£1500 a unit and £2 a cartridge. Small companies can buy this to protect their workforce with continual purchase of cartridges.
Looks good, no.......looks great
If the cost is1500 quid the price will be £5k
Don't see effecting price much either way.. till sales news come in.

ETC!
PROFIT:- How much you will make? 30% or 40% or free. lol
Yes, appreciate that Albus. However £5k is nothing to most companies.
Bit of a nothing RNS really, as we were
Of course - there will be huge demand at that level - Paraytec will have a license fee or the new owner of the rights and the value to BRH will be sale of the rights and get out terms and c,s
iceman888 - Surely they are the overheads any company has selling anything?
How is this RNS nothing? The cost per unit is a huge piece of information. How many times do I see in AIM the question ‘what is the production cost?’.
It’s a low cost unit whichever way you look at it and that means higher margin from sales at a competitive market price.
"Discussions with potential commercial partners and acquirers are now continuing in some depth, with some prospective counter parties having completed a third round of such meetings." Is also a pretty significant statement thats hopefully excuse the pun is worth its weight in gold.
3rd rounds of meetings suggests both parties are on similar page (or else why bother). This will come good and sp will blow, just gotta be patient!
As usual they missed the boat, other companies already on market , and £1500 a throw , too dewar.
Absolutely 100% good news. The fact that the same method can be used for the sepsis and bladder cancer test is brilliant. This will make the development faster. Goldmine!
They have definitely missed the boat for this winter's covid and flu season, as clinical trials only commence in Q1 2022.
However, longer term, the market is huge in both medical and non medical settings. The price point looks attractive, and the cartridges can be tweaked for future epidemics as the technology is very versatile.
A "nominal" charge for the unit could be at cost, or close to cost, rather than the 4000-6000 pounds bandied about, if the profit margin is focussed on recurring cartridge sales.
As previously indicated, the Paraytec team will commence a prospective clinical study early in the new year, followed by a longitudinal study. Discussions with potential commercial partners and acquirers are now continuing in some depth, with some prospective counter parties having completed a third round of such meetings. The Braveheart board continues to assess what is likely to result in the best outcome for shareholders, whether it is from the potential sale, partnership or retention and full development of the technology.
Omicron: The Paraytec and Sheffield University team are confident that the test will work with Omicron and other variants, as Paraytec's test to detect the COVID-19 virus uses antibodies to attach a specific fluorescent dye to the surface of each virus particle. The antibodies used in the test have been selected to recognise the viral Spike protein. While mutations in the Omicron variant give rise to over 30 amino acid changes in the Spike protein, all of these occur in a region of the protein which is distinct from that recognised by the antibodies selected for the Paraytec test.
Mix messages but I still feel this will be bought.. sooner then we think... May be TB wants his mates in..
If they sell Paraytec for a great price, who cares when production starts.
If the dividend is in the region of what it was last year, you’ll make over 100% in div earnings alone based on the current price.
In any case, I think the sp will pick up today.
It’s pretty amazing and substantial news.
Just wait and see!
As we now have an idea of the price for tester box and test, what would be a ball park figure for an outright sale of Paraytec. ???
It's really hard to put a figure on such a versatile product. You are ot just looking at covid test. If Pareytec is sold sepsis and bladder cancer development t is going with it. It's massive!
3rd round in talks is serious. They have been agreeing on some terms and conditions but not on all yet in this talks. To come back to the table to negotiate further is serious business. I still think a sale is on the cards soon.
