Still, never let facts get in the way of “market making”.

I can only assume they don't believe the fundamentals have changed enough to issue a revision. I guess the market disagrees? It seems to be consistent with other stocks.... the new risks have not triggered a slew of earnings mark down announcements.
Although this is my first ever comment on any financial thread, I’ve been a swing trader for three decades and made quite a good return, with the past five being quite lucrative. CCL.L is one of many in my portfolio, but as promising as it is long term, I can see it once again going down to between 862 -898 before reinvestment. Could be I'm wrong, bit it's unlikely :-)
The only reason it's showing huge %'s compared to last year is because it was only £7 a share, however, if in December after the results and the expectations it was worth nearly £14, and the next results expectations were set then, and now, 4 months later, with the Inflation/Debt/Interest rate aspects I mentioned below, that would mean that the results should be 30% lower then.?!?!?!?!
But it's still up 51.6% in the last 12 months. I'd happily take that each year 😉
(also still outperforming NCL over the same period)
Yep.!
It's actually getting a little frustrating, even I have to admit it now.!
So, the SP drops because Inflation hasn't dropped and therefore the Interest rates aren't going to come down as quick..... ok got it....
So, why haven't they adjusted the expectations of the results.!
Surely, if the argument was that CCL, like other travel isn't going to be as profitable because the amount of people won't travel because they can't afford it would mean that the revenue expectations should come down right.?!?!?
and because the debt that the travel companies have will now be paid back at a higher interest rate because it's not going to drop as quick, would mean that the bottom line EPS would be lower....right.....?!?!?!
But nope......... nothing has changed.! apart from the SP being 30% lower than at Christmas.!
People bring back Covid or something and teach human a good lesson god.
On the plus side it could be an opportunity for people to average down I suppose , I think if Iran do retaliate as proposed this is curtains along with most travel for a while to come, but like Better has already said today its probably needed now
We shall get some popcorns and sit back and watch Middle East war now.
The drop today is related to Iran and Russia.
In one way let this war start because we need to clean up some rubbish from planet. The way these leaders the son of the 🤬have put human life in danger and have been allowed to disturbing other human life’s.
IAG hit 180 yesterday morning, it's now lower than 169.
All travel tanked.
don't forget, nobody has any money because the CPI report showed Inflation has not come down, so everyone is staying at home, with blankets wrapped around them eating from a cold tin of beans.
All cruise ships will be empty and all the flights will not be taking off because there aren't any passengers anymore.
Oh, and can someone tell the fckin Costa Coffee customers to nobody has any money pls, because all of them sitting there drinking their coffee's with their morning cakes is making the people eating cold beans upset.
Think its more down to the Iran Israel stuff
What is happening here….😢
The ft250 is still only trading at November 2020 levels, way behind the ft100 which hasn't exactly done itself proud.
Watching the news last night of the fun and games on French beaches only for us to send a taxi out for them, no wonder this country is in the state its in. Did they uber it

I hear from friends in the frozen North that they have been talking to Saga about co-operation as they have similar size, modern vessels. K
In 20 months - £25
A day, a week, a month is nothing, all meaningless unless you are trading.
£10.55 is a very clear support / resistance level. If this breaks then £9.97 ish is the next level.
There is no telling when this is going to stop falling, share is heavily shorted
Yesterday us inflation was mainly driven by energy and petrol prices .
Over 6 months Gaza war and over 2 years Ukraine war.
We need work hard and pump more money into tax pots so they can kill more people. We also need to make sure we pay higher price for petrol to drive work. What a fking nonsense.
