In exact same position Bryn... kicking myself for not buying in at bottom, but at the time i was happy enough with what i had and didn't want to put anymore in... i was all in.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing and although i believe this will rise much further i am happy with my position

I am still here - perhaps I should kick myself for not buying a load during the lows but I guess I was happy enough with what I had.
Exciting to still be here with the planned drilling timetable, though I thought the same when we were all debating the name of the expected drill ship last time especially as Simon P had given us the clues as to which it was - and of course it wasn't.
I am happy to hold onto what I have which will give me a decent pension pot if we hit oil.
I have to say I was happily surprised by today's rise as I was with the past couple of days. Nice to see we are number 3 on ADVFN's risers.
Let us all hope the retraction due to day trading sellers is a low one and we can continue with the positive news going forward. Amarone, Rum, Gin (From 'The House Of Ruhr') beef and horseradish sarnies are the way forward.
Stay safe and be friendly.
Bryn
Interestking - I'm afraid I have just one problem with your 03:28 post: will the Ocean Club be good enough?! After all, we LTHs will hopefully be in a different social strata by then and I want to live in the style to which I hope to become accustomed, ha ha!!! You must advise!
Let's get the insurance nailed - which is I think the thing that was next on the original roadmap - and then we really are well and truly off to the races.
I loved Eytan's confident iinterview the other day where he smiles and opens with "We're back!" and ends with "It's going to take more than a pandemic to stop us!. Lovely.
Blooming spellcheck- I’m sure you all want me to shut up not hut!
But then again there are huts @ Paradise Island - with a Butler!

Sorry I’m off on one - early morning chat with the Birds and they are all saying :-
Why would you buy a bunch of companies - The Indices - when they are all in the main going to to report reduced profits if not losses?
I think I agree with my Robin and Bluetit mates.

And now I promise I’ll hut up!

Hi Fols sorry for “blogging” but I’m convinced “TheAuthorities” are buying The Indices to create confidence or win an election in November - which is great in the short term, and I know opportunities can be missed - BUT they are buying it with our future tax liabilities cos they ain’t got any money!
Just a cautionary comment albeit maybe seemingly pompous!

PetroleumShami/Andy
Spot on guys.
We have the funding, (with cheaper and more to follow IMHO, ) we have The Rig, we have PPE, we have testing to isolate on the rig and check/trace on supply of equipment, we have a BOD who have played a blinder under extremis, we have a bunch of short term traders who give us the opportunity to buy more cheaply, we have a BG who can not afford to not let this happen and say so increasingly, we have Petroleuminvest with his feet on the ground or at sea or on a crane and is clearly an oil pro saying all systems GO, we have Amarone, we have beef and horseradish (I’ve been stockpiling during the pandemic!) and we have us!
What more do you want?
AND WE HAVE Langans to look forward To! We will all have to sit 2 :meters apart and shout as we are all oldies and probably deaf!
The only thing possibly lacking is the storage facilities for the billions of BOO that we are going to recover!
Can you imagine what Christmas is going to feel like as we wait in anticipation from The 15th of Dec?
I’m thinking of booking The Ocean Club on Paradise _ Island (P_I that’s especially for you) for The New Year now whilst it’s cheap flights and accommodation!
Any takers?
Luv ya guys.

Cant blame people for taking profits, however i wont be. I will be riding this one out.
Got to look at the bigger picture here!
In Feb/ March the only missing piece to the jig saw was the rig... now we have that, the funding, the permissions... theres no stopping us!
Hopefully the covid situation resolves itself and its safe for free movement in the run up to the drill for everyone to be in the right place at the right time.
I was pretty gutted when we had to postpone the drill in March.. however i am starting to think this will work out even better than it would have back then!
Not to mention, we now have more time to discuss farm in options!
Its great to be back, i have missed BPC
Andy,
Absolutely, 8p at the Spud and then upwards to 10p as the drill commences. Could they relay news during the drill or how long after the completion of the well would they make accouncements? Just hope Crude price picks up as the world starts to get back into gear...and they find a vaccine!
Added another 150,000 shares today, the chickens look like they are finally coming home to roost. 8p pre spud, watch, wait and reap the awards.
GLA especially those, like me, that have been here for years. Our pay day finally beckons.
Keep the faith!
Don’t forget that some of the financing options are dependent upon the sp being +2p. Expect a stream of RNS’s to boost confidence ahead of payment of $2m in September.
To be honest, anyone shorting this is completely stupid. They have secured a rig to drill a huge prospect and the price of oil will be back up, believe me. As we have seen the price of this stock will slowly start to rise and once they spud, we should see 7/10p. The prize is potentially huge here. Sit tight, and let the team follow through and execute. As Warren Buffet said, the stock market is the transfer of wealth from the impatient to the patient. Just can't imagine the price if they start to encounter thick layers of crude in those structures as they penetrate. Very exciting!
All perfectly fine by me Whale. Delighted for those taking profit now. I'm delaying my profit taking until next February ...... Each to their own!
Of course? That's the name of the game here isn't it? Making money, there will be plenty of rises and also big pullbacks as this stage of the story unfolds, hats off to anyone banking 10,20 30% profits all good ????
dropped back some
people taking profits
good to see the interest back at bpc even if some selling in afternoon
.... my sub 2p predication at 12:51. Hope the rest (nudging above 2p by the end of the week) pans out
