Good points Treetop.
Its not bizarre eric ,just tells us he has another agenda. It could be for trading but I believe we have one or two malicious posters more linked to green objections like breca bonding. The eco conscience objectors are far more sophisticated than a few beardies glued to a door now. Quite capable of analysing economic issues on a public forum and using it to wage economic sabotage as well as a demo.
Yeah, I think it's bizarre behaviour Ed, but I suppose everyone is different. Mickey feels comfortable in his own unusual skin. Lol. Hoping for another good week. Best wishes.
Hi guys
Just like you two I find it somewhat weird that people who have no financial interest in this share continue to post negatively about it. I would never dream posting any comment, negative or positive about a share in which I have no financial interest. I have better things to do with my time.
The SP here and in Sweden is creeping up. Fingers crossed for another rise next week and hopefully some good news.
ATB to you both.
No brainer and stronger than ever.
Yes, Micktentoes...you are a bit weird.
Suzy2shoes
The sp has gone up this past week Mickey. Slating BEM while the sp is rising is a bit weird. Lol. But I do take your point.
Aktie up aktie down. Shake the permit all around. Government this government that... what was I doing? Why am I here? Oh wait I sold up ages ago on the share that does absolutely nothing. Good to see it doing what it does best. You're all mad for being here.
Well done! ;-)
Many thanks for the translation...just got a sense of it by watching. Very interesting speech, moving in fact. Thanks again
Thanks Def for your hard work - ATB....
By the way, my other big investment is CASP - just taken off today with the confirmation of a massive oil field - worth checking out next week ;)
When i listened to the debate i find the majority was positive to mines. The diffrent partys did however have opinions on how the permit process should be dealt with.
With the reserved partys thinking it was unessecary to take another step since: (Virger Lahnti (V))
"It is ongoing in the Government Offices, as many have mentioned, a preparation of the investigation's proposal for measures to possibly shorten the processing times for mining operations, but for that reason do not hesitate on the environmental aspects. Therefore, the announcement is unnecessary, in my and the Left Party's opinion"
More input from the reserved party: Åsa eriksson (S) to Helena Lindahl (C)
"Madam Speaker, We totally agree that things should not be drawn in the long bench unnecessarily, nor in the granting of permits. At present, we have about fifteen processes that mean that investments may fail or, even worse, end up in other parts of the world that have considerably poorer environmental legislation. It is none of us who wants to. I therefore suggest that the Center Party cooperate on finding ways to solve this, so that we get a predictable and effective and very wise and sustainable licensing.."
Just a note on my previous posts
I find it wierd that Google translate translated "Norberg, Västermanland" To "Western Germany", thats the wrong country.
And also, Madam President should be something like: Madam Speaker.
Thank you 'Definition' as your posts certainly help set the scene of some very positive attitude to mining and if BEM has done their job well on their environmental and sustainability proposals, we should be in a very good position.
Hm, you cannot edit posts after posting here in the forums?
anyway: its under "protokoll för debatten" if you don't find it.
Haha, now i saw that there was a protocol published on the site. oh well. I didn't know that they minded putting that up when the video record the debate. So nevermind. Sure gotta be better then mine. Just translate that yourselfs on the site.

Work is ongoing in the Government Offices and on our authorities. Therefore, the fact that the state in this situation would direct an announcement to the government concerning shorter and simpler permit processes, I do not see as meaningful. Madam President, for the mining industry and industry to develop throughout the country, it is important that it exists in a surrounding society that works. Because it requires investments in the supply of skills and substantial investments in infrastructure and welfare, it is therefore welcome that in the government we have agreed to the construction of the North Botany Line and that investments in rail maintenance are needed, which is needed for the mining industry to be able to develop. I am proud of the patchwork in Olsp voltage, proud of our history and of the fact that we in Sweden jointly care for each other and for sustainable conditions for growth and development. In the Swedish bedrock there are seeds for the future. And the conditions for future climate innovations. A Sweden that agrees with the social democratic goal also as the area of ??mineral policy. Thanks
Swedish innovation and Swedish equality spread across the world. Madam President. The need for raw materials is increasing lavaly when people achieve a standard of living where both refrigerators and bicycles and mobile phones are possible while we are today dependent on metals and minerals from Congo and China. Not least to achieve the important objectives of the Paris Agreement. The need for lithium found in Swedish bedrock is, among other things, increased by 250% by the year 2030, these minerals are needed. For our growth, for innovation and for changing to a sustainable society. It is better that they are broken in a sustainable way. Responsible way here than in places with significantly worse conditions and consequences elsewhere on earth. To have access to important minerals, they are a strength and reduce our vulnerability therefore we must continue and develop a sustainable mining industry in Sweden. Madam President. I am aware that the licensing processes are long to remain at the forefront, and to be competitive, it is important to have an efficient and predictable licensing process. It needs landowners, it needs reindeer owners, it needs housing and it primarily needs the Swedish mining industry. If we have the right system and the right processes, then I think it is quite possible with an effective licensing process while we do not renounce important natural values ??and other things that we want to preserve.
What I want to say with this is that the minerals are our base, our access, our livelihood, have always been so and will hopefully always remain so. They lie where they are. Until we decide to use them. The mines are the backbone and engine of the Swedish industry, they must be handled with care, wisdom and through generations, contributions to innovation and industrialization. We Social Democrats want to use the mineral industry in a wise and responsible manner with consideration and sustainability for everyone. Madam President, Sweden accounts for 90% of all iron ore in the EU. Our iron ore mines are located in Norrbotten. We are the largest producer of lead and zinc. And a great producer of many other base metals. The mines are located in Norrbotten, also in Västerbotten, the valleys and in Örebro county. We also have the break in frame in Bjuv in Skåne and the mining industry is thus spread across Sweden and but is usually far from the big cities, about 7.5k people are employed directly in the mining industry. The enumeration factor is usually counted with times 3 but how many indirectly employed so it is here a large industry that gives huge income to Sweden. We are a rather small but leading mining nation. We should be proud of that. Our mines and mining companies are at the forefront of productivity and digitization and we have world-leading companies that supply equipment to mines worldwide. Here, jobs are created outside the university's locations and here the major technology shift takes place. The switch to battery vehicles underground, which can once again put Sweden on the map. We can produce green minerals. In the coherent Swedish company Epiroc recently had to deliver a pink mining drill to a mine in Mongolia and the Swedish woman who is the business area manager went there and handed over the keys for this was the first mine in Mongolia where one had employed women underground.
Because there was little confusion about what was said in the debate, I took the time and wrote down what at least what the Social Democrats said so you can also take part of it.
However, it is quite a lot since she spoke for some minutes, but try to post it here.
Åsa Eriksson (S)
Thank you very much, Madam President. Now is the time to talk about the important issue of mineral policy. It is a basic industry for Sweden that contributes with solid growth but also brings complex issues. When it comes to mineral policy, we are often forced to make difficult decisions. But basically this is an ancient industry that forms the basis of today's prosperity and civil society. I would like to begin by applauding the committee's proposal in the report, rejecting all motions except reservation 1, which I call for approval. In Norberg in western Germany there was already in the 1100s a cab site here iron was produced in a blast furnace, the iron was made by mountain-farming farmers and the location at Svartån gave hydro power to the cab and the large forest also gave charcoal to the cab drive, you can read about in the echo museum the barn ecology. This is Europe's oldest known blast furnace, in Norberg in western Germany. It is one of a lot of blast furnaces in western Germany. As a SO teacher, I have taught students that the iron that was broken in the mountain layers became the foundation of our prosperity and industrial society. Västerås and Stockholm were really ports for the iron that was exported to the rest of the country and which gave us the economic position we have today.
Taken from the RNS issued on the 15th April 2019:
"The Company is actively communicating with the Government with regards to the Exploitation Concession for Kallak North. It has been confirmed that the Kallak application is being prioritised, an acknowledgement by the Government that the Company has been waiting an excessive period of time for a decision. The Company expects, and it is reasonable to do so, that a decision will be taken, by the Government, before the summer."
Kurt Budge usually uses his words in a considered way, so this particular part of the RNS would be considered quite careless/reckless, unless of course he has some insight?
Here's hoping...
I don't think anyone on this BB believed that the vote yesterday had a direct effect on the Wulf. It was the political will behind it that will see this SP rise in the next few weeks. If it's all in hand let's see it.....
Where the government "reserved" opinion in yesterday's debate, it was because they asserted that they had the matter already in hand..maybe so...but now we know what was or is in hand. In which case ADF is right....i'ts all done and dusted and in the post...carrier pidgeon.
