Bor has a hugh acerage, it won't be just Darwin.....
10 years is a bit long 5 max is better, but I think others are watching bor & maybe a takeover is possible?
And only 2.5p.. I would hope we are at £2.50 in 10 years..Options seem a bit soft and easy for my liking.
The only thing I would say is the options are for 10 years!.
Are they having a laugh. Why not 3 years? 10 years is way too long.
Rockie, They can do it for a short time only....3p+ very soon...IMHO-DYOR

Valeura, is very interesting indeed. It’s unlikely they could afford to go it alone and raise cash to appraise and develop Darwin, but with Dr. Guest joining the company, it has to bode well and will carry more weight to get a partner onboard.
There could be some interesting ways for Borders to get this over the line, bonds, private investor consortium and a couple of new partners taking a stake.
Exciting times are ahead.

Loads more buys than sells and held down . IMO we are being played while they get there cheap shares only got to look at holding rns this year to understand that . I can wait been here 14 years plus

Valeura can easily sort out the appraisal and this is where the source finance will originate in my opinion. After the appraisal is done and it's a success ( highly likely due to its liquidity) then the other 2 wells are likely to be drilled to complete all wells ready for production. Once appraisal box is ticked, it unlocks all doors for final Capex requirements both sides of the pond. Personally I am more convinced than ever that finally after all these years, we are nearly there.
Interesting news and thanks for the background info Gus and others.....I was actually considering selling a few yesterday....lol.
**as Borders & Southern repositions itself to progress the appraisal and development of the Darwin discovery."***
Excellent News....
Won’t be paid a salary but gets
7.5m shares, he knows he’s about to make a killing.
BOOM
Veleura have an executive office based for their day to day operations in Singapore and where does our new super rich big new shareholder Hugh Mason live and work- Singapore........ the puzzle is coming together like a dot to dot game that's now nearly finished.

So a CEO and President of a successful O&G company has been appointed to the BOR board with no salary but over 7m options.....why would he accept this appointment if he wasnt sure that significant progress is shortly to be made?!

JUST ADDED 2 LOTS gla
Agree, it's all games. Just look at all the small A trades placed to make sure that bid got hit with the subsequent drop in price and later a late uncrossed trade. There's no volume to stop it and its getting a bit same shi* different day here, needs the patience of a saint and then some.
Rookie1, I totally agree , going for some more myself I think . Can’t wait for push up … won’t be long
Boredom and weak hands gets them the shares they need to fill these big buys, tincan.
They love to hold it in a range and scoop whatever they can because once people see there’s life in this the margins are going to be huge.
All I see here are people playing with the sp , what for? Our time will come … 3p before Friday
Well currently very little movement over at RKH.
Let’s hope we can catch a rise off the back of RKH today, it should be a good day over there and good news for falklands oilys one step closer to FID.

Yes stock transfer between 2 entities off book at an agreed price which is why the price has been sticking in this zone all week. If they were pressure sells on the book we would be sub 2p. Will be interesting to see the next holdings RNS which is kind of overdue I think! All good and let it continue.......
Someone transfer stock off market again?
Dated 12 June , yesterday
Someone is accumulating.....imho
Buy

Hope your right Dysmons, we could do with a boost all round for the Falklands oilers. But 1m shares is only 27K. I know it’s a lot of cash to drop in as a punt, but when we get 10m volume a day, then I might think something is in the offing. Folk cannot help themselves if they know something is coming, look at the conservative member close to the PM putting a £100 bet on a July election. What a muppet, probably thought it would be easy money and nobody would sniff around such a small bet, but he was found out LOL.
So once there is anything concrete coming, volume will be up for sure.

Someone must have good relationship with the mm, all his/her *500k shares* are at 2.5p.....
Won't be long to move above 3p now ....IMHO-DYOR
After the trading of yesterday and today with the market now biding 1,000,000 lots for shares
Think we break 3p this time and then run

No problem, we are all here for help in our struggle for a profit . Gus0 I followed it back & found it’s a Saudi chap via Switzerland ,holding , will try & look it out
Ok well thanks to you both Gus and Tincan for clarifying that.
Yep RD is Damille, well part of it. No idea why he wants it under his own name but it does seem to be the theme these days with the big Calgary investment under his real name. Possibly clouding the real holder, but honestly no idea- it's a bit weird ( tax thing?)
DAMILLE PARTNERS LIMITED Something todo with this lot , but maybe totally wrong , not an expert in info !
This name now appears on our list of major shareholders on Barclays research centre, holding just under 25m shares, anyone know anything about him? I havent noticed it before.

Rookie, The FIG did signed sign a contract for new *£100 million plus* the helicopter base, it will built at Stanley Airfield. ALSO, Please keep to yourself, the fund for SL probably been sorted (according to the word on the street in Port Stanley)....IMHO-DYOR
Just messaged with Fleming (Finance Director) , who suggests I ask my broker to confirm my shares in a letter, so that's what I'm going to do. I'm not sure anything else will be coming out,
Hargreaves have it listed as being at 11.00am at the Institute of Directors 114 Pall Mall, but as you say, no official invite has been put out yet. Last year it was at a solicitor's or accountants, in the city (guess) they wanted no-one to show. This year I guess they do want people to turn up. Last time I went to BOR AGM it was IOD back in 2015 and quite a lot of people turned up. Maybe there will be a feelgood if nothing else. Not sure anything has happened since I last went.
Rkh ticking up again, I think they are ready to pop aswell. 20p + soon imo

06-Jun-24........13:09:22.......2.57p.......2,233,500m
It's a buy, someone is accumulating.....imho
All I can say is I’m in for the ride & hopefully get some more next week gla
Another decent trade of 2.3 million at a reasonable price of nearly 2.6p which shows strength and not forced weakness. On the up here..........
Cheers

Glad I’m not the only one buying, did just under 50k in shares yesterday, maybe a few more today, time for building, as when hopefully news breaks the price will jump
I would love an agm event , but in far southwest , so no I’ll wait for the big we have made it party !
I just topped up a bit. 2 buys from me 30.02 and 49.99
I won’t be gus as I love well up north, I hope you can make it and speak on our behalf. 👍
In other news, MMs are making a blatant attempt to rinse this share price on absolutely no volume again.
AGM- Anyone going? I probs will
Interesting goodbye and thanks note for Obee in the RNS, I thought before and it was rubber stamped to me when I read it- He was sacked in the nicest possible way, almost like a shortened professional obituary- just a shame it wasn't done a few years earlier.
Just got a voting email from II - for AGM on Friday 28th June.

Hope your right Rookie, just need Sea Lion to get over the line then it’s game on for the Southern Basin, all that condensate won’t be sidelined once Sea Lion is up and running.

Look at the state of the world, falklands will be the next North Sea and sooner than we think imo
Well I’m here , as we have some big investors in the background & I’m sure have some interesting connections , so bor can get some movement soon imho
Well baring news they are wanting to ride this up a little ready for a fund raise before year end! Sorry to be pessimistic but it seems the best we can hope for here is for Navitas to get funding and FID Sea Lion, then we ride up on their coat tails.
Of course I hope that I can wrong and Borders announce a partner/farm-in/bond issue to go it alone, but at this moment in time, words talking about dividends that are minimum of 3 years away are pie in the sky! IMHO.
However I still hold some of these lottery tickets just in case. Good luck everyone.

Quite clever mirroring of late also, bringing the ask down and then raising the bid up to the same price. 2.4p being the current favourite. It's designed to cover up the real direction of the trading (a bit of manipulation) which can easily be done when volume is reasonably low. Basically one entity running the book on both sides and doing a squeeze, hopefully we should ping on up next week...... let's see.
Exciting times here now. I feel like the ball is about to get rolling in the next month or two.
Tincan, I know one had to be abandoned due to high pressure. There are billions of barrels in our acreage I imagine but I am here for Darwin only cause its more than enough and then some for me, its a huge cash cow and we need to get it appraised asap which will also cover part of the Capex because the appraisal well will also be the development well.
Can anyone tell me about previous south drills , as I’ve found an article that said 5 were drilled , some dry & some not reaching target .., anything welcome , as I want to put more in , as gus said the big boys don’t waste money on no hope companies
Hi Anth, it's all about interpretation and we all knew funding would be required end of 2024 to keep the lights on and pay the wages. Yet this RNS was different in respect to the usual ones over the years, in particular " alternative" funding and "other" funding arrangement were used in the terminology which I haven't seen before. It's made clear that if a farm out and "other" funding arrangement does not materialise then " additional" funding will be required. "Additional" being the standard raise and dilution and subsequent extension of licence (kicking the can down the road again).
Add that to " the group are looking for alternative ways" to fund the appraisal program, I therefore go back to my original post RNS email that a bond scheme of sorts looks likely to be on the cards which will progress the appraisal and provide cash, preventing dilution. A successful appraisal unlocks a lot of doors for other finance and would probably cement a farm in.
Big pocketed investors are here already and increasing their stakes, if they aren't spooked then neither am i.
So all in all I am happy, not ecstatic- just content for now.

In simple terms Bond dealers are generally smarter than AIM boards and almost always sharper than us. I would be very careful indeed if promulgating positives about bonds in relation to the stranded asset. FYI have a modest V V high risk punt on BOR.

Rookie 1, I can’t wait for the pound sign if all goes well & yes I think it will move up next week
Things do appear to be moving in the right direction, albeit not as fast as we might like, not sure how much attention to pay to "new language or terminology" since we have a new CEO who just may have a dfferent way of putting things, but the dividend comment was a bit surprising, in a good way.
Feel like the MMs are holding this back today tbh
Well , I liked the RNS today & seems like a move forward, so got myself another top up of a couple of hundred thousand
Good luck all & as someone said follow the big boys money!
They would never mention returning money to shareholders before. So they must be close to getting the show on the road.
