nike /l sold mine last week and l have made good money , but today l said to myself this share is a winner know matter what happens, it is some think l have always believed and last week l went against my then thoughts l have had for the last 8 years ,
today l reinvested 50% of the holding l have , the worst thing of it it cost me two trading fees ,lol
Showing 18 here for me. I really think this has got the legs for 20+ before news but that's just wishful thinking. Never thought it would break 16p pre news. Wow.
It’s getting harder not easier - as someone said earlier, it was an easy hold whilst on a loss but I’m sitting on a healthy paper profit and painfully aware that we could wake up with this back to penny’s.
There appears to be time here as that last suggestion of a delay that took us down to 12p has quickly been recovered and beyond. I’m sure that there’ll be a frenzy on news, obviously linked to yes/no but for now I’m hoping on a gentle increase as we go into feb/early March. After that we’re in the hands of the outcome.
But the idea that we could reach 20p without real news makes it ever harder…I vowed to get out at 10p a few years ago!!! Good luck to all…
Agree with that FF...everyone should act according to their own circumstances...if you can't afford to lose the money, take your profit.
And that too Suzy. A few of us have been consistently optimistic about getting the concession so to jump ship now when we seem to be closer than ever would be obtuse. Personally I don't think a yes is factored into the current share price so I would anticipate a healthy rise if a positive decision is made. Staying in could be labelled as greed but for me its more the frustration of missing the rise on a positive result after all this time, albeit that I have thought about de-risking on a few occasions recently., but have resisted. As always GLA.
Good points FF.
Ditto. I have trouble doing shorter posts. Lol.
Nick, it isn't greed. It is educated investing coupled with dogged determination to take a firm stand against the mistreatment of our Wulf by the authorities. The reason for investing remains unchanged, and we have overcome every obstacle to date. Long may we hold our nerve.
Nick, you're doing what all good investors should do, assess the risk/reward equation. There will be some people for whom the right decision would be to take profits now because they just can't afford to risk losing that profit and a good chunk of their original investment notwithstanding their belief the decision will be positive. Others have only invested money they can afford to lose and won't sell when the decision is announced regardless of which way it goes - for them the simple fact is that even if it's not now at some point that high grade iron ore is coming out of the ground and BEM is the only way to share in its value. Even that could change, however, over time so you have to be able to take the risk of ending up with nothing in order to win the biggest prize. Nothing new there. Just be as dispassionate as you can and don't make the wrong decision for your own circumstances.
Nick...And a stubborn resolve to see it through. :-)
I believe as you do that we will get a positive outcome which is why I am holding all my shares. I am curious as to what will be done to appease those against the mine and the impact this may have on the price if the decision isn't very concise and clear. I do wonder too how any protracted series of demonstrations might keep some big buyers away from the project until that is either solved or BEM begin to dig holes.
With around 250k shares (which is not a great deal but is significant to an un-wealthy me) I should really take my investment out and let the rest ride. The lack of liquidity if I wanted to buy back in and the belief that we will get the right outcome is what is preventing me. Greed? Educated decision making? Hope? Stupidity? All of these? We will find out.
Good luck all.
I guess the answer is not to get out of this quickly then Gambier. We have a world class deposit and our application would stand up in court as legally meriting the concession award. So if there is a short-term problem with the sp, that's all it will be. You are posting like a trader with a sound strategy, not maybe seeing too far beyond potential initial problems that may not even arise. I am trusting that Kurt would take immediate action, should we encounter any further bull.s from the Government, to protect our Company, its interests and its shareholders.
Nick, legally surely they can't give us a bad decision. In my opinion that is.
“A huge key point. Getting out of this before major lows will be very difficult on a bad decision”
It will be essentially impossible for the vast majority of people to get out at a price that isn't massively less than the current price. But that is a given. Anybody who doesn’t want to take that risk will presumably be banking profits as they go.
A huge key point. Getting out of this before major lows will be very difficult on a bad decision.
“Regardless of anyone's future plans here (buy, hold, sell) unfortunately this will become a further obstacle to anyone wanting to execute their chosen path. Liquidity is already a problem here, just look at all the price monitoring extensions being issued”
Trading is a complete mess. Everything is off book, relatively small trades fulfil delayed publication criteria. The market makers obviously don’t want to hold anything. We have to hope that much bigger investors will get involved following a positive decision or this is going to be very difficult to get out of quickly.
"All I can get on the II site is an indicative price for buying"
Regardless of anyone's future plans here (buy, hold, sell) unfortunately this will become a further obstacle to anyone wanting to execute their chosen path.

Just saying.

l am back in now l should never of sold out , just greed at the time, for give me lol
Absolutely Eric, sounds good to me and every chance. :)
You are only thinking about the other assets in BEM's portfolio, nothing wrong with that SJ. The Vardar news has been limited, not sure if there are issues with licences, can't remember, but Kurt seems enthusiastic about the target sites, so we may get a pleasant surprise one day with it. Finland seems to me the more immediate of the two projects. The recent news there was a real bonus, while we wait on Kal. No timescale for all projects, but when we receive the concession, I'm thinking we'll look most attractive for being gobbled up.
Absolutely something significant and a hurdle with more to come-derisking further and increasing value of the company. That's what excites me about Vardar, it's a massive IF but IF we strike quality grades and announce a discovery then as is the lifecycle blah blah this will fly hence the blue sky imo. Obviously it's rare to find an exceptional deposit but there is every chance.
Anyway, digressing a bit. Exciting times.
Hi SJ. Drama, let's have it. We mustn't forget we are only waiting on a simple decision in the life cycle of a junior miner. Bit of perspective. Lol.
Cheers Eric, nice to be in profit :) I can wait 2 months if needs be it just adds to the drama and allows us to climb higher pre decision? lol
You should be in a much better mood than that Roller...with the sp at 16p.
