The desperation on here is astounding.
I am staggered how an April fool joke can turn into genuine straw clutching.
No wonder so many investors lose money.
They'll be people filling up their kids ISA's on Monday and throwing in the kitchen sink.
This is going no where for a very long time.
I think it's fair to say that they will extend the period by 6 to 12 months. Maybe longer.
If anything was to be agreed, sale or otherwise, you wouldn't wait for the last day of a deadline set out 2 years ago to announce it.
We'll get a vague RNS blaming uncertainty about the current events and an unknown end etc.
Mac can start his countdown clock again...
Hi Seisnav,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I think it's fair to say that whilst we'll get there at some point, timescales are very wooley and could be a year or two away quite easily.
I'm not going to lose any sleep over it but I'd be disappointed if we are still none the wiser in 12 months time.
If the metals cycle continues up and China continues to unlock then we're in a great place to benefit.

Morning folks,
What are peoples thoughts on when JLP will start paying a divi?
I've been invested here for a good 10 years at least and seen this company grow into where it is, a few bumps along the way!
We look to be very well placed and have various income streams but I feel we really need to get a meaningful dividend policy in place.
I appreciate we are reinvesting etc to get further growth and opportunities but there comes a point where we have to take that step.
I'm also invested in SLP, which I know is not really comparable as to where the two companies are now, but that's been incredibly lucrative in terms of dividends as well as sp. The were once not too dissimilar back in the day.
Whilst I consider us undervalued as we stand today, some kind on plan for divis would surely help us improve this as we head into what looks to be the next leg up in metals prices.
Surely the BOD can set a target profit that could trigger some kind of payment?
Anyway I just wondered what other people were thinking.

It's a no brainer isn't it.
I'm confident that it will happen and now we have Truss at the helm, like her or not, she will be driving us down that route.
I think it may take the winter in Europe to see some real movement and force the issue. Its alot easier to get things sorted from a political perspective when the people are demanding action.
Morning,
I read yesterday that the frackers in the UK have stated that they won't be able to meet anywhere near the capacity requirements needed and they'll be lucky to get anything put of the ground for a good while. It was an interview with Cuadrilla.
Everything keeps silently pointing our way, hopefully something will happen over the coming months.
It's almost as though there's a deliberate avoidance of the media and government even mentioning the Falklands.
Maybe they need it to be seen that there's no other option...
