afternoon bargain hunters out in force.
I thought they were going to be able to take gas off
but no sealed the hole?!
what a share!!!!
Just found Steve Lowden's quote in the FT. He said, "It doesn't much matter to him who is running Bowleven, since the Aim listed company is a sleeping partner. As far as he is concerned, Etinde is very much his project, being developed with Russia's Lukoil, and he can't even remember the last time he actually had contact with Bowleven". Financial Times, Alphaville column 3rd March, 2017.
If my memory serves me well, at the height of the battle to oust the old board, Steve Lowden came out and said Bowleven had no input into the development of Etinde and he hadn't met anyone from Bowleven in ages. Considering at this point in time Kevin Hart (wor Kev) was busy telling everyone how involved in the whole operation he and his staff were, this must have left him with egg on his face and an excruciating pain between his legs! Whilst it's a leap of faith to suggest Steve Lowden was backing COC, we can safely say he wasn't doing wor Kev any favours. Time will tell.
It is well recorded that there was bad blood between New Age and BLVN which ended up in the courts.
Eli Chahin is also on record as stating they have a good relationship with the joint venture partners so as you state a link up it is not beyond the realms of possibility.
Hi Slipanchor, I don't believe it is wishful thinking. I simply can't believe COC would punt £30 million without an end game in place. Their mates, who also bought large chunks shortly after they did, have shown no signs of selling out either. It wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility that a price has been agreed with somebody based upon the resources in place post drilling. When the takeover was going on, I seem to remember one of the LSE posters got chatting to COC at one of the meetings and asked why COC were gambling so much money and COC told them 'this is not a gamble' or something along those lines. Then again, what do I know?
Malcy's Blog may be the source of the next good news with the announcement that New Age may consider backing into
BLVN as part of their IPO, saving the time and expense of going through the listing process and picking valuable assets in the process.
Wishful thinking maybe?
Quite agree with you that the standard of trolling here is very poor. If there is no news until December then you'd think the trolls would at least be a bit inventive in their trolling to fill in the many blank days ahead with FakeNews.....
like, 25.5p....... say, what???????????
yes, i had to rub my eyes this morning.
Yes they can make the spread bigger 25.5/28 no wonder there are no trades.
Interesting all end of day trades done at 28p. Trying to hold it down for some reason but clearly yesterday flushed out all the weak holders.
Could they make it any bigger ffs, hardly going attract buyers or sellers! 26/28
40 Days and counting down.
since somehow shared the effect of positive results? anyone? where might the SP rocket too?
if the results are cac, then i know a wounded dog limping onshore that BLVN can acquire for some of its cash.
Precisly Bandit.
I have been in this dog of a share for years ever since exiting Xcite shortly before they collapsed. I thought they were a safe bet, but nothing is safe on AIM. Nevertheless I believe in blvn and will stay put until the latest drill results show up at least. Hopefully net cash will avoid the sp dropping too much further even if the oily assets prove to be fruitless. Biggest problem is if they fail to achieve FID. Then everyone will run for the hills. I'm banking on a 50% chance of FID or a takeover. Downside being a drop to the low 20s based on cash, which would be a large loss for me but not much worse than where we are today.
Here's hoping anyway.
That is exactly what has happened today Christoski and indeed what happens most days particularly on AIM stocks with virtually no regulation and low volume allows market makers to assist their high net worth clients to acquire shares at their buy-in price. MM's will work together to drop the bid to allow the order to be filled so that they can receive their fee. Of course this will be denied. The inexperienced/weak/uninformed will have provided the shares to them thanks very much. A coaching manual to be used for those who are new to AIM would help some lose money but you can be sure that the market makers will not be sponsoring the authoring of such a tome any time soon. Stick to the fundamentals, ensure you have the time and resolve the deal with the brickbats on AIM and you can make money. I believe that the patient will make money here eventually. A good question to ask would be that why would investors with a few quid and a friendly MM willing to fill their order 7% below the opening bid, buy now?
This has been played today by the MMs today imo to transfer shares from either the willing or unwilling to the willing.
Someone said earlier that they couldn't buy any shares. MMs must have been collecting them for a specific client imo.
That makes today's activity good news I reckon.
But hey, what do I know .
Still hanging in here anyway until the fat lady gives birth or drops dead!
GLA.
on bloomberg right now ,there saying ,oil stocks will become highly in favour ,after years of slump , high oil prices expected to stay fro foreseeable future
the whole market is down so that is not helping and making it easier for mm,s
I would say everyone here now is way under water.. surprised COC are not bothered
they have loaded up with stock ,there getting ready ,drops of near 10% on no news rare for this stock ,it hardly moves on no news ,all done with good reason
coming back they got there 5% ,there happy
I've given over worrying about this pile of shite. Can't see where it's going, I was hoping somebody would have bought us out and put us out of our misery.
