Andy, the Swedes are saying this will or could delay our decision by possibly years as EVERYTHING will need resubmitting and looking at.. what's your thoughts please..
Yes I sort of figured that caretaker govt would probably mean no decision....
Morning Wots...Right definitely and I regret having to admit that cos I incline just a little to the Left myself. However, it's not so good if we have a caretaker government, we've already had one of those and it could be that no decision will be made until after the next election and we've already been there as well.
Every solution without the Green Party is a winner for us.
I guess that good or bad depends on who comes in. What do you think Suzy, which side is most to our favour, left or right.

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Sweden's parliament voted to oust Prime Minister Stefan Lofven in a no-confidence motion on Monday, giving the Social Democrat leader a week to either resign and hand the speaker the job of finding a new government, or call a snap election.
The nationalist Sweden Democrats had seized the chance to call the vote last week after the formerly communist Left Party withdrew its support for centre-left government over a plan to ease rent controls for new-build apartments.
Lofven's shaky minority coalition with the Green Party has relied on support in parliament from two small centre-right parties and the Left Party since a tight election in 2018.
With parliament deadlocked, it is not clear to whom the speaker could turn to form a new administration, while opinion polls suggest the centre-left and centre-right blocs are evenly balanced, meaning an snap election might not bring clarity.
A new government - or a caretaker regime - would only sit until a general election scheduled for September next year. It is the first time a Swedish prime minister has ever been ousted by a no-confidence motion put forward by the opposition.
PM ousted - ha ha ha ha ha
Baylan has already lost his own no confidence vote when the KU report was published 7 months ago and it had no impact.
This no confidence vote has no direct connection to Kallak so will also have no impact.
I think its a lot of noise that will distract from the mining decision. But lets see.
I'm not sure what affect this will have with Beowulf's concession..
Based on the govt lack of decision and what appears to be negativity towards mining, that sounds like a good thing. In reality probably just more turmoil and delay. Unless of course, they jump to an award hoping the news of jobs boost and income gives them a votes boost.
The news here in Cyprus are saying that P M Lofven will lose a vote of no confidence tomorrow.
Something's going to happen next week sure enough....surprised no comment about it. Will the PM survive the vote of no confidence...will the Left come to heel on the rents issue...will there be a caretaker government once again???
Just as well for them that nothing happens that quickly in Sweden hahaha
According to the latest figures from Sifo for the period 1-17 June the Green Party are polling 3.5 which mean's they'd fail to qualify for seats in the Rikstag if there were an election tomorrow.
It was a good quick follow-up from KB with the last letter. Lets hope he keeps the pressure on
Morning All. How will things look on Monday, I wonder?
Wots, I think Kurt has come to expect this type of thing at our AGMs now. Infiltration by the anti-miners. They've done this before. Things are hotting up now that the UNESCO comments are in. Baylan is, in my view, wriggling in quicksand after Kurt's last letter. Lol.
40 years, Wots...at least. :-)
Agreed Eric. They came with what they thought were de-railing comments and these were just knocked out of the park.
The land belongs to the swedish govt (and people). They want the mining and the taxes.
Whilst the mine is there, co-existence is easy. After 30 years, they can have it back.
They were anti-mining questions which were answered comprehensively. In my opinion.
Sami Herder Friends - they shouldn't be asking questions at the AGM if they are not Shareholders. Would we be able to ask questions in the sami parliament? Nope, as with most other sami.
The questions came from these guys.

This question is a cracker. It seems that someone thinks we just rolled up and started exploring hahaha
