Having a average of well over a £1, I wish I was buying at these prices. I had hoped a stronger dollar would have a good effect on the share price but not a lot of movement yet. Also hoping that the company keeps on going long enough to recoup my losses through the divis although I might not be around to see it!!

Getting back down to a level that is tempting to top up.

I cannot see any advantage in buying annuities even after the budget. You are not guaranteed to get your money back unless you take a smaller rate and they die with you(or after spouse) Surely better to maximise your income from drawdown until your pot is empty, then you only pay one lot of taxes also.

Starting to get near to the price that would be tempting to top up.

Slightly increased divi announced. Would like the share to start moving upwards, maybe when rates are cut but the last one didn't help.

MM that was last years dates, correct ones are a few messages back.

Any news on why share price has surged today.

Nice steady increase, 545 seems to be magic number judging by the number of automatic trades today. Barring any bad news should continue to tick up until the ex divi date.

I assume you are joking about premium bonds. For years now I have held more premium bonds than L and G and I am lucky to get one small prize a year...... Its down to luck maybe next month but I won't hold my breath!!!!

Why the jump today, another rumour or what??

I know the traders like lots of movement but I would prefer a steady increase. Still see this share as a win win, huge increase great to trade , if not great dividend that appears to be covered. What is not to like!!

This share is always going to trade in large range because of its dividend. If you trade with luck you can make some money. However if you hold you have the dividend which appears safe and the prospect of a takeover.

I don't personally think one is going to happen shortly, something would have leaked over the weekend or early today.(happy to proved wrong)

Been avoiding this for a while as a result of so many disappointments. Can some one explain the consolidation please. Is it a case of say holding 1000 old shares reducing to 100 new ones or far worse than that?.

Purchased at £2.30 inc fees. Bought in SIPP for dividend but will sell if go over £2.50 before next ex divi date. Share obviously bumped up on expectation of good news, not exactly what happened. If divi maintained share should rise if we get a base rate reduction which is looking more likely. Fingers crossed!!!

I have also topped up my holdings. Dividend due this month but no news of it yet...or have missed something?

Pump and dump, somebody is making good money out of these shares!!!
