Once again it's bill time, e-mail reminder, and instead of just telling me the amount , I have to trawl through to their Website to check it.
So why doesn't this lame duck. fill the pages full of adverts and make some revneue.
They never employ anyone that can bring extra to the job.
iI's if you can do it as it is, Your good at golf, or play a musical instrument, or married to one of my children. Youve got the job. Sheeeeesh!!!
Is Mandy still obsessing about me? All I see is "This message has been filtered, please adjust your filters to view" in green lol.
I would think ftse stocks will improve later this year
Commencement of interest rate cuts, (doesn’t matter how much or how many, just that they’ve started).
Final budget before election
New government settling political uncertainty for markets
US institutions indicating this week they will shift investment focus to ftse and Europe indexes later this year.
Just a case of holding onto your stocks, continue to be patient, we suffered a few years, there’s less suffering ahead than has gone before us.
So mandy you claim "Better than starting at fleccy's anus "
Hmmm really , i defend your your right to define your sexuality , but do we really need to hear about your fantasies. You need to apologize to fleccy and everyone on this forum.
This is no place for a debauched , deviant deplorable like you mandy
Any Class Action fine could go to Appeal ...could be long drawn out
I dont think any fine will be as high as what the Claimants are seeking if it went their way
Market also waiting for CEO's first quarter results and her strategy guidance on expenditure and cost control
A UK election this year adds to takeover uncertainty
Banco Santander said there are better places to invest than the UK
£5 share price only possible with QE and low interest rates, bringing back market leverage.... no chance !!
Only a loss if you sell, looking at my holding it's down £15k if it makes you feel better. Shorts don't help, but given time this will go up. If the Ai bubble in the US pops may see investments in undervalued UK shares.
I would sell my shares here, but would suffer a £1,900 loss stuck here relying on the dividends to recover some of the loss. I wish I hadn't split my cash between here and rolls royce and put it all in rolls royce. I think rolls royce still has abit to go with the share price.
I can’t read your messages anymore , but seeing the green filters fills me with warmth.,
When will Bt become the next RR. Both Mandy and I want that
Maybe Mandy is dt ceo
Hi fleccy, i was amazed to hear that DT's average is above £4 , why only a complete and utter fool would pay that for BT.
No wonder the CEO of DT and mandy waste there life staring at a hole in the skirting board , hoping a mythical MOUSE will appear.
There is no fool like an old fool- eek eek mandy
Haha, very good our very own “Secret Diary of Rodney Mole aged 65 and 3/4. Keep it up Rod, the anecdotes that is.
Great story Mandy, very amusing, improved the mood before heading to sleepies !!
Mandy must have checked into rehab. Posting loads of green lately
Rod, there’s a very contemporary adage in the retail world relating to all this over indulgence in diversity…… Go Woke, Go Broke. Look what’s happened to John Lewis.
If BT loses the Class Action and have to pay a hefty penalty, we can say goodbye to the Div for as long as that total Div equates to the Penalty. Div is currently £800m PA for the both interim and final. If Bt suspends the dividend there will be a double impact in the share price because of money out the door in fines and no payment of dividend.
DYOR
Between Drahi and DT, they own around 37% of the company. Drahi's average cost per share is well above 150p and DT's average is above £4, I doubt either of them would sell their stock for 150p; Because they own so much stock, any prospective bidder would need to acquire their holdings at the start of a bidding process.
"So what is the takeover premium right now that shareprice is 1.03?
1.50? valuing the whole business at 15b?
Seems reasonable to me, almost 50% upside on the current price."
It would be whatever the large shareholders would be happy with. Considering that BT's Capital expenditure on fibre alone is £15bln. A bid at that price would most certainly not be acceptable by almost every BT shareholder. IMO.

"What is the point of you banging on about a bid"
I agree, I gave up on a takeover bid 12 months ago. Drahi is skint and DT haven't added to their BT holding in 9 years, DT have little interest in BT. I think that DT wanted to offload to Drahi, but he's skint. Any bid would probably be turned down anyway. I would welcome a bid, but I'm being realistic, a bid isn't coming. So I'm like a lot of other BT shareholders stuck in a company who's share price continues to drift lower. Patience is needed until 2027 at the earliest. IMO.
I bought in 6 months ago for 1.15 so whilst I am in the red, I can't complain. I also took once recent dividend which I invested elsewhere.
I do believe in a turnaround, which is why I bought in.
BT operates mainly in the UK where its widely acknowledged that economies of scale for 5G require reduction to 3 Operators. UK is the only European market which is actively working on this. UK govt will want to stay ahead of the 5G curve, especially as its out of EU and I expect the VF-Three merger to be approved eventually.
Splitting the pie 3 ways is a huge upside for every Telco in UK, there is no two ways about it. That is my long term reasoning.
Short term - there are many big backers who are hugely in the red. There is a decent chance one of them will decide to make a bid rather than sit on the loss. Any bid would result in the losers having to write down billions in asset value they will never get back the original investment . So its a game and we got to wait it out.
What is the point of you banging on about a bid
As you will never get back your £5
I'm sure most on here would welcome a bid but as you can see @ close to £1 none are coming
By a country mile.....£5 in Dec 2015...and now hovering at a £1....
