Nice to see how quickly the SP has recovered the dividend drop - capital appreciation and dividends, what's not to like?
Financial Times have updated their analysts forecasts: €12 average, with a high of €14.60.
GLA.
And by the way lickass was jumping at 10.12 and you told him hold for another 50cent and now your congradulating him on taking your advise!
Are you talking your own advise
You need to tell lickass what to do next Spell it out for him
GG,
congrats on breaking through your 10.62 sp price.
as of today 24,909,535 shares bought back at cost of 236,612,631 and av price of 9.4988.today's buy back will go through 25mill and 240mill cost leaving 280mill to be bought back by H1 results day. with 45 trading days to H1 results day unlikely buy back will be completed by then which might not bode well for 480mill buy back by end of december.
520 mill buy back should result in shareholding of c. 1.005bn which would be in keeping with BIRG's s/h base of 1bn prior to financial crash.
Additional 480mill buy back brings s/h down to c.960mill which would be big catalyst and should drive sp to 11 and possibly further. Important that BOD thinking on this be raised at agm.
Cuckoo,
i knew the sunshine would have happiness radiating from your fingertips. You will find it much healthier than looking in the rear view mirror. I suppose 1 consolation from the rear view mirror would be the image of madge looking back at you.
I could have sworn you had 14 posts on at least 1 of the 3 screens on my desk !
Hey Jon Jon, I think you need to count my posts again if you find the calculator a bit complicated use your fingers
13 posts not 14 clown
14 posts to the cynical cuckoo today and 9 to the narcissist.
GG is dead right - the cuckoo can't add.
Jon Jon you’re posting beyond your limits how many times is it this evening ? You talk even more rubbish than me but then I’m not being serious like you.
I bet you have three screens on your desk?
You must be worn out from board meetings
" smelly old cranks ". you appear to be under the very mistaken and cynical impression that everybody is made in the same cynical mould as yourself.
Are yourself and madge of the same mould.
Cuckoo,
do you get masochistic pleasure in making an idiot of yourself. The objective is to seek clarity on the 480mill buy back. If the BOD clarify the matter , if someone secures clarity from the floor, or YOU raise the issue through phone in - who cares as long as the issue is addressed. It may be kicked to touch until release of H1 results. You appear to have never attended an AGM. " they will have already announced it and if they haven't then the answer is no " If BOD dont address it the issue can be raised from the floor and must be addressed by the BOD. They may kick to touch, they may state it will be addressed with release of H1 results but the fact they received approval for 1 bn buy back at last AGM it will be addressed 1 way or the other. You may not understand this but cynicism doesn't enter the equation.
JH,
My holding is through Degiro so I don't receive AGM documentation from them. I did inquire about attending an AGM, pre-Covid. They could arrange for me to attend however there was a cost involved. I decided to pass.
I believe that the SP will increase over the next 12 months however at a much lower rate of increase. I have an exit price in mind.........
If you do make it to the AGM, I for one, would welcome your thoughts.
Ashton
By the time you get the chance to ask the question you will be wasting your time They will have already announced it and if they haven’t then the answer will be no Jon jon
Jon Jon the AGM is full of smelly old cranks what ever floats your boat
Cuckoo,
that's a big change in your rant from "I can't do it". Also you are not upsetting me - simply exposing your bull...t.
Question is - will you be there or are you simply full of sarky cynicism - oops forgot that is very well proven !
If you haven't got the bottle forever hold your tongue or fingers !
Jon Jon I have 25000 shares and absolutely no interest in wasting my time by attending You go ahead and make a difference you have so many shares I’ll be disappointed if you are not in the front row
Cuckoo,
cannot speak for you and it is true that if your shareholding is 1 share ( or probably 11 in your case mistaking your get out price with s/holding) it will get you entry.
However, my entrance letter from Davy stipulates my holding ,excluding the 6876 shares bought last week.
Now lets see whether or not " I can't do it " - over to you but I shall be there ! WILL YOU.
I’m sorry for upsetting you of course you are a shareholder a big one
" but you can't do it, you can't do it " - SEE YOU AT THE AGM and you shall see whether or not "I can't do it "
One share will get you entry your fos
We know you can't add cookie. OK. Now it's your grammar.
It's "you're breaking all the rules". Put away that spade. You're (NB) in deep enough. 😉
Ashton,
The key for BIRG going forward is whether or not the additional 480 mill buy back will be confirmed at agm ,although imo decision will be deferred to release of H1 figs end of July..If so cannot see any reason why sp will not hit €11 plus. I will attend the agm and will raise the 480mill buy back if given the opportunity.
If the cuckoo attends the AGM will have pleasure in supplying the shareholding evidence as given to me by Davy's. Entry not allowed without such evidence.
19.07
Jon Jon your breaking all the rules posting 18.50 and again 10.07 are you rattled or are you on the shloer
Jon Jon “ do you require me to post evidence of my birg/AIB holdings?”
I replied yes I do
But you can’t do it Jon Jon you can’t do it
