Some time ago, the lady from UNESCO said "We can expect a response soon"
From an organisation that takes 7 months to answer such a simple question , I guess we should have known that "Soon"didnt actually mean soon.................
Pmsl.
Afternoon.. â19 Million Tonnesâ?.....Lets see now - 19 Million@ say $50 P/T Net? = $950 MillionâŚâŚ 828 Million shares in issue = $1.147p/sâŚ. And todayâs S/P is 0.415P, having got the backing from the MI years ago! 0.415 is the reflection of the Governmentâs meddling, and that means you Mr Baylan â Minister for innovation and enterprise, in a pro â mining Nation, is a little fib!!!!.... âGreen transitionâ? Investors in the Kallak project are climate â justice warriors. What more do you want I wonder? Now swallow you medicine man - âConcession firstâ!!! lol..atbâŚâŚ
Things are getting better every day...and they've just got 19 million tons better. Have a happy day everyone, the Sun's going to shine on us later on, I think. :-)
Give them to Baylan, maybe that'll give him some incentive to do his job
Mal. I'll take one for the team if LB doesn't want them
Weird isn't it Prof. Maybe they are all buys, including that recent whopper at 3.2p. Not sure why anyone would sell that many, even if it's a former buyer at the 3.16p discount fundraise price. Not much of a notch up if it's a sell. We've had a resource upgrade and people are selling large amounts after that news seems a bit unusual.
I'm clueless again matey.
Hi Aug. Yes, I feel that's spot on. UNESCO can make comments but not recommendations on our case, considering this is to do with a mining project that is located well outside of their WH site of interest and surely nothing really to do with them. Any recommendation would quickly be classed as unreasonable interference, as a bare minimum, by Kurt.
Only my view.
I bought a cheeky 100000 earlier but didnât do much good ,I was hoping to put it into lbjj s name so he could be a a proper shareholder like the rest of us on here, lol ,
Delayed trades rather
Whatâs with all the chunky afternoon trades?
Evening. Stefan Lofven will want to lead a party that is pro â mining/ pro â Green mining into the next election (miming concerns the Swedish voter).. Today, they are seen as neither, a positive decision on Kallak would provide both.. We do not want any recommendations from UNESCO, because itâs not a matter for them.. Imo only atb..
Kallak, I agree that he has no intention of getting them in yet, because we still have a strong chance of a decision coming after the UNESCSO comments, and he hasn't done so prior, because it would have made our position in Sweden very difficult. Now though, we have a Boliden precedent, climate change emergency and focus globally on that, and if forced into it, as in, if Baylan instigates some further nonsensical delay, Kurt, in my view, will take action in order to protect our interests. If it is clear that Kallak will never be allowed to be mined with us involved, albeit one could argue that is already the case. So, I was saying he doesn't intend to, but he will take action if the avenue to mine Kallak is continually being obstructed, without an end in sight.
After UNESCO, what else can possibly prevent a decision, based on all known and emerging factors in favour of a mine?
Hi Sooz. Yes, and I think we've established that communication isn't always two-way. As long as we keep our communication going we are doing the right thing. x
Potential mining life...wow, that's going to have the anti mining activists really worried, we'll have them on here in droves.
'Push comes to shove, it will all be in our favour if Kurt has to get the lawyers in........'
Read this Eric...... Budge has NO INTENTION OF GETTING ANY LAWYERS IN.
If Budge had intention, he would have done so by now!
He is very happy indeed with his ÂŁ100k+ PA salary, thank you very much!
Yes, Eric...that's the whole points of a communication, it's on record and that makes it meaningful in my book.
Hi Lb. What those letters and communications are though, is at least a factual record of what we've done, the part we've played in this farce of a process. Push comes to shove, it will all be in our favour if Kurt has to get the lawyers in. As will the KU report.
No, I certainly don't feel Kurt has gone backwards, more that Sweden has. But there is pressure on for Sweden not to become an investment black hole. Everything points to a Kallak approval. In my opinion. Once UNESCSO submits its comments, there are no places for Baylan left to hide. Unless he's willing to force us to take legal action. What a national embarrassment that would be. Surely the Boliden situation has opened a few eyes. Even his.
Enough isn't enough for me. I've been in this for nearly eleven years, Kurt has just updated our resource estimate and in the RNS today mentions the resource potentially supporting a 40 year mining life.
Have a good Bank Hol weekend.
Cheers Lb.
Iâm afraid I donât share some of the sentiment around âgetting closerâ. I think Baylan has set out his stall (âsandbaggingâ) in an attempt to kick the can so far down the road it is out of sight.
I understand Kurtâs approach of making this an environmental play (and I whole heartedly believe it is).
I think the only chance of getting a decision is if massive pressure comes to bear on baylan
Good...thanks Kurt and All, I'm pleased with all the work done.
Well, KallakRidiculous, I'll second that, by which I mean I agree that we are getting closer and I'd also add the company is making good progress; I'm satisfied with that and the upgrade is very good news, as Eric has already said using a new technique, ten years on, it could have been a downgrade
'We are getting closer, I feel.........'
Total *******s!
Morning Eric,
Shouldnât have any bearing but does, sadly.
Baylan is busy piling up the sandbags to get him through to the next election.
Serious question, Eric. For you, are we not already well beyond the enough is enough stage. Budge has gone backwards, in my opinion.
RNS states the company continues to engage with politicians in Sweden.
I just don't find that credible. Sending letters and emails periodically which are ignored is not meaningful communication in my book.
Sooz, I agree with you. All of Baylan's talk of next year etc does not and should not have any bearing on our application, which, as we know, has been in the melting pot since 2013. I do feel UNESCO will have to be pressed for its comments by the Government, but it's up to Kurt to press the Government to get on with it. The length of time UNESCO has had our case for comment is already inexcusable.
Baylan doesn't want to make a decision it really seems, but Kurt will have to find a way of making it impossible for him not to.
We are getting closer, I feel, but Baylan needs leaning on. Big Stef must be aware of what's occurring, so perhaps Kurt can put the PM under the spotlight instead, to embarrass the Swedes into finally playing fair.
The KU report needs to raise its head again perhaps.
Night night. X
