"Eric,
Suzy has played this stock like a fiddle, buying low, selling high (15p), buying low again. Don’t let her play you"
Where is the logic in that?
I'd like to say thanks Andy for the link and thanks Aug and thanks Eric for your comments, but it would sound ridiculous, like I was getting an Oscar or something. Lol.
4-years could of course take us to the backend of 2026, but then who knows? Even Budge looks completely world-weary.
100% retail shareholder owned - There you go Maddog... No institutional investors.
What's another year on top EricDraven?
2026?
Thanks for the link Andy. Nice to see Kurt with a collar and tie on and a suit. Pleased about that. He does mention Kal and Grafintec as being “production stories in the next four years” instead of “three years” in the video though, so I’m hoping he actually doesn’t mean we are already looking at 2027 and not 2026. Let’s trust he slipped up, but of course he may be including the remainder of this year, I don’t know for certain. He should perhaps have been more careful. Specifically stating the actual year would have confirmed it. Simple enough. His nervous laugh when mentioning the sp indicates he’s embarrassed about where we are. I’m glad about that.
Thanks for sharing.
Aug, if we wait too long to secure a partner we won’t have an sp left. Why not focus on what we do know instead of guessing what may or may not be occurring behind the scenes? It’s been an entire year of sp slide since the concession award and nothing has countered it. We have vague timescales for the work taking us through the year and now spilling over into 2024. I’m sure some of us are concerned about the alleged ‘inflection points’ actually happening. As Johnthegolf also mentioned, we could be in serious trouble come the next fundraise. Kurt must find a way to increase the sp and very soon. Last year was described by him as “transformational” but the sp reflects otherwise. A fact. You mention Kal being a political play, but now we aren’t relying on the Government or waiting a decision perhaps influenced by politics, we are back in charge of our own progress. The Land and Environment Court will make a legal decision on the Sami objection, not a political one. My point being, since the concession was awarded, the company itself has been free to carve its own path and a year has passed in a flash, with nothing progressive really having any positive impact on our fortunes. The news hasn’t been good enough, and the plans to move the business forward still lack any real structure. We will start a PFS sometime in Q2, as an example.
That’s where we are. In my opinion.
Jonny, hi matey. She won’t play me and I’m pleased she did well from her trading. We now do have different experiences from our time here though, which we will both no doubt bear in mind.
Best wishes.
Hi Lb. I do accept that your comments are meant in good faith, but my relationship with Suzy is exactly that, just between myself and Suzy. We do disagree with each other, as we are at the moment, but she has never turned on me and I very much doubt she will. We are friends. She knows my position here, and I hers. We can fall out and that’s ok. It’s healthy. Just as we can also agree on many things. It doesn’t matter if I don’t believe she’s correct regarding the management’s performance, because if it turns out that she’s correct I’ll be over the moon. Although of course, I need to see the evidence, and there currently isn’t any forthcoming to support the notion that everything is being undertaken with a high level of competency.
Lb, thanks though.
Eric,
Suzy has played this stock like a fiddle, buying low, selling high (15p), buying low again. Don’t let her play you!
Many here, myself included, were of the belief that Budge was busy beavering away in the background. When then licence was issued, that myth was dispelled.
You've lost me aug... Investors have seen neither dollars or pounds from Beowulf Mining PLC. Fact.
What tangible progress has there been on Kallak since the issuance of the exploitation licence?
Logic = $$$$$$$$$$
Case theory...
Evening.. Suzy2, good comments, well done! Given the quality of all the Kallak data to date, given the global demand for such is to become greater, together with many other important fundamentals – EU/Green transition, market location, Green steel etc, etc, then it’s inconceivable to imagine that no serious player has not registered full interest in Kallak’s future with BEM before today.. If, KB has indeed been in serious negotiations with other(s) re Kallak’s future, we would not be given any details prior to some agreement to report (detailed discussion(s) not recorded?). Record of any such meeting(s) having taken place, well, he has reported discussions with others including potential partners in the RNS’s.. So he would be good on that!
So why nothing to report on the money front? Anyone’s guess! As the conditions/caveats attached, are “far – reaching”, perhaps there is some reluctance to commit until all of the legal details within any Environmental permits are known (TPA = $) Perhaps some hold off until the appeal outcome is known, although I would doubt that as that could be easily covered with straight caveats.. Perhaps, nothing or something else.. This has been, and does remain hugely political. …Who knows! Imo.. atb……..
Eric,
I am going to speak plainly and honestly to you and hope that you accept my comments in the spirit in which they are offered.
Suzy2 will be all fluffy and charming with you as long as you show no dissent to her deluded ramblings.
She will turn on you as she turns on everyone who is realistic about Budge's fundamental failure.
You deserve better friends than that.
“……Management…..”
Sooz, I won’t comment further on your “management as creative not slack” post, I have to think of my mental health, lol, so I’ll say I’m happy to disagree but also pleased that you hold your own view.
We are both invested and want to see BEM and Kurt succeed. That’s the main thing. I am just less convinced than you perhaps, at this current time, and for the reasons I’ve given.
Enjoy your weekend. x
PS I think of the Management as creative not slack. :-)
Eric...We've been friends long enough to carry a small disagreement...they set a date, end of 23-24 and that's good enough for me; it's only nine months away (dare I say it but it's a fact). I don't need a weekly update...they're managing it not us.
I hope the sun comes out tomorrow, we could do with some brightening up. Days are getting longer...what else can I say except try to cheer up a bit and best wishes. x
Sooz/TFE. Regarding the talk of “extraction” being a misleading term used on the Jokkmokk Iron site, then it disappearing from the main page, I have found mention of it within the ‘FAQ’ section. If you find the ‘FAQ’ from the menu icon (top right), then click on ‘FAQ’, you’ll see the heading ‘Om Bolaget’. If you then look at the second post down titled ‘Vad är Beowulf Mining för bolag?’ and click on that, what comes up is the bit you mentioned TFE re the extraction. It translates via Google as this:
“ Beowulf Mining is a mining company with main activities in exploration and extraction with operations in Sweden, Finland and Kosovo. The extraction consists primarily of iron ore, graphite, gold and other base metals. Beowulf Mining was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in London, England. Beowulf is listed on two trading venues, Spotlight in Stockholm and AIM (Alternative Investment Market) in London. About 77 percent of the shareholders are Swedes.”
Just for info.
You are right Sooz, so, equally, it should be known when exactly that work will commence and how long it will take to complete. With the PFS for Kal, as an example, why haven’t we been informed when exactly in Q2 this work will commence? That date should be known, if indeed Q2 is indicated. Otherwise why not Q3?
You may not see this as a problem, but it is very slack management really, because it lends itself to project drift and ultimately leaves the market wholly unimpressed.
Even though we may not agree with each other at the moment, the sp, in my view, is largely reflective of managerial performance.
Have a pleasant weekend. x
Hi John, yes, it’s a very real concern for many of us I’m sure. We can’t just bobble along like we are doing. News surely has to be more abundant now and highly informative.
Best wishes.
That should read the Exploitation Application.
Submitting an Environmental Application isn't a hope it's a lot of work, paper work, field work and lab work ..and it's a physical thing written on paper and sent to the Environmental Court in the post. The Application filled a small suitcase or maybe it was a medium sized one by the time all extras were added to it. And the PFS isn't a hope either, it's a substantial document.
