Back to check in on my investment and see if you are behaving yourselves. Unfortunately poor performance on both fronts. Still the same old snide back and forth with the usual suspects.
Share price is extremely disappointing and Fortune is away since my last post, but I still have faith and will be holding for the long term.
I'll be back in a few month for my regular check in, but until then those that are continually bickering, abusing others and constantly whinging, why not take a few minutes to evaluate your choices and before posting your next comment think "is this going to contribute positively to the discussion". Just a thought. Anyway, Until next time Friends.............
I didn't realise only buyers were allowed to post. I hope your Long positions are working out, shame others can't get the same decency.
Go shove your potential short up your jacksee
Just wondering if anyone knows of any potential catalysts which would cause a bounce in the SP.
Looking for an opportunity to get into another Short position is all. Anyone else? Or is everyone here Long?
The 200k at 9.45 was a "buy" !
Good to see the tick-up here today , since about 10.30 hrs.
Agenda item 1 BMN CLN:
CFO as you know we’ve entered into a NON-BINDING contract to convert our securitised debt position with interest payable at approx 10% to an equity position at 6 pence per share. Does anyone know the current share price of BMN ?
Relationship Manager - yes the company is current trading at 1.8 pence.
CFO that would mean an instant loss of 70% why on earth would we do this and not renegotiate?
Relationship Manager - don’t worry Pdub has told us everything Is fine and has even pencilled us in for an invite to shareholders £1 party.
Pretty astonishing really that OT have maintained their holdings here alongside KS buying a notifiable stake last month, SPR making up to $75m of new investment and Orion renegotiating their ongoing $65m investment. After all, if only any of them had spent more than a few minutes picking the expert brains on here they'd have known this was a basket case of a company in a basket case of a country mining and selling a product that is going to be in the doldrums for years if not decades to come....and run for the hills instead with their money. Still what do they know eh?
Should include updates on progress which hopefully will include Orion, SPR and / or MUST Enerox
Good to see that Larky. Let’s hope it continues.
The green agenda being deprioritised by governments. Another kick in the teeth for this outfit. Time to switch off the lights ?
‘Which is worse?‘
Well seeing as the dilution was already known about OT selling out would quite obviously be worse.
I don't know anymore
Up again today, everything helps!
Orange Trust have not sold it is due to dilution that they've crossed below the 5% threshold
"unusual" spelling of Guernsey in the RNS!
Thanks did not see this
It is due to dilution. It specifically lists n the RNS "An event changing the breakdown of voting rights"
Haven't got time to calculate but could be a result of the dilution
They bought in 2021, and now sold a chunk, that's a nice loss
Hat-trick!
Useful link from HarChris demonstrating that operational issues (and debt) are not unique to BMN. Indeed most of the mining sector seems to be in the doldrums at the moment.
It's impossible to imagine V holding at such lows for long, there's just no way any producers outside of China will be able to continuing operating. Just look at this Q1 update from Largo, the largest primary producer in the world: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20230510005606/en/Largo-Reports-First-Quarter-2023-Financial-Results-and-Provides-Update-to-2023-Operational-and-Sales-Outlook
They sold more than they produced at an average sales price of $10.39/lb V205 and *still* made a slight loss. The price right now? $6.40/lb, a 39% drop. At these prices and operating at full capacity they will be making ~$25m loss per quarter... unsustainable.
It's a historic support/resistance line. It doesn't mean it doesn't break.

It's an area where the price finds support or resistance as the name implies, they do break.
@eatstocks … “30$ has been a strong support and resistance for V price. It does not guarantee a jump or that it won't drop under”. Err … not recently it hasn’t, it's been some way under that benchmark, but this rise does at least gives some hope its the start of an upturn.
