I’d be careful though here as we have been warned on ASOS to

High energy prices likely to limit consumer spending on clothes this winter
Thanks
Just to clarify - rading update last year was September with half yer results in November
September normally
Are we expecting half year results some time mid to late autumn?
Good run up today.
Expect it to continue upto half year results
someone took the **** there selling it into the close down -6% haha., lucky it bounced.
Online data indicating decent online performance for core brands for past few months, defo too cheap for me not to take a decent position here.
March 22 is a long way away.
By then, the covid situation will be well past. Share price will be well north of where it is currently.
Chris is a well know bs er. I’m surprised LSE allow people to post market misleading BS.
There are no fines in the case. More BS
JDW sold ppi on behalf of Allianz insurance, it was ruled that Alliance had to pay out £27mil in ppi claims in respect of JDW customers. Allianz now are claiming JDW should have had more knowledge of risks in relation to PPI so made a claim in high courts to recover some or all of the £27m they have already paid out. JDW dispute and counter claimed against Allianz..
The court will decide if the original ruling against Allianz was correct and or if JDW should pay or if indeed the two should share the burden of what was paid out.
Bwng have set aside £36m incase the ruling goes against them. At this stage no one has a clue if the court will rule for JDW or Allianz all thats known is Allianz were ordered to repay the PPI and have paid out £27m.
She’s worth about £3m. As if she’s signed a deal with n brown worth more than PL footballers.
The old think before you speak comes to mind…
Quick google. Tom cruise made $12M (£8M GBP) for starring in top film mission impossible.
So according to CHri55 Amanda Holden s on more than double that for an advert or two for a online retailer pmsl..
Talk about bull****.
Come on Chris share the source of that 18m for Amanda.. I’m interested to see it as thinking of taking a punt here again. Amazing i first bought these at 23p and Paulof bought these at 10p last year. (Pre dilution too)
Where’s the info on £18m from sounds ridiculous. I suppose £18m for Davina too so £36m for the pair
Smells like BS but happy to view links of source
No position.
Seen a lot of JD Williams ads on TV this weekend so seem to be stepping up
Unfortunately one has to take anything from the fool mob with a pinch of salt. They are always contradicting themselves.
Makes for very interesting reading, long term hold seems guaranteed to make some serious profit...

Added some in the 51-52p range today, that is a fair way below the 57p placing price when the legal shenanigans are resolved hopefully there is a profit there...
Was definitely worth a punt at 46p, the drop was over done. i missed it unfortunately. GL those holding.
It will be a good buyout target soon so worth a hold
Danl90. I was thinking the same thing. The John Bentleys of this world would target bwng and strip it to the bones. The fly in the ointment are the big family holdings who would surely resist such a move. A grossly undervalued asset that deserves much better treatment than it is getting.
Market cap of £250m with £80m of cash means £170m equity value for a business which expects EBITDA of £95m! Madness
Capex at £35m is manageable in current cash flows and the Alliance item is frustrating but now very much priced in
Revenue was finally growing and in the strategic brands is great positive
N brown should look to add a marketplace like Debenhams?
