MO -- there are a lot of things that would be nice before christmas from CASP but my fear is they dont care and its unlikely to happen. They have spent far far far too long doing everything they have ever done one anything especially the deeps, the share is 'rangebound' and ideal if you want to launder some cash without too much risk !
Hey DavidBlack...
Yes, according to Smart Engineering design doc, A10 has a target depth of 5300 meters (± 250m).
Could say, so did A8... With hindsight, it's understandable why went to flow versus deeper drill... I think the reasoning to flow A8, rather than go deeper, was more to prove the well design concept, confirming the upper carboniferous interval's ability to flow and maybe some early cash-flow, also allowed them to schedule the acid treatment too...
I am glad they did chose to flow A8, it's given them time to gently experiment and formulate the clean-up and stimulation process on a well with a newer, more learned and considered design with wider well-bore specification and importantly, equipment/technology and partners appropriate for the job.
My guess is, if it plays out well, with A8 and A5 flowing at Airshagyl, then they'll go all the way down to Devonian with A10.
Is only a best guess but below is statement from Sep 19 Interims..
"We fully intend to explore the lower depths of the Airshagyl structure with future wells."
Be nice to get an RNS this week, could also do with some nice Airshagyl photos, feel pretty confident will have an update before Christmas, but will see...
Elicense Watch resumes on Wednesday, following the conclusion of the two day public holiday ;-}
Good luck all CASPers, Cheers, MO
Lon - If you are in this share, it would make sense to get all of the usual rhetoric on this board summarised into say 8 bullet points and print it on a laminated card (in case you spill your coffee) so you can look at it each day to save time !
Examples being -- any day now, RNS on Monday, Big Buyer in the background, Flaring licence next etc etc etc hope this helps....
Hi Matrix
On A10 is there a “5,300” target present?
TIA
DB
Thanks MO
Hey FizzyD
Co-ordinates are:
45°58'12.0"N 54°10'12.0"E
45.970000, 54.170000
Be prepared for no wells visible on Google Maps (image must pre-date A5), might have some on other popular maps...
The Russian Google (Yandex) has a more recent image, drills at A5 and A6...

Good hunting... Cheers. MO
Looks like someone is buying to me - listened at smashers new promise. Its going to be a dear Christmas
JD last 250k yes looks a buy the 2x 230k rollover /isa
Hi Mo
Do you know the exact coordiantes. I am trying to locate the area on Google maps
Many thanks
Russ
Looks like someone is buying to me
Would be good JD :-)
If interested have done a V3 of Airshagyl Map, and have included corresponding 2D Seismic for 4 x wells, is from 4,180m to 4,500m and covers the current top of Carboniferous, including clay areas around 4,200m.
https://ibb.co/C9Nqt7R
Can see the red section under A5 starting at approx 4,340m for approx 60m, same as latest drill data.
Good luck all CASPers and Happy Independence Day to all Kazakhs.
Wheres the large buys ? rollover 23 seconds apart on the 250k ?
I think A5 is flowing
Large buys and the SP drops...wtf
we've just done cement - we're doing concrete as well?
Nothing concrete as usual !
mr c what are you expecting in the next rns?
davidblack - the usual AIM excitement on how far it will drop when people realise there is no news?
Or “The excitement builds.”
Smasher - Let me write the next RNS for you as follows :-
A8 progressing as expected
A5 progressing as expected
801 progressing as expected
A6 progressing as expected
Expecting shut down of operations soon due to inclement weather in Kaz will resume any outstanding work in the springtime.
C Carver
#News before Christmas is going to happen - based on what?
Don't make such statements unless you have fundamental evidence.
We had many here and across AIM and it only ends in disappointment.
News before Christmas is going to happen and it's not to wish us glad tidings.
Come on Caspian give us a cracking Christmas and New year.
