Feck me some moaning on here. Let's see what the next 12 months brings and if nothing significant happens then fair enough.. otherwise, pay your money take your chances. It's a micro cap company... We either make it or we don't. There's scope for real development here so let's see. It's something we've not been able to do with kallak for nearly a decade.
Oak tree,
Budge took over ( sic ) in October 2014, since which time he has earned approx £1.33m in salary plus shedloads of share options.
SP when he took over not much different from today.
Don’t forget, he didn’t even submit the application for the exploitation license, which was lodged 18 months before he landed.
Shares in issue were approx a quarter of today’s figure.
He was not expecting to receive the license, clearly, as he had nothing planned for the immediate aftermath.
He has, in the past 12 months asserted on more than one occasion, that he is in substantive discussions with significant partners for Kallak. I don’t believe that can be true.
He has squandered £3.5m on Kosovo, for what? A few mediocre drill results, which say so little.
Imagine what £3.5m could have done to further prove up Kallak, both north and south.
Budge made a huge PR error when trumpeting the scoping study waffle. He would not shut up about a 14 year mine life. Crass, naive and stupid. 14 years = nobody is interested.
Finland is a basket case. I am completely bewildered as to what, if anything, is happening on the ground. Who is paying to build the processing plant? Who is paying for the workforce? Who is paying for the raw materials? Why isn’t Budge progressing the exploitation license?
After 12 months in post ( daft salary plus shares ) Ulla hasn’t achieved anything tangible. Did the PFS require a full blown director for what is a clerical exercise? Not in my opinion.
I could go on, but I’ll sign off by reminding people that Budge’s weak and stuttering ( still ) presentations to fourth rate media companies and Swedish old folks homes are still the same presentations he was giving 3 or 4 years ago. Pathetic.
Smoke and mirrors doesn’t come close.
Still, Suzy, to day is the spring equinox, so tomorrow you’ll be 1 hour closer to the next shovelling of your dosh over to Kosovo.
Tinpot BS merchant, your mr Budge.
I agree, this BB used to be filled with real conversations about how this could play out but those people left a long time ago when they realised that things wouldn’t happen in their lifetime…I suspect they moved onto other AIM stock with better prospects based on the leadership of those companies. To be honest, most FTSE companies will have outperformed BEM.
Nope, I’m not filtering people out, I dip in for the fun! It beats reality tv and with world news being what it is, this BB offers me a little light relief. I would guess that Kurt dips in too, and he must wonder what he’d have to actually do to lose the hard BEM lifers!!! I loved that recent comment in a stream when asked about priorities…he replied ’returning a little value to shareholders’…cheeky little monkey! Sub 2p and little news likely for Q1 efforts, I’m guessing Q2, Q3 and Q4 won’t contain anything tangible, just more upstream, downstream bo11ox…
…he’ll be heading to another mining conference in Kazakhstan or Kimberley and pressing retweet on the endless possibilities.
Just out of interest, anyone know when he took over, what the sp was and how many shares in issue? I’d be keen to see the reality in simple numbers of where we are today under his stewardship? I’d also love to know how much salary he’s drawn as all these numbers would tell an interesting story!!!
Looking forward to the next instalment…
Oaktree, I've filtered all the nutjobs that talk about gardening, the universe and the summer solstice... and about owning share certificats, widows, hope, beliefs, owning ticker machines and finding certificates under floorboards - This used to be a serious discussion board about a company with aspiration.
And the irony of a successful fundraise? It fell short of expectations, there will be another raise in 12-months, likely a bridging loan, then equity. And to mild amusement, some here didn't even get issued shares on time.
As I've stated previously, this fundraise doesn't draw a line in the sand, from which we move on and all is well.
Some here don't seem to understand that Budge can issue equity in perpetuity, issue billions of shares, share consolidate, and then start again.
Shock horror, he could even change the name of the company.
Other than that disaster in Kosovo, when have the drill bits really turned under his stewardship?
It's a results business. Q2 is upon us...
Blimey Oaktree, that was a longie. Hope you are feeling better after that.
Have a good weekend.
Forever a BEMliever ??
'And perhaps you could learn a bit about The Universe, Pocko...it's awe inspiring and it'll calm you down a bit...you'll be bit more hopeful and optimistic. like me. :-)'
...wtf...??? I'm not sure what the sp has to trade at until people like this realise that they're (or their...tut tut..or even there're...tut tut tut!!!) simply deluded. Wow, talk about pruning the roses...there clearly are people who throw money at the problem!!!
I thought that Kurt might be wondering whether the BEM ship might be floundering...but nope...there's hope!!! People are still backing the little elf in an anorak. F@#k me…he lives a charmed life…Pocko, let it go…this little fella could well fund raise under a penny…and from what I'm reading Suzy will optimistically part with £££s along with others!
This is becoming a must-see disaster TV series…I said that BEM would be trading under the fundraise price but I figured that would happen next winter when the empty promises finally came home and the ice returned to remind all of us that BEM has not produced anything for another year. The fact that we’re in Spring…the most optimist time for a miner in Sweden and the sp continues to fall beggars belief!
The last time we saw a share price like this was 2014 and the dilution was yet to happen…the Kurt era has literally killed this company. I’m now here to watch out of fascination the remarkable death of a non-existent exploration company – next milestone…sub penny!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would have thought that so many people could literally profit using other people's money?!?
Best of luck to you Ripley. Hope you’ll do well with those buys.
Have a decent weekend.
Bought twice today at 2p ( spread 5.26% ) as two orders went through at same time .
Had a GTC order on since Rights Issue in Sweden only, and a UK retail offer via Primary bid . ( for a lower 2p )
And placed another order same number of shares from time to time since 6th February at 2.01p.
Placing price was 2.06p took 46 days patience , to get them .
Only really wanted the one tranche .
tut tut...grammar...they're careful...let's hope they will be.
Let's hope their careful then...they wouldn't want to loose it, would they?
And the board paid for their participation in the rights issue with... their actually cash payrise.
And perhaps you could learn a bit about The Universe, Pocko...it's awe inspiring and it'll calm you down a bit...you'll be bit more hopeful and optimistic. like me. :-)
You can say they failed in the task ahead and I'll agree with you....when they fail that is...this year will be the big test. The company has to have funds to do the work and they've achieved those funds..
And it's an ill wind blows nobody any good....we can maybe mop up a few extra, eh?
The price when that RNS was issued? 5.25p...
I reckon a few would chew their arm off for that price today.
Talk about rewarding failure.
Quite right Pocko...but it's the Vernal Equinox not the Summer Solstice and hopefully it will be weeks not months before this turbulence settles. :-)
From the 8th July 2022...
"Long Term Incentive Plan and Grant of Options
Beowulf (AIM: BEM; Spotlight: BEO) announces that the Board has approved the implementation of a new long-term incentive plan available to eligible employees of the Company ("LTIP" or the "Plan").'
How's that working out?
It's only money... Daffodils are blooming and the summer solstice will soon be upon us. What's few more years?
Afternoon. Bad day here for us shareholders. A good number of miners/explorers down though. MATD, KEN to name but two.
It isn't nice to joke about someone's grammar, sorry, I'll plead special circumstances and I'll try my utmost not to ever do it again
Clive has leaved....Lol.
Sorry but that's so funny. :-)
Manro, it isn’t a scam. A Government has awarded our company a mining concession, following intense scrutiny of our application.
lbjj,
Yes, you are right. And I am almost sure that it was a scam from the very beginning when Clive S-P was in helm. I have even written a comment about it just after his leave. Therefore Clive has leaved and been replaced by KB. The only question is if KB has had a knowledge of the scam or main shareholder at that time has just used him as an idiot?
Yes yes, it's all very horrible, Mr "can't say yes" :)
Kurt.. you've said on many occasions that you are going to improve your communication skills with share holders... As we are now dancing around 1p now might be a good time to get talking..FFS this is sad to see, and yes I'm balls Deep in this..
