George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Was the update that bad? Why the extreme drop?
My average is 110, so low now that there's no point selling for me lol
In the past the SP has seemed to rise up to results then dropped, regardless of whether results are positive or negative. This time SP has fallen in the lead up, so does this leave an opportunity for a rise if we have good results?
In my experience with other UK stocks that have listed on NASDAQ it usually holds steady until NASDAQ opens then ends up falling or rising according to what happens over the pond. Basically more or less at the mercy of the US traders. I've been unlucky in the past with some pharmas that never gained traction over there and would just drop every day after NASDAQ opened, but hopefully argo will attract more attention
I'm also cautious here. It's been pumped and dumped a few times in the past, and people were all saying news is imminent those times too. I remember you predicted it correctly last time as well. Fingers crossed we have some good news coming but I'm not getting excited until we see some actual news. I've also stuck a stop loss on for 33% of my holding so even if it is I'll get a bit of profit and buy back in later
Are we expecting half year results some time mid to late autumn?
Why did the share instantly drop? I thought this would be good for the SP?
Could this be because of ASOS? First time I've been in red with brown for ages. Regret not setting a stop loss.
I'm asking myself the same question
I don't check the board much. I'm a bit of a newbie. Don't have much invested, but a lot for me. I bought into what Mick was saying, panicked and set a stop loss. Which was hit on Monday. Let's see how this plays out. Currently hovering above my stop loss level. So far, in my brief time investing, every single time I have listened to people on these boards, be it ramping or deramping, I have regretted it. I guess it's all part of the learning curve.
I forgot we had results coming today and sold half yesterday at 58.5 expecting a drop down on open. I bought back in today at 58. Does that make me a successful trader :D
Can someone explain to me like I'm 5?
When invested last year it was due to the drugs in the pipeline (eg VAL301). I must have missed the whole KTH22 business. What's going on and what implications does it have that they've decided to terminate?
5% drop overnight, have I missed some important news ?
I've been eyeing up Argo for a few weeks now, felt like there were too many people sitting on huge profits at the 250 ish mark for me to feel comfortable buying at that price. Hoping the the drop on Thursday/Friday combined with the bitcoin crash might be giving me the perfect entry point next week
same thing happened with TILS last year. share price would be stable-ish throughout the day and as soon as the markets opened state side it would start falling. should have seen this coming
