If the route is through Suez canal and the shipments are not effected, then the price could only be down to market manipulation. I topped up in the morning and for some reason this shows as a sale.
Thanks imlom appreciated except now left wondering just what is going on with the sp?
Sea route from Norfolk port USA to India is via the Suez canal, not the Panama canal.

I doubt that longshot. Avani is the largest holder and I am sure they bought the shares @ 20p at the time so it wouldn't make any sense for them to sell at half the price
Large share holder selling to keep the price down so they can make a bid for the company.?
That doesn't look good at all. Lets pray it starts pouring soon!
I'm guessing from recent moves including todays we're looking at a lowball placing due to the Panama Canal issues.
Just a guess/presumption as the co' haven't rns'd any delays.
Had plenty of water at the canal too, trends been rising for years just won't spend on upgrading so this mess has happened. Check the rainfall chart end of the below article and you'll see what I mean.

Someone is off loading big again. Xmas does not look great for Ben's share holders including myself :(
Its suffering from a pric of a CEO imho
The sp is suffering from 'death by a thousand prics ' both literally and metaphorically.
If only Ben came out and told us actual news.
What are the shipment issues at present
Some news. Any news would be good
But we have to wait till the 5th and hope they answer the questions put to them.
They could be right. There's pretty dire issues with the Panama Canal which apparently is affecting shipping.
No reason to believe BEN would be immune I suppose.
A Telegram group says there is a problem with ships and that there is 80,000 tons coal piled up. Is it being sold?
Coal sells for $213, broker take 21, trains 40, production costs plus debt interest and royalties 116, Bens Creek get $36 profit. Why is the price 12p instead of 22p?
Price being manipulated again with the sale of just over two hundred shares -do this in any other walk of life and the chances are you would be on a diet of bread and water .
Yes good to see and not a bad price for BEN at all Looks like the dog days for coal when it only dropped is over.
2 days running +3 +5 to $235
Don't think God has much to do with the sp ,more like the other extreme, if you follow my drive.
Still holding long here, god news in the spring with the pieces falling in to place IMO
Old fat finger at it again with the cancelled trades ,about as believable as trumps testimony.
Re metcoal in India Aussie prices are finally coming off their highs as India's looking to buy from the US.
Be useful if it helps US prices stabilize/rise on the additional demand.
"Australian HCC metallurgical coal prices plummeted below 310 USD/t despite strong demand in India and Southeast Asia, causing buyers to take a wait-and-see attitude in anticipation of a further downward correction. Pressure on indices came from increased supply, lower steel prices and Indian buyers’ considering coal supplies from the US."
