How many payments have we made over the years to companies in Zambia like Dorset solutions etc.
Better to have the Zambians involved , might mitigate further problems. IMHO
It just gets worse with each update. Why are we paying a company $800k? I thought all that kind of work was already carried out by JLP using the $300k they loaned us. Now we are going to start selling JLP shares to pay for these fees. All these extra paymens and fees are starting to mount up!
looks like it
Very, very odd. Making payment agreement after work has been done already..
looks like it
Brown envelopes .
rns OUT
To be fair to the poster - he/she had not been posting on numerous boards and perhaps had been browsing and posted believing they were on the correct board. Apparently not the usual attempt at ramping up of a share. Wish our broker was in a position to give a decent uplift price here.
Yes, I can see how BOO and BMR could be confused.
lol. oops. i made a mistake hehe
Sorry wrong board
fashion retailer Boohoo was marked up to 213 as broker Peel Hunt told clients to buy with a 300 price target
Let's just see. We can't bank on anything until it occurs. In my opinion . Cheers Vig.
maybe Bill Odie is joining the board ? XD
If so, hope it's a goody.
i think that the term 'profit' will have been agreed between the parties. i dont think the BoD will be able to triple their salaries and offset it against the accounting profit. in this case, profit would be income less direct operating cost, a proportion of admin costs (where a person does non Kabwe related costs). With regards to charging of historical costs, that would come out of the BMR's portion of the 'profit'. They incurred the cost, they should reap the tax benefit
I wonder when they say, given 40% of the profit to JLP, does that mean BMR can claim their costs for the last 7 years of bringing the asset to this level just as JPL will remove their cost of building the plant. After that its profit
I think he meant to say "solid".
" he is also very slid" Is that a typo?
That's a thoughtful post Edzi. Best wishes.
Hello All BMR Shareholders. I am invested in JLP and have been for a long time,I have also had numerous conversations with Leon, not specifically about BMR or Kabwe but other areas. He is a very good operator in his field and much more honest than others, he is also very slid and has taken over the reigns from Colin who is much more Corporate and a deal maker. I think you will find that both Companies will work together on this project and JLP may wait for situations to arise whereby they put more money in than BMR and get a greater slice of the Enviro operation and leave the PLC alone. There is little point in buying BMRas it will cost monies that JLP dont want to raise. The problem lies with BMR financing itself as the bigger the build the longer BMR will have to wait for cash flow as this needs to be given back to JLP plus 30%. JLP have already got 57% of the earnings and may get even more if more money has to be put in and BMR can't afford to do it. Personally, I hope you all make money as I know only too well what it's like to lose money in the market and I hope that this does not happen to any of you but JLP can just work normally and get more %%% of Enviro without having to go to all the problem of a takeover. The only problem JLP have is if BMR go bust however they have total cover of Enviro and Kabwe because of that so it would mean sorting out the good from the bad if insolvency happens to BMR. I wish you all good luck and hope we all make money as ther seems to be enough to go around with the project projections
A couple of weeks and we can relax a little, all being well. Expect the unexpected perhaps though, just to be on the safe side Vig. Fingers crossed for all in both BMR and JLP.
Points taken. Bad deal only because of the enormous percentage given already and so readily by Borrelli. We all know it shouldn't have happened, so naturally it is a concern going forward. In terms of a working relationship with JLP, that is also yet unproven. We need to see actual progress without hindrance now. I'm sure many of us will feel more positive then. Probably a good thing that at least JLP has Board representation, so Alex can't do exactly as he pleases. Although I'm not keen on Bird. What a combo! Lol. Good luck to us.
