New guitar? Nice one! I'm an ex singer and bass player, gave up when I bought my bem shares lol I use the FB site too. Worth keeping an eye on, and Avanza too.
lol. I found this site really useful for keeping up to date with BEM. Use it with the facebook group site and the Avanza one and you'll be pretty up to date on everything. Happy to read all useful info posted. I'm happy with my position on this share and feel very confident of making a significant profit (I'm already in profit - but why should believe me/care?) Once this gets me where I want to be I'll be parking my winnings and getting me a decent guitar (thinking; Gibson J45 or Martin D28? Hmmm...). I think that's a few months off (never said that before!) I'm happy for anyone who makes something out of this - god, we deserve it after all this time. Can't be ars*d with posters who just want to "warn" us of the dangers - believe me, I've been here 7 years and know ALL about it! Spare us please....
I read this board because there is useful information here (I hope I contribute a little too). There are a number of lths here that gave built up a rapport over the years we've been waiting. We've got a shared burden. However I don't know any of you, never met any of you and have no reason to believe you if you say if you have a billion shares or you've sold up/bought big/topped up/whatever (unless you post as it happens of course). That's not an insult! Why should I care? Even if you're telling the truth it shouldn't make any difference to me. I admit I used to post this kind of info but don't bother now. All I'm after from this board is the sharing of useful information that can be seen to be genuine. Anything else is just fluff. Guess I'll be Billy no mates after that!
" just to clarify the reason for me leaving " I didin't want it clarifying, just to last much longer... Well said Eric.
..... and he’s back within a few days of ANOTHER theatrical ‘never to return again’ departure. Maybe he ought to stop insulting other posters who reasonably question his posts before he claims to be the abused.
Come on Ed, be reasonable. The "supposedly" was because you said to me you hadn't sold the lot, that you had retained 1.1 million, but then a few days ago it turns out you had sold the lot. The word "supposedly" is because you posted conflicting information. I am not at fault. My question was to clarify which it actually was. Your reactiom was rubbish, but I'm glad that I spotted the discrepancy. Others can draw whatever opinion they like, but I asked the question for my own benefit and I'm glad that I did. Your response however, was unexpected, but has told me much. I wish you well, regardless.
Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated. I don't intent to post any opinions or ideas as I just get insulted by the same few posters, but I will be having a look at the site a couple of times a day as there is a lot of useful info posted by a number of guys, yourselves included. Just to clarify the reason for me leaving. As I said I respected Eric and classed him as a friend. I wasn't upset about him referring back to my old posts. What did really upset me was his subsequent post to lbjj, "I was curious his selling was actually on a different occasion to the one most of us remember, where he supposedly didn't sell the lot. Lol" It was the word "supposedly" that did it for me. Anyway, all water under the bridge now. I will be back to congratulate all of the old stalwarts when our well deserved big day comes, hopefully in the not too distant future. atb
Time will tell aug59... all investors can do is wait and do our own research.
Morning. From past reading LKAB are producing fine grade ore. I have no idea if their grades are on par to that of Kallaks finest. KLAB have stated in recent times that they are ambitious to expand and the importance to mine premium grade ore whenever possible. The mining industry over recent years are having their policies influenced more by those who are charged with environmental protection. It is now said, that all who are involved are of the same objective, where and when possible, that high grade ore should be mined first. Its process, emits less CO2s. The practice is with many big players around the globe, to expand a resource in search of high grade first. The thinking is, tomorrows technology will reduce CO2s furthermore, from a lower grade ore, and that steel producers will achieve more from working with a lesser grade, again due to technology. It has to be said though, given our length of application process, and the ore quality at Kallak, not everyone is on board it would appear. However, with the Kallaks grade, and how that fits with political objectives in the west, we couldnt hope for more to be honest. In my opinion only. atb
Two large mining projects in Norrbotten, Laver and Kallak, are waiting to go into production. In Kallak, four miles west of Jokkmokk, British Beowulf Mining wants to open a mine. But just before Christmas, the county administrative board in Norrbotten dismissed the company's application for processing concession. Similarly, Boliden's Laver Project, a decision by Boliden appealed to the government. Kaunis Iron, who has taken over the Northland Resources Iron Ore Mine in Kaunisvaara, has also encountered patrols when the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency claims that the company, with current environmental permits, can not run the mine in the same way as the former owner. Now, S-tops in Norrbotten require the government to put foot down and they are of the opinion that the mining industry is consistently disadvantaged by the authorities. "Now we have ended up in a situation where the mining industry has very hard to work. That's when it gets crushed, we can not have it, "says Nikas Nordstrm (s), municipal council in Lule, to Dagens Industri. The government seems to agree. An investigation will be made to review in particular how environmental testing can be streamlined. https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&prev=search&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=sv&sp=nmt4&u=http://www.metallerochgruvor.se/20180119/4996/gruvprojekt-i-norrbotten-stoter-pa-patrull&xid=25657,15700022,15700105,15700124,15700149,15700168,15700201&usg=ALkJrhi5KJjtHCzRBEb8c7ng9xKPPZnZXw
The JORC classification was secured and revised several years ago, and used to support the exploitation licence application. The company, investors, MI, the SGU and others know that there is many hundreds of million tonnes of ore in KS and KN. The scoping study underpin the application, and support comments from the MI in respect of ongoing exploration being an ongoing process during the working life of a mine. The Kallaks will be mined...
Said with conviction! Here’s hoping... As we are in uncharted waters, I’m not so sure that there would be an appeal at this stage. I think the point of asking for the latest responses is to avoid such an outcome. In effect, all parties have had their opportunity. However, appeals might arise following the environmental and planning applications. That said, as we find ourselves at this strange juncture, environmental issues have already formed part of this process, in part due to the incompetence of CAB, when clearly they shouldn’t have done. Clear as mud?
plus; While external observers were expecting higher maiden resource tonnages for Kallak South, it is worth pointing out that the 2014 drilling programme for Kallak South focused on defining the potential extent of the orebody. The geophysical magnetic signature of mineralisation, evidence of the presence of magnetite, extends through the gap giving confidence for an exploration target, but insufficient drilling precludes any additional resource classification.
hmmm...I'm not quite sure this actually means... A global resource of 250 million tonnes (Mt) is achievable, if the current exploration target in middle of Kallak South is drilled and converted. The exploration target represents potential ore, specifically in the gap between the northern and southern ends of Kallak South, and below the pit shells modelled for the resource statement. The Kallak North orebody remains open at depth and to the north. target?
tintin, I believe its already proven that KN and KS are joined 'at depth' I think the report read.
My most likely prediction to be proved right is; Scoping study shows that there is a link between North and South kallak - This is compelling news for Gov't and we get licence around April. Samis appeal unsuccessfully so confirmed in May- JV with LKAB announced in August. we let them get on with it and find somewhere nicer to drill. SP peaks at 30p on licence - drops on appeal and up again to 50p in jv. Sorted.
Likewise... There are numerous possible outcomes, but until the exploitation permit is granted... furthermore, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that the licence be not granted. Exciting times, and I remain positive based on my research.
It does make you wonder if this has been for quite some time,a done deal and we are just going through the necessary motions ? Lol but it really does cross my mind.I wouldn't rule anything out in this farce.
It would be interesting to know the definition of 'expanding the product portfolio'. Do LKAB have high concentrate iron ore in their portfolio? Anyway... small steps. The scoping study is imminent, and then as indicated by KB, they will be seeking some form of time-frame from the government. This is the worst part... waiting, but without a deadline!
LKAB is aiming for new records. "Increased demand in China gives clicks to the treasury for the state mining group LKAB. This year, CEO Jan Mostrm is aiming for one in the line of record iron for iron ore spellets. He is also considering expanding the product portfolio "
"I wish you and all others on the bored good luck" Ah, never a truer word said....
Yes they do matter Sooz, but the reaction doesn't. I'm not letting that bother me. Nighty morn. x
It does matter, personal ethics always matter, well said Treetop.
