Great news indeed. If only the company could issue a celebratory RNS to let people here know!
Great news ennombrede. Thanks for the link :)
Bioquell to supply the new UK National Biologics Manufacturing Centre 14th Oct http://www.manufacturingchemist.com/news/article_page/Bioquell_to_supply_the_new_UK_National_Biologics_Manufacturing_Centre/102443
Should be soon. Interesting that the Gov have stated that they expect some cases in the Uk over the next few months. Hopefully further sales on the back of that statement..
Should we be expecting news, eg more sales?
Bouncing around this range quite dramatically. Won't be long before 120p is a thing of the past IMO
thanks for the links. Makes interesting reading. Would expect it to become more and more commonplace as the Ebola crisis continues to spread. Good to know BQE seems to be the 'weapon of choice' when dealing with infectious diseases such as Ebola.
US Patent: (Patents) Oct. 6, 2014 Bioquell's US Patent "Wound Treatment Apparatus" was issued relating to an apparatus for disinfecting surface wounds using a high concentration aqueous ozone solution
'Barb Mesa, a Bioquell tech at Flagstaff Medical Center, pulls out the Bioquell machine, which uses hydrogen peroxide vapor to disinfect a hospital room after a patient is moved or discharged. If the hospital ever received a patient diagnosed with Ebola, it would likely rely on such technology to disinfect areas where the patient had stayed. (Emery Cowan/ Arizona Daily Sun)' http://azdailysun.com/news/local/flagstaff-readies-for-ebola/article_7f014ed2-cdf9-5f6b-a1e2-d579208220a6.html
Thanks Cacher for sharing that. Read this on a New Zealand Doctors website. Includes : 'A Bioquell machine will be used to sterilise all areas the patient has been in by spraying the area with hydrogen peroxide.' http://www.nzdoctor.co.nz/news/2014/october-2014/09/middlemore-prepares-and-practises-for-ebola.aspx

The only surprise is that this has taken so long. As previously stated, Bioquell's recent trading update was completely misinterpreted: This was by no means a profit warning but honest and open guidance, bearing the sign of prudent management and a well-managed company, setting a good example other publicly listed companies should follow. However, even after the significant surge in the company's s/p over the last couple of days, it remains lowly rated and vulnerable to a bid. Bioquell may be a 'tiddler' but it is a world leader in its field and a valuation of around 200p would be about right. Other small companies currently trading at depressed levels for not other reason than being 'below radar' are Ubisense and Vernalis (both AIM listed); again, tiny by market cap but world-leaders in their field. http://pinkerspost.com
Thanks for the article link. Got in here this morning. Got a long way to run IMO...
Here's a piece noting yesterday's rise & also explaining a bit about the company and its products. It looks like a sound long-term bet even at today's price: historically was around 150p.
I would have expected this to be bubbling this morning. The share price certainly is.
Attracted some attention today with a nice jump. Not the best of circumstances, but it is their business. Added a few thoughts yesterday that may be interest to others taking a look. http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/8203-Bioquell-Looking-Placed/story-23061728-detail/story.html
as a massive Ebola breakout. that will help this share move...
still think this looks like an add on acquisition for some bigger fish out there...
A few thoughts that may interest. http://www.privatepunter.co.uk/Companies/5-august-2014-bqe
So when is this company going to be bought out and taken private. Not quite sure why this is listed.
Pinkers would like to add: This is HONEST guidance rather than a nasty profit warning. Bioquell is a healthy company but has been affected, like many others in the same sector, from the general downturn. Pinkers will add to its holding but want to see the s/p stabilise above 100p, first. Longer term, it's definitely a BUY and rather vulnerable to takeover… http://pinkerspost.com/index.php
thanks for that I have only just got the RNS
WHY? Well: a profit warning!
THE DROP?
