They upped the bid to 4p briefly and dropped it soon afterwards. The current spread is totally ludicrous.
There is definitely something going on. I managed to top up when the offer price dropped briefly to 3.82. It has since recovered to around 4.2. We have had weeks go by with very little movement and the past few days have seen the price firm up. There is a buyer lurking in my view.
I remain to be convinced Hamz............will believe it when it's signed on the dotted line. All they have it LOI's which mean noting
I have held this for a few years and had almost written it off. I thought the recent rise was suspicious so bought in today to average down. The current spread is totally ludicrous and must deter investors.
There is more to this activity than just the price of oil going North.
But isn't it all falling into place now, with the FEED, the off-take agreement for the gas, Lukoil's local investments ramping up, and so on?
I've been invested in this far too long Hamz unfortunately, although did do well out of it in the early days. Lukoil and New Age were committed to it before covid............a lot of water under the bridge since then. Time will tell
this was 6p pre-covid, 10p last year pre-delays to FID. The rise today is catching up with other oil exploration companies that have done this the last couple of weeks.
increases in the oil price might not impact the SP in the same way as it does producers, but a higher POO makes the development more attractive therefore more likely to happen, and sooner. The key here is getting to FID, which will double the market cap in cash alone, with nothing being valued for etinde.
Plan is to get FID (Final Investment Decision) in Q3. Did you Bowleven's 2019 annual report for more details on the project? Lukoil and New Age are also committed to it.
It's all linked............not sure this share will go anywhere though. Will Etinde ever be commercialised?
I see what you are saying but i think its probably due to the unlocking of restrictions and pick up in usage ie return to normality of sorts rather than the price increase , which is still in the doldrums really.
Yes but it's only feeding through to oil exploration co's now - look at Rockhopper, Argos etc
What the rise that started a month ago?
Mirroring the oil price rise, nothing more
Decent rise on Friday , 37 trades, thoughts anyone?
so best I small top up in the morning then compass.. which I have just done at 2.75p ..which feels a good price (maybe :-))
I'd kept a small placeholder holding here as I still somewhat believe...and will now look to build that out somewhat... but slowly.... more hope than expectation granted.. and averaging down a lot with small addition(s) is the best reason I can give for doing it..
Good luck to all fellow holders.. darkest before dawn, very hopefully
Has anyone noticed that for the last couple of weeks the SP starts lower in the morning then about 3pm it goes up to circa 3p only to drop back to 2.62p come 4.30 the problem is you can not by them at the cheap end because the spread is so ridiculous...
YF Finance have just upped their stake in SEY to 4%.
Perhaps worth looking at my posts on LSE VOG board? (best to click on my name and read history of my posts).
(Both SEY and New Age are strong possibles, imo, to effectively takeover VOG before the year is out.)
32.8% spread currently !
*cut
I did a dummy sell yesterday on HL but couldn't sell any....not that I wanted to, I just sometimes do dummy sells to get a true SP.....lets see what today holds I have noticed quite often MMs cu price early and then the SP builds through out the day.
off.....
Bowleven is very interesting at these levels if they can maintain or more likely reduce the cash burn and if they get the FID 25M say end of 2020 then the SP is worth at least 3 x the level it is now however as we all know this is a very different world today and its a lot of "ifs" although risky the rewards could be high so I've taken a few using a very small percentage of my portfolio that I call my high risk or Gamble cash some pay of handsomely and some do not.....its a risk that I am prepared to take...GLA
Have a look at my posts today on the SEY and VOG boards - I think they might be of interest to you.
