Can't believe how tedious this has become. Only meaningful action this year appears to be a letter to the Minister then an update, the substance of which might be questionable.
Our application is, we are told, entirely in order. It will, by now, have been read many times, by civil servants if not Ministers, and if it was not, the company would have been told. Therefore, one must question what the issue is in approving this.
KB should be actively chasing this, weekly, for a decision. A vague, by the summer, just isn't good enough. This is a simple yes or no.
People waking up and handing their shares to the Swedes. Let them carry the can for the poor investment environment.
Nothing wrong with that, just as long as it didn't win.
watching Eurovision tonight , I quite liked the Norway entry until I found out it had a part sung in native Sami and waved their flag as well. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Sooz. x
Hi Pocko. Yes, our continued support has been undeniable, but I feel it isn't to be taken as unbreakable. Further waiting into summer, without news of planned action from the Swedes to draw this saga to a conclusion, would be highly unacceptable. The new ministers have been in their posts for many months now. Best wishes.
Morning gentlemen. Here's another song. Have a nice weekend.

I totally agree EricDraven... otherwise it’s a drift into September. I think we’ve demonstrated enough ‘patience’!
Quiet today. I think the tumbleweed has taken another good old roll this week. A month now since the Swe-Gov was apparently prioritising our application, so another month and we'll be almost into summer. Just saying. Not long now then, but if we have no action from Sweden, I'll be wanting some from Kurt. Best wishes all.

oops
Beowulf (AIM: BEM; Spotlight: BEO), the Nordic focused mineral exploration and development company, announces that as at 30 April 2019, there were 367,090,942 Swedish Depository Receipts representing 62.36 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company. The remaining issued share capital of the Company is held in the UK.
going up - all the more natives to annoy;

A very neat summary, sir.
Not wanting to get into any debate re Brexit/EU at this time, the Sweden Democrats were advocating policies of big change, as they saw fit, to address some real concerns, and thus, wanting to represent others. The sami do not! Disgracefully, anyone wanting to change the machine, is now smeared as holding extreme views, in an attempt to close down debate. This is not helpful, it causes deeper division. Imo only. atb
Here is the perversity of Swedish bureaucracy at work. Whilst they have sideline the Sweden Democrats who polled almost 18% of the votes last September, they are capricious enough to weigh the opinions of the Sami and the Greens far more highly.
In sweden’s case, in my view, it is because their politicians are a particularly weak bunch who would rather chew off their own arms rather than court conflict with traditional, old world values.
They will come a cropper in a dramatic fashion, and very soon.
Now you do surprise me. Western Governments have been moving to a post democratic age for the last thirty years! Minority groups? … they don’t care two Monkey’s what the majority of people think. Try money!!! atb
The published process died long ago.
This is now a stand off between the government and the company, with onlookers ( Sami and Greens ) wielding far too much influence, when the law could and should have decided it in 2015.
Well, I have never seen this process as a question of “bottle”! atb
Show me your evidence.
You have been saying this for years and the company is no nearer a decision.
Wishful thinking, nothing more.
Chill out, waste of energy....it will happen.
KB has painted himself into a corner with his before the summer comment.
What is reasonable or unreasonable passes the swedes by. As long as they make no decision, they are calling KB’s bluff.
I don’t believe he has the bottle to do a damned thing come the end of June when no decision is made. It is just a few short weeks away now. I have zero expectation of a decision. It will be interesting to hear what KB says then.
My guess he will push the Finland and Kosovo angle, both of which are side shows, in my opinion.
As usual, it is left to investors conjecture as the swedes remain implacable in their silent indecision.
ATB.
Afternoon. Baylan may well be in the same mould as Damberg. However, KB has now put a firm marker down, with his choice of words. He has told us all, that it is reasonable to expect a decision from the Government before the summer! If however, the Government fails to make a decision before the summer, then KB would have to make a marked response to this unreasonable unexpectation. Anything other, then his own stock would plummet with many. Fair comment? ……… Imo only. atb
I see the department for industry couldn't even be a*sed to put something on the agenda this time. Planning their hols no doubt.
